Me and my partner are in our early twenties and stayed here for a week while exploring Rhodes. Allegory Hotel is relaxed, romantic and charming. The central location is amazing and it is easy to walk to restaurants, shops, the marina and nearby bus stops. It felt like a home away from home- Konstantina communicated brilliantly from the moment we booked with any queries we had. We were welcomed with a bottle of white wine to celebrate our anniversary. The lovely receptionist Raluca was very kind and helpful throughout our whole stay - she helped us with bookings and gave us a lift on the golf buggy to the walls so we didn’t have to walk far with our luggage. Our room was unique and spacious with fabulous high ceilings and original architecture that felt like stepping back in time. It also had a modern bathroom, lovely comfy bed, and dressing gowns etc. We really liked the speaker system for listening to music in the evening and the spa shower was amazing after beach days. It was always clean and cool. Breakfast was a treat every day. Fresh fruit, yogurt, breads, etc. The chef (whose name I didn’t get sorry) was really friendly and made amazing omelettes and offered any coffee we liked. She remembered little things about us and made us feel at ease. We sat in the terrace and due to the hotel being small it felt so homely and special. Overall we recommend Allegory if you want to have a unique location that adds a touch of magic and luxury to your stay in Rhodes. Our recommendations : pop by the Gelateria next door. We really loved anthony quinn bay (easy to get to by bus) and we did a fabulous kayak tour with Trekking Hellas.

They were very helpful and friendly! We even received a small gift from them while we were leaving. Everything was perfect about our stay. They welcomed us with welcoming drinks and fruits, helped us to find good places to eat, helped us while renting a car, also they arranged a buggy to reach the hotel. It can’t be more! The location is the best!! It is in the old town but not in the crowded part, so you can reach everywhere by walk and at the same time you can sleep well during the night. It is not far away from Elli beach, it would take around 15 mins walks, in nice streets. I totally recommend this place to everyone, and would like to stay again for sure!

A compact, unique property in a great location within the walls of the medieval old town. Fantastic communication from moment of booking to check in. Recommended a great restaurant and made booking on our behalf. On arrival greeted with a complimentary drink of choice before being shown our wonderful room which was so comfortable. After a great nights sleep we had the best breakfast so much more than we imagined. A huge array of fresh fruit, meats and cheese , yoghurt etc choice of different coffees or teas and freshly squeezed fruit juice followed by choice of eggs we chose omelette with feta and fresh herbs. All staff so friendly and on check out they let us leave our bags so we could enjoy our day bag free. We were given a lovely gift on departure Nothing seemed too much trouble

Location excellent for all facilities in the Old Town Rhodes. Breakfast was good but the same every day, which for a weeks stay a little boring. Staff friendly and helpful.

Attention to detail on maintenance. Wardrobe rail collapsed, some lights in room not working. Poor light during the day as small windows and poor lighting. Too much light at night! All switches, which are numerous, have illuminated rings of light around them making room too light and difficult to sleep. Skylight on landing let in light very early in the morning, waking you up, as no door on bedroom. Hotel looks beautiful and has been renovated in a quality way. However, sometimes it’s style rather than practicalities!

The hotel was great, the bed was so comfortable and there were small details such as dressing gowns, coffee machine and obviously the hot tub was great. The staff were really helpful and provided anything that was asked of them e.g an iron. The breakfast was very nice it included greek yoghurts, cheeses, fruit, coffee and orange juice - although please be mindful if like mine your partner is fussy with food, however there are plenty restaurants around. Rhodes is amazing with so many restaurants and bars I would definitely go back. You have to go exploring as we didn't find cute hidden restaurants until our final day.

The room was double the price of others in the area and based on the reviews I expected so much, the room was nice but it was dark and small (extra lights required), it was very hot on the area to have breakfast (no fault of the hotel) option to have in rooms would be a nice extra. As there is so much to do in Rhodes I have preferred to stay in a cheaper hotel as you don't need to spend much time there - that being said the beds were really comfortable!

If you want to experience Greek hospitality, you will not be disappointed by the team at Allegory. The staff is very nice and accommodating. They are always available and finding ways to support you. I was pregnant and they helped me to move around with my luggage using the town's electric vehicles so I can carry the less weight possible. They also helped to book an extra night last minute and always had small attentions that made our stay great. The location in the old town is also great - quiet and relatively close to one of the gates so you can move around easily

Maybe the lighting in some rooms can be stronger but that's all

Really nice boutique hotel in a quiet section of the Old Town. It takes 15 minutes walking to the nearest beach. Room was spacious, jacuzzi was really nice, shower was great, airco was strong enough to handle the Rodos heatwave. Breakfast was plentiful and very tasty. The best part was definitely Konstantina - such a nice person, very easy to communicate with, immediate replies to all my enquiries. Overall it was an amazing experience, even despite the difficult times with the wildfires happening around the island. I'd happily be back!

Only one thing I would recommend/mention is the light switches in the room, which are lit and are quite bright during the night. Apart from that, nothing else to mention.

A beautiful place in the old city where we were warmly welcomed by our he most helpful Konstantina and her great staff. The hotel is tastefully decorated and we had every convenience in our room. The breakfast was served on the patio - such an array to choose from: freshly squeezed orange juice, smoked meats, local vegetables, jams, honey, yoghurt, cheeses, breads, a choice of eggs and great coffee.

Allegory Hotel is a beautiful and atmospheric stay in the old town. The room was tastefully renovated and managed to be both charming and modern. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was lovely. The mini bar was well stocked and reasonably priced. Konstantina and her staff made us feel very welcome and helped us with car hire and all the little things one needs assistance with when on hols. Would highly recommend.

Perfect hotel in the medieval part of Rhodos. The hotel is perfectly located in the calm part of the old town but at 5min walk from all best restaurants and bars. Ideal to be the « base camp » to visit the island. The staff is perfect and will help you to book cars, best restaurants, spas and whatever you want to do!
