A comfortable, good value hotel in Piraeus and only a short walk to the port. As with many other guests, we stayed only one night before taking an early morning ferry the next day, but the Argo hotel was a good choice.

Unlike many other hotels in Piraeus that we have visited, breakfast at the Argo doesn’t begin until 7.00am (rather than 6.00am elsewhere), which means that it is not available to anyone taking one of the early morning ferries to the Cyclades (which mostly leave between 7.00-8.00am). However, there are many cafes, coffee shops and bakeries in the port area, so it’s no big deal.

I was staying there overnight on my way to get to the ferry to the islands, and for that purpose it was great. The hotel is basic, but very convenient. It is situated very close to the bus and metro stop that link Piraeus with the Athens airport and is within a walking distance from the port. The location is central, overall nice, and safe at night. There are a lot of places of interest within a walking distance, stores, markets, and even one bakery that works 24 hours. The room was tidy, clean and practical, and even had a little balcony. The team was very helpful.

The room is really very small. I was staying there just for a night, so it was not an issue, but I think if you properly want to stay in Piraeus for a few days that might be rather uncomfortable.

The location with easy parking was the reason we picked this room. It is easy to get too and the parking is monitored by camera. Staff were very helpful. Access to ferry was super easy which was our main concern. I would recommend if you are looking for a room that is not too fancy, however, has everything you need, safe parking and easy access to port/ferry.

The city itself was not great. There were a few places we enjoyed, however, overall it is a "port" city, which is what we expected.

Perfect for an overnight stay if you are catching an early ferry as it is within easy walking distance from the port and other transport. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable for what it is - very happy with the value for price!

No lift up to the room so carrying a heavy suitcase up stairs isn’t always ideal. The room is also very small so there isn’t enough floorspace to open a large suitcase on the ground so had to make do with opening on the bed. Despite this it is fine and manageable for 1 night.

I highly recommend this amazing hotel. The Staff are all very friendly and professional. They always take the time to help out their guests. The hotel is consistently great . Really great location and walking distance to the metro and Tram. This establishment is also very close to the port. The rooms are always very clean and have everything you will need upon your stay. This Establishment rates five stars and more. It should be noted I am originally from Ireland, Lived in the United States for over thirty years and served with the United States Marines all over the world. I definitely know a great hotel from all my Travels and Life Experiences. I definitely will stay at this hotel again upon my return to Athens, Greece. A must stay when in Athens, Greece.

No dislikes at all.

The room was clean & as expected from the photos. The bathroom was small but nice & clean as well. The bed sheets & towels were good. There is a lift to the upper floors which was handy with a heavy suitcase. The staff were nice and very helpful. I was catching the ferry the next morning, the hotel was close enough to walk to the port with my large heavy luggage.

This isn’t necessarily hotel related but I arranged with the hotel for a driver to pick me up from the airport as I was arriving at 01:00 in the morning. They said the best price they could offer for a driver during the night was 69€. The driver picked me up from the airport seamlessly - he was a taxi driver which was perfectly fine. However he put on the taxi meter when we left the airport, when we arrived at the accommodation the meter said 53€ but he still charged me 69€. I had prior to arriving agreed to the 69€ so I paid it but was disappointed that the hotel said 69€ was the best price. I felt a little ripped off. So my recommendation would be to take a taxi from the airport rather than arranging a driver.

The beautiful room bed is big and comfortable all about the bedsheet pillows white smell so nice you can see it's very clean and new our small balcony you can see the streets and the church back side beautiful, the room decor simple and elegant. Very CLEAN

The only thing really funny is the elevator as soon as we go in I don't realise that it is too small for 3 people and we have luggage and two backpacks so we squeeze it's other so I laughed so much but because It is a small but plenty of room beautiful hotel anyway.

If you are looking for an amazing hotel in Athens . Look no further. This was the first I stayed at this amazing hotel. The staff went out of their way and ordered me a taxi per my departure. I definitely will stay at this amazing hotel again in the near future. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, Lived in the United States for over thirty years and served with the United States Marines all over the World. A really good hotel for one night before taking a ferry. It's really a few min from Gate E7. It has a good quality/price. The night/ early morning receptionist was really nice and kept our forgotten belongings for us.

I had a bad phone calle with another receptionist when I called to notify our come-back to take back the forgotten belongings. She wasn't willing to listen to us or help us even though we had been clients.

The bed was very good, the room is big enough, with balcony. Location is very good - close to the port and metro station (to airport). We stayed only one night, so it was perfect for us.

The bathroom is a bit too small and the door cannot be completely close so it can be uncomfortable depends on your relationship with your roomie. There was info about the noise from 8 to 15 during reconstruction, but we left to the airport earlier so I cannot share how bad this reconstruction noise is.
