I caught the X96 Bus from the airport and the hotel was a short walk from the Dimotiko Bus Stop - ideal with two suitcases. I needed a boat ticket to return home to the Island of Symi and it was a short walk into Piraeus Harbour the next morning to collect my boat ticket. For me, the Hotel was in an ideal location and suited my needs for my overnight stay in Piraeus. The Staff were extremely helpful at all times.

The entire booking process was made very easy. Questions were answered promptly, and staff were very accommodating. Even when booking.com messed up, the hotel staff were responsive and accommodating. The hotel is 9 minutes drive from the port and 38 minutes drive or 1 hour train from Athens Airport. Upon entry, you're greeted with refreshing aircon and a seating and non-smoking bar area to the left. On the right is the reception area. We were greeted by Lia, and it was nice to put a face to the name of my messages. Information was checked, and the room key was received. We were extremely grateful that our room was ready as we arrived earlier than the usual check-in time. This was a bonus as we were extremely tired. We were most impressed with the level of hygiene at this hotel. Everything was absolutely spotless. The toilet had a seal on it, stating it had been sanitised. The towels were in a sealed bag. The room was modern and had a mini refrigerator, along with a range of complimentary hot drinks. We even had a balcony to relax on. Breakfast is on the 1st floor and costs €10pp. Cute space. There is an elevator, but the stairs are good too. There is also a 'left luggage' storage space for after check out or before check-in. This came in useful as we were able to use our time to explore more before our late flight. Staff were knowledgeable and provided recommendations on restaurants and tours. Thanks, Christina. Apologies to the male staff as there were no name tags, and I forgot to get your names. Customer service was consistent and of high standard by all we interacted with. Out of the 3 hotels we've stayed on this trip, this was by far the best budget hotel. We would happily take and stay here again.

Perfect place to stay if you plan to catch a ferry in the morning. Small, but clean and comfortable. We arrived late as our flight had been delayed to Athens. After picking up our rental car at the airport we drove to Piraeus. Anthony checked us in and was very friendly and helpful. He called a nearby garage to let them know that we were coming and wanted to park the car for 4 nights while we visited Hydra. The parking garage was a two minute walk from the hotel, charged 10 euros per night and was guarded 24/7. The woman who checked us in was also very nice. Our walk to Gate E8 at the Piraeus Port in the morning took less than 10 minutes.

My wife and I struck it lucky on choosing #oleabayhotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. What made this hotel so special and memorable was the staff. Stavros the manager greeted us every morning with a warm smile and acknowledgment. Hara the daytime receptionist was our first contact with the hotel upon arriving. Hara greeted us like family and was sincerely interested in what we wanted to do and where we wanted to go during our stay, taking out a map and drawing her on own legend on it to guide us. Chrysanthi the afternoon receptionist was equally amazing. Her smile was infectious as was her interest in our plans especially recommending and booking exceptional dining venues. Alexandria who was present every morning at breakfast greeted everyone with a smile and also expressed interest in what we were planning as well as continuously restocking the breakfast menu ensuring everyone’s needs were met. Lastly but by no means least Laz our barman, who we felt was only there to provide my wife with an array of cocktails and letting us feel that we had known him forever. We didn’t get to thank the cleaners who everyday, without fail ensured our room was spotless and the bed freshly made. The Olea Bay Motel is an exceptionally well maintained property close to Adamas but far away enough to enjoy peace and quiet lazing around the pool. Thank you all for making our stay the best place I have visited in a very long time. We wish you all the very best in fortune and happiness .

Absolutely nothing - except that it appears booked out next year already which tells you something

The room was clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a great size. It is a great spot if you just need a night in Pireaus before or after getting on a ferry.

There wasn't a large selection of places to eat around the hotel - everything was a bit of a walk away. The area doesn't feel like the safest area (noting we were there at the end of the season though, so everything was really quiet - it might feel different in peak season).

Amazing hotel, the best for the price! Rooms are very modern, clean, comfy and nicely furnished. Staff at the reception is very kind. It's very near the metro station (Dimotiko Theatro) which is very useful to get to the airport easily in 1 hour. It's also only a few meters to the center of Piraeus, so you can get there by feet in under 10 minutes! My room was at the 6th floor so I had nice view on the city. I highly recommend it!

Breakfast was good and good value. Recommendation from Christina on the front counter was great . Food and value good. Balcony was great huge area. Allowed us to store suitcases there whilst we travel around to some of the islands for a few days. Easy and quick walk to ferry terminal.

Room could have been bigger but understand space is limited and balcony service helpfulness and friendliness of staff well and truely made up for it.

Lovely, clean hotel. Extremely helpful and very friendly staff. Location very convenient for the port. Breakfasts were delicious and good value, serving a wide range of food to cover all tastes.

Whilst the location is extremely convenient for the port, this does mean that it isn’t the most glamorous of spots. Once you arrive at the hotel though, it’s really lovely. We would definitely choose this hotel again if we travel from Piraeus.

We had a lovely relaxing comfortable stay at the Piraeus Port Hotel , had a room on the 6th floor with a beautiful large balcony, and incredible views of the Acropolis in the distance. The area is peaceful and quiet so we slept very well. Comfortable bed , with little fridge and coffee and tea making facilities, lovely modern shower and toilet with wash hand basin , loved this hotel will definitely be back . Christina at reception was amazing, so friendly and informative, thank you

Loved everything

It was exactly what we were looking for! Overnight hotel in the heart of Piraeus and a 10 minute drive all to the ferry terminals. It was super clean and the beds were comfy. Shame we had to get up at 5am, would have loved to have stayed for longer. The staff are excellent here, it really makes a difference when people are helpful. We’ll definitely be back next year when we travel to the islands again.
