Great hotel made even better by the staff working in the rooftop bar. Yanis (“John”) runs the morning shift and is just the sweetest and funniest guy. Allen takes over in the afternoon and evening and provides non-stop entertainment while making the most banging cocktails. We even kept coming back after we left the hotel!

We will miss these guys :(

We went early October and it was lovely and peaceful. Rooftop pool is beautiful. Location is amazing. Best bit about this hotel is the finishing touches. There are towels by the pool, almond milk for breakfast, lockers for your valuables after checkout, a shower by the pool, complimentary coffee and a bottle of water on arrival.. they really try to make your stay a pleasant one. Breakfast is great, lots of variety.

Small shower and bathroom. The buses from the airport are difficult to navigate and we couldn't find anyone to ask. Taxi drivers make up the prices on the spot. Cost us 30 Euro in a shared cab to get to the hotel from the airport. The walls are thin which made it difficult ult to sleep without ear plugs. The bed wasn't very comfortable.

We loved our 11 day stay in the Maritina. The staff were so helpful, welcoming & an absolute joy to deal with from arrival to departure. Our room was serviced every day, by the wonderful service team. The pool area was brilliant and Alan was fantastic, with great service, attention to detail & his poolside music mixes created a great relaxing & fun atmosphere. The location of the hotel is a perfect base to explore Kos Town & beyond. We found it great value for money, with a wide choice at buffet breakfast. 😀

The biggest value of this hotel is its location - the perfect spot in the center of Kos town - 3 min walk from the main square, 4 min from the bus station, everything is close and convenient. The staff is nice - smiley and polite. The breakfast was very good!.

The rooms are very small, the double bed is just 2 single beds next to each other and they have wheels so they move a lot in the night while you sleep and if you are a couple always someone falls in the hole between the beds 😆 They clean the room everyday but the bathroom was not very clean. The shower head was broken so taking a shower was a little challenging but this didn't spoil our stay. The last day the AC broke down and they didn't fix it but again - it was not a big deal, we didn't use it a lot anyways.

Great location, really friendly staff , room cleaned every day in the morning, perfect if you need to go back for an afternoon nap. The wifi was very good and the room had charging points. The pool on the roof was amazing with comfy bean bags and a bar. The pool is more a dipping pool to cool off rather than for swimming. I think this hotel is rated as a 3 star but in my opinion it should be a 4

In this day and age you don't need to change the towels every day. The shower could have been a little bigger

Great location in the centre, 5-10 mins walk from all the ruins & harbour. Room wasn’t huge but was well appointed, really comfy bed, good shower, clean. Make sure to ask for one with a view, as we noticed that some just look out over other rooms. Amazing rooftop terrace with plunge pool & bar. Breakfast buffet had loads of choice inc.plenty of hot items.

It was great, but if I had to choose sthg - Breakfast room was effectively the hotel lobby, with no windows as it was set back from the street, so not v attractive. However, on warmer days you can sit outside on terrace tables the (relatively) quiet street.

Such a lovely stay. The pool was incredible and peaceful the rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were so friendly and warm. The views all around were lovely and the location was perfect in central Kos with gorgeous area and facilities around. The pool was so clean and fabulous. I would stay here again and again

There was only one thing that was a minor problem was the fact you could hear the hallway outside of the room quite easily and clearly.

pool is quite small considering number of guests the hotel accommodates. It looks bigger in the pictures. noisy guests late at night in the hallways but this is something not under the control of the hotel but maybe some signs needed to ask guests to be considerate of other guests

The roof top bar is awesome, the cocktails delicious, the beer ice cold. The bar keeper did a great job. Old Town is just around the corner, the harbor 5 minutes walk, bus stop maybe 1 min, and ancient ruins all around. Breakfast was quite good, nothing special but as much as you like. Had a pretty good time staying there and met great people (staff and other guests). If you are looking for a budget option (don't expect a 5 star hotel directly at the beach) in Kos, Maritina Hotel is definitely worth to check out, especially because of the bar, have a cocktail and enjoy the view. Good times.

The room was clean, modern and well maintained. The location was ideal, being within walking distance from the main attractions of Kos Town. The staff were friendly and always welcoming upon arrival.

The breakfast was slightly disappointing. However, this did not overshadow our overall stay. The main concern was the noise of the hotel. The room doors did not insulate noise from the outside corridors, so when people arrived back at the hotel in the early hours of the morning, you could hear them as if they were inside the room with you.
