If you have high expectations, don't stay here. Otherwise, this hotel is a very good option if you need safe parking for the car and closeness (10 min walk) to the metro station. The breakfast is continental and with a good selection, coffee is great!

The hotel is a bit noisy, it's basically an old apartment building transformed in a hotel. Could be better cleaned inside the rooms, it's ok but if don't look under the beds For a short 1-2 night stay is good. If you plan a longer stay or if you have higher expectations then this won't work for you.

Clean hotel, I felt safe here. Very close to tram and metro stops (2 min walk). There was Hungarian breakfast included daily, with hot and cold options. The staff were accommodating and efficient. Tea and kettle in room. Air conditioned room. Hotel is generally quiet (no outside noises heard for the inward-facing room I stayed in). Generally the guests were quiet, too.

It is an older hotel. TV was a CRT model (haven't seen one in years). There were no USB charging ports. No milk in room for tea. Rooms have windows, but most look into the middle of the building - nothing to view. The area is not well-to-do, so expect some poor and homeless people around, though they will cause no trouble.

Air conditioning was the best (totally saved my life under 42 degrees)!! Staff speak very good English. Breakfast lasts until 10 am and I enjoyed it. Got a TV and a freezer (fully-functional albeit looking slightly old and wrecked). Got single-use shampoo and body gel.

The location is less convenient than I thought. You'll need to walk a bit from the nearest metro station. The room looks rather average than stylish. In some (just a few) corners there were ruins of bugs and spider webs which added to the vintage vibe of the whole room, I guess ;) But in general it was all good.

Location not to far from city centre. Breakfast varied and very good,desserts and drinks (juice, coffee, tea). Gabor receptionist very friendly and helpful. Towels changed every day and toilet paper replaced. The room it was nice and warm. If I will go again in Budapest I will choose Atlantic Hotel.

Just one thing when I chose twins rooms I thought that you can go from one room to another.

Everything was fine. Our room was quiet, clean, not to big but just enough for one night stay in Budapest. Breakfast was nice. Hotel is well located so you can walk to the city center if you are in shape or use a tram to Blaha Lujza ter and there you can choose other lines (tram or metro). There are a lot small shops where you can buy anything you need, some fast food restaurants, oriental shops etc.

Location is OK with trams and buses to the centre and even walking isn't really a problem. The metro from Kelenfold train station stops about 5 minutes way from the hotel so it is very accessible. Breakfast was surprisingly well stocked and substantial. Room had air conditioning and was very clean.

Staff were a bit curt but otherwise fine. Air conditioning randomly started heating up the room to 29 degrees for no reason.

Nice hotel in a quiet area of Budapest approx. 15mins walk from Keleti railway station Good size room with excellent WIFI Air Conditioning was very good Basic Hot/Cold breakfast with different hot food each day but could have been better with more choices, fruit/cakes etc.

Could hear TV/people talking in other rooms which isn't ideal when its goes on after midnight Creaky floorboards

You get what you pay for. Sure, the rooms can be upgraded to a more modern look and breakfast can be more divers but, in the end, I was satisfied with what I got for my money. The room and the linen were clean, the towels were changed daily, tram station pretty near and the hotel location not very far from the city center.

Sometimes the location of the hotel does not feel to be in the safest neiborhood, but I never had or seen any problems.

The staff was very friendly. Rooms are comfy, clean and very well equipped. Breakfast is good, the location is near the city center with just 2 tram stations away from Erzebet street.

We had a room with a view on the restaurant area, no natural lights. Small remark but no deal breaker, that's for sure.

Our room was a little bit noisy Thanks to tram (but you can ask room with windows not on the street), and no klima (there are some rooms with clima), but we were complet days outside, so we have choosen cheapest room and use room ventilator, so we were happy with price.
