The facilities and location were perfect for a city break however the most memorable hotel stay was all down to the amazing staff at the front desk. Katerina was truly the BEST from great advice on what to do in the city, where to eat or how to travel around. She was the most dedicated, considerate and sweet concierge we have ever encountered and even made sure we received a proper Thessaloniki experience by sharing her favourite sweet treats with us. We honestly feel like we made a long time friend in her and she would be the strongest reason for us to return to the hotel, and would recommend others to do so as well.

It was a shame that there was no gym or spa facilities.

The staff were kind and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and- as a women traveling alone- safe. The breakfast was delicious and the hotel staff always insisted on their exceptional service. The rooms were wonderfully comfortable- it was the best place to get over jet lag.

Other than occasionally slow wifi, not much was to my disliking! The only thing I would mention to potential travelers is that the elevators are very small. Good for saving energy, but someone with claustrophobia may find themselves upset by their confining nature. I was alright though!

Despite the need for renovation, the staff at this hotel is friendly and the location is excellent. The rooms, however, could benefit from some updates and refurbishment to match the quality of service provided and the value for money.

The overall cleanliness of the hotel, including the bathroom curtains, did not give a sense of hygiene. As a tourism professional, I still gave a high rating, but I'm more concerned about whether they take customer feedback into consideration. Although I wasn't entirely satisfied, I hope they pay attention to the reviews and make improvements.

I have traveled to Thessaloniki tens of times, all of them for business. This time, we traveled for leisure as a family, the parents with two young children. It was my first time to Astoria. We had two double rooms with an inter connecting door on the fifth floor. Nothing could match our needs better. Both rooms were comfortable, with good-sized bathrooms. They were very clean. The temperature in the room was ideal, the mattresses very comfortable. The amenities in the room are basic but very nice. The breakfast was very descent. The location was ideal, especially for someone traveling by car entering the city from the west. A nearby parking on Polytechneiou Street is available at a very reasonable price for 24 hours. The personnel was very polite and helpful. Overall, Astoria, to me, was a very nice surprise, and I will consider it seriously to my business trips.

I don't see why the internet is via voucher per machine and only for 48 hours. Internet speed can be an issue for someone who would like to watch sports or a movie through his personal device. In the end, however, the system works, so I wouldn't make it an issue. Just a thought considering increasing the internet speed for the reasons I mentioned. Yet, it's not an issue to complain.

Really nice experience, the staff was really nice and the location is a good one, 5 min walking from the port and 15 min walking from the white tower. THe breakfast was really nice and full of different food every day. Lovely staying!!!

remove the shelf in the shower area, move the sink upper and replace the plastic cloth with a glass. Add few extra shelf in the room and bathroom in order to storage better, we had no space in toilet where leave the thighs.

This hotel is right at Thesaloniki center Walking distance to most attractions We got a beautiful suite with big balkony to the city Each one of us got a queen size bed We were surprised to find that in this hotel serve Kosher breakfast - this is something very valuable for us as we strictly keep the Jewish kosher laws It was a great stay

The stay doesn't include parking - you either park on the street if you are lucky enough or pay additional 17 Euros for the parking The mattress were a bit hard and not so comfortable

Excellent value for money. The hotel staff is really nice. The hotel's location is excellent, and parking is behind the hotel at an extra cost. The rooms are modern and very clean. When closed windows, it's not noisy from the street traffic.

The rooms are a bit small as well as the bathroom. Not enough shelves in the bathroom to put stuff in. When using the internet, you always have to type codes which expire after 48 hours. Breakfast was ok; not a lot of diversity, but it was good value for money.

The location cannot be beat—in the heart of the city and two blocks from the port. The front desk staff was kind, welcoming and helpful. In the room I was given the AC was not working so I let the front desk know and they immediately moved me to a bigger room with working AC. They also helped coordinate my travel to the airport which I appreciated.

The beds are very uncomfortable. I have now stayed in 3 different rooms here and in every one the bed is extremely uncomfortable.

Location is perfect for city center exploring. Like in other cities, center is pretty noisy, but that doesn't affect room comfort, due to solid sound isolation. There is a small parking lot next to the hotel, but, nearby you can find a few more parking lots with price between 15 and 20 EUR/day. Clean rooms, comfy beds, polite and helpful staff, tasty breakfast, and in spite of that, very competitive price. Overall very good impressions from staying at this property

Тhe shower place in bathroom was enclosed by a curtain and was little bit narrow. Anything else was ok.

The location of this hotel is perfect whether you wanted to be by the waterfront or Ladadika or Tsimiski or Kapani Bazaar it was all accessible on foot ! The spread & variety at breakfast was great....the staff very courteous & helpful Great Experience at Astoria....if am in Thessalonki again would love to stay here again 🤩

The shower area in bathroom is so tiny in most rooms except in higher category rooms which have a bathtub During my stay I had booked a single room and on seeing the room decided to upgrade for this reason...but some miscommunication amongst the staff regarding the extra I had to pay...the manager happened to be at the reception & I brought this to his notice...he was so kind not only did he apologise but waived off the room upgrade & dint charge me for breakfast as well! THANK YOU so much :)
