Super comfy bed with crisp white sheets. Lovely buffet breakfast with a good selection - all very tasty. Excellent bathroom with lots of hot water and good towels. The hotel has just been completely refurbished to a high spec - all very elegant, from the decor to the logo. I really enjoyed my stay at the Port Square hotel.

The metro station across the square isn't ready yet, so there was a bit of construction going on. When it is ready, the hotel will be even better located as it will have direct links to the airport and the acropolis.

Everything! A warm welcome, and polite and friendly front desk staff,super clean hotel,room size was perfect and very comfortable bed. The shower unit huge and a good strong jet,lovely toiletries.The Nespresso coffee machine is a major plus,the room decor and choice of colours soothing. The breakfast was lovely especially the roast veg,the staff extremely professional and in general the excellent service by all employees. The hotel location couldn't be more ideal, opposite the ferry terminal and 2 mins from metro station to the centre but most importantly to the airport. The front desk staff were so accommodating and allowed us a late check out at no extra fee and even recommended the best place to eat grilled meat...Fotis's place just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. We re definitely going to stay at this hotel every time we're in Piraeus.Thank you all at the Port Square hotel

Nothing except for the fact that I couldn't regulate the temperature in the room as the AC is set on a certain temperature for all rooms on the same floor. I need a very low temperature to have a comfortable sleep and the windows are locked for safety I guess. But the staff kindly sorted this out by unlocking one and leaving it on the incline position ( in line with security regulations). The only disadvantage though is that this would still be too warm for ME in summer as the outside temperature is always high. Noise level with window open is ok as there's no traffic. My husband found the temperature of the AC comfortable so it depends on the individual. Thanks 🙏 for unlocking that window 🪟.

Nothing to be dislike

The location (if you are catching a ferry), it’s newness, the helpful staff and most of all the wonderful restaurant on the ground floor. Tastiest modern Greek food we had whilst in Greece.

It’s very hard to find and the logo outside is too discrete and confusing. To make things worse the address on Booking.com had not been updated to reflect the recent change of street name. When looking for it we walked right past it twice. A taxi driver on the other side of the street (quiet side street) from the hotel did not know where it was and directed us into a dark alley way. We were rescued by a kind local. Whilst checking in another couple arrived angry and frustrated because their taxi driver had driven around and around and couldn’t find it.

The breakfast was great, better than American hotels. Had the local Greek and American choices. The convenience of it being right there was great, and I needed cups of ice often, they were nice to supply. The front desk attendant was very helpful in helping us to find a pharmacy. The taxis were right there when we needed them. The metro was right across the square. There were lots of shops and places to eat. We enjoyed sitting outside the hotel to have tea. There was a bakery that we enjoyed eating at too. The meals at the hotel restaurant were superb. It really set the stage for our cruise that followed.

I really have no complaints about the hotel or food. I just want to help with expectations of traveling. While eating outside the hotel there were children who came by asking for change. Then a man came trying to sell us watches, sunglasses, jewelry, perfume, he was very assertive and really we had to be ugly to him to make him leave. The next time we learned don’t make eye contact. We are Americans and we’re naive about that. The room was small compared to American hotels, but it made up for it with the view and how modern it was.

The breakfast was amazing as was the staff. The train was right across the street so we could get about anywhere easily. More importantly in our case, the water taxis left from straight across the street for what ever Island you were headed for. Easy easy.

The rooms were indeed cozy, but I was prepared for that. The elevators were tiny, and we frequently didn't know it had arrived due to the fact you have to open the door lol. (Especially if alcohol was involved.) In all honesty it was part of travel and the experience, so it was fine. Quite humorous actually. The staff was always available for questions.

The hotel is perfectly located for gates E7 and E8 at Piraeus and the metro. We walked from our ferry and easily found the hotel. It has a taxi rank outside, so getting a taxi from the ferry would also have been easy. The room was very well equipped, the bed comfy and a spacious bathroom. We had a tiny balcony with a view, which was a bonus. I liked having a good restaurant/bar on site, as being tired from traveling we didn't want to leave the hotel. We had dinner, which was delicious and a good buffet breakfast with both hot and cold selections. The reception staff are very helpful. We will use this hotel again.

Wonderful location for those seeking a Piraeus hotel with easy access to the port and subway connections into central Athens. Well conceived modern rooms with most of the amenities travellers want. Good breakfast in the adjoining restaurant and friendly and attentive staff throughout.

Being old fashioned, I still prefer bar soap instead of liquid pumps and there was no tea available in the rooms to satisfy a tea drinker, only coffee. Most hotels in Athens supply a couple of bottles of complimentary water but unfortunately not here. The room had cooking smells entering through the open bathroom window and the shower handle was not properly attached and kept falling off.

Fabulous location near the port. Walking distance to local shopping. We were late in from the airport but we received a friendly greeting and orientation to the hotel & its facilities. The room has had a modern refurbishment and was really well appointed. Lovely bathroom, comfy bed, coffee machine and exceeded our expectations. Our booking included breakfast which was a good range of cooked and cold options. Great coffee and the staff were fabulous giving us great tips for places to eat & visit in Hydra which was our next stop. Thoroughly recommend booking here. Wish we’d had a longer stay.

Recently stayed one night here as we were catching a ferry the next day to the Greek islands. Staff were very friendly and helpful (even told us the port number we needed to be at and how long it take to get there). They also provided an continental breakfast at 6am as we had an early ferry. Restaurant is connected to the hotel which was very convenient and had delicious food. Room was a good size and offered everything you needed. Price was a little more than other hotels within the area but I still think it was very reasonable priced and worth the money. Would highly recommend staying.
