I have been visiting the hotel since 2004. I can't believe it will be almost 20 years. What makes a real difference with this hotel is its own people. Their "will-to-help". They care for you to feel comfortable. The other thing I like is the comfort of the rooms. They are big rooms with the right furniture. Unfortunately, most of the time, when you find hotels in the center of big cities, you will get hotels with small rooms. Holiday Inn in Thessaloniki is not like this. The rooms offer great comfort, just like the staff. The location is great. It is 20 minutes walk from the center of the center, with space to park around, and many car parking spaces which you will find at a rate of 8 to 10 euros per day. If you travel by car it is more than ideal location. Trust me you don't want to be in the centre of Thessaloniki with one. The hotel is close to the highways. They have a swimming pool and a restaurant with a great view of the sea on the top floor.

Had the standard twin room which was adequate for our stay. ALL the staff were friendly and helpful to the extreme. The location was OK but we chose the hotel because there was on-site parking.

The bathroom was tiny but we managed. It's a good job we took clothes hangers, only 3 in the room.

The room was very clean with a comfortable bed, pillows and fair bathroom. There is a free coffee/tea in the room, room shoes and a small empty fridge containing only water. Toillet contained hair dryer, towels and additional magnifying mirror which was very handy. Wi-fi was excellent and very fast. The location is good, just a couple of minutes walk from the city center. The hotel has a small undergroound private parking which costs 10e/car/day.

The hotel does not deserve 5 stars, it is good but not excellent. Furniture and bathroom require renovation. There is a lot of noise in street-oriented rooms because of the traffic. Was also very loud in the hallways during one night because of the school excursion guests at the time of our stay. The parking is very small, something around 10 spots, and cannot be reserved in advance. Anyways, it is a good and safe option for a car if you need it.

The staff on the rooftop restaurant (Anita and Christos) were fantastic, very polite and pleasant. The food at the restaurant was amazing, and the pool was good. The hotel itself was newly renovated and very clean and tidy. Secure parking available onsite for only 10 Euro per day.

Our room smelled heavily of cigarettes, and the soundproofing was almost non-existent from neighbouring rooms. We were awoken loudly one night by a yelling man next door, and then even just someone speaking.

I could not add a bonus to the IHG rewards program because I made the reservation through booking.com. I can not understand why I paid a hotel that belongs to the IHG group. from next time I will have to book only through the IHG website and NEVER through booking.

Great location for what I needed, on the main road with lots of transport options and an ATM nearby. Facilities were excellent too. Breakfast had lots of options and on until a good time if you wanted a lie-in.

Only a little niggle, the minibar had a bright light that was directly in front of the bed. I had to cover it as I need almost total darkness to sleep. Other than that, no issues.

All the staff were helpful and very friendly, the breakfast was good and so was the evening meals and the service was excellent. The room had tea & coffee facilities, the bed was comfortable, we were pleased with everything.

Some areas of the bathroom looked quite tired, but apart from that it was clean & everything worked well.

Good location, walking distance to City center. Clean and nice room, friendly staff. Breakfast is good quality. Good price value hotel.

Underground garage is available but parking plots are relatively small. There was hotel staff to assist with parking in the garage.

Large, spacious and clean rooms; nice staff; good located between train station and city centre.

Not a five-star-hotel in my view: Not even a working fridge, not to speak about a minibar; neither a water glass on the lavabo nor a shoe horn; wlan so weak that you better surf with the general phone net.
