Pretty much everything - our room was spacious with good air-conditioning; the pool and sky bar area is comfortable with helpful staff and a good menu for food and drinks; the gym and spa in the basement are in good condition with helpful staff. It is a 15/20 minute walk into town, but the hotel runs a free shuttle service into the town centre every hour, so you don't need to pay for a taxi (unless you're later than about 10pm).

The only thing is that the WiFi isn't the strongest - I found that it dropped a lot at the pool. But very minor dislike!

Everything was amazing and what you would expect from a 5 star property. Spotless, exceptional service etc. The spa was amazing. George gave a great massage and was a good personal trainer. We also got facials which were accompanied by great upper body massages but the procedures in the facials could have been more exfoliating and maybe some suction or something. It was just a face massage and some lotions and potions.

The service was exceptional and all done with respect and a smile EXCEPT 2 of the wait staff at the roof top pool. They were dead in the voice. Dead in the eyes and horrible service, disappeared, problems with billing, forgetting ketchup and mayo after three requests that it finally came after we were done with our meal. The other girls up there were soooo sooo friendly and helpful and courteous and eager to please and were so so kind. And we loved them.

- The rooftop swimming pool is very nice, albeit a little small compared with the size of the hotel (we managed to always find two beds and an umbrella, but we always went at opening time) - Even if the hotel is relatively far from the city center, the city is reachable via a quick and cheap taxi ride, or the hourly free shuttle bus managed by the hotel (until 18:00) - The staff is super nice

- The position of the hotel - We had big troubles with the air conditioning in the room: the thermostat was not working so we had to always call someone to manually adjust the air valve in the false ceiling. The staff was quick to respond, however we kept having the room at sweating temperature in the afternoon, and freezing cold in the night. Again, it was more or less fixed by the staff, but a problem like that is a bit too much for an hotel of this level.

All facilities were various and well maintained, sure there is plenty of room for develop and investment. The hotel bars and restaurants were top-notch with amazing quality in both food/cocktail and service and same goes for the indoor gym and spa services. The room was spacious and has lots of useful amenities. The staff is uniquely friendly, impressively efficient and genuinely professionalistic in what they do, everyone without exception.

I personally needed a coffee table and an ashtray in the veranda of my room since I had booked a smoker's room and I wasn't able to smoke indoors. I think it'd be more useful than an empty nonetheless spacious veranda. Concerning the roof- pool bar, my suggestion would be to improve the quality of the equipment. They should replace the plastic and cheap items such as the plastic cones and chains around the pool with automatic pool shutters to prevent anyone from entering after the time limit. Secondly they should install a wooden/medal fence (decorated with greens and flowers) around the roof garden area in order to avoid the accidents and other issues caused by the random wind currents which is annoying for the customers.

amazing stay , nice and comfy beds they give as a room as requested in advance not facing the Main road and was very appreciated, lovely to enjoyed a welcome drink on the bar and using the facilities such as gym , indoor summing pool , sauna and jacuzzi , very huge hotel and very friendly staff

just a minor issue when the hotel as 5 star not having inside the rooms coffee facilities, also a major issue is the hotel sadly didn’t have cleaning towels or delivered after housekeeping clean my room , location a bit far but they offer a feee shuttle to the city Center so helps a lot , but easy to do a city Center walk from the hotel 30mim or so

the hotel is great, the rooms are excellent and they really surprised us with cake and goodies for Easter, as well as a glass of champagne voucher as wellcome. the rooms are clean and the pool on the rooftop looks great, only it was still cold for swimming. the staff is friendly. the location of the hotel is about 15 minutes from the seaside promenade, which is fine, and they also have organized transportation during the day.

The spa was not open at the time we were there, which is partly why we chose the hotel initially - advice to check if the spa is open.

Fabulous stay, staff would do anything to ensure you have a great memory of The Met. General Manager Constantine, Marios (breakfast) and Sophia, the lady at the egg station, the staff who brought us HDMI cable/kettle, shuttle driver was great, luggage, spa staff etc. Definitely worth a return and will recommend to others. I will complete a trust pilot review in due course. The roof top swimming pool where - l wanted to serve myself water and staff said ‘l am at your service’. Don’t mind the distance to the centre there is a shuttle service everyday and l later realised there is airport transfer at reasonable price. What is there not to like, my 17yo doesn’t want it to end but good things do come to an end. Varied breakfast too. Staff everywhere ready to serve!!! I am glad we choose The Met. Please keep up the good work. Lest l forget we also got an upgrade !!!

Nothing to dislike

The room was very neat and the bed was extraordinary.  When you need a good rest that's what you'd prefer. The breakfast was very extensive. They made the omelette how you'd wish.  They had fresh fruits, Greek patisserie , salads, greek coffee,  croissants and many many more delicious foods. The hotel provided a shuttle bus every hour to the centre and also to return for free. There was a pool to swim and hamam for free. They had a spa section and you'd get -15% discount. Our flight was in the evening. Although we already checked out we could take a shower before going to the airport without charge.  Even the towels and shower gel was included. The staff was very friendly and always helpful.  We forgot a blazer and they called us immediately after we left and went back to get it. That's how quick the service is. So just two words.  Top service!!

No remarks

The staff is very polite, they fulfilled all our requests fast and right. The breakfast was very tasty with many various dishes. There is also an underground parking, which is paid 10eur per day, but its safe and comfortable.

The mattress was not comfortable and the pillows were extremely soft, even there was another pillow in the closet, it was the same, so you don’t have a choice of hard and soft, there was only soft. The spa is pretty small for the number of rooms that the hotel is serving, so there was no free beds in anytime, the jacuzzi as well was busy most of the time. The toilet “walls” are glass and it’s not much convenient.

The pool was fantastic & the staff were very nice. Breakfast was sensational.

For a 5 star hotel you would expect it to have a smart tv in the room.
