The hotel is in a very good location and is a 6-minute walk from Astoria station, which is reachable by the 100E bus if you are coming from the airport. The room was alright, with a comfortable bed and clean space, and the hotel staff was polite and helpful for any queries. The breakfast also had a couple of options for everyone's taste; otherwise, just outside on the left-hand side, you can find a work place for food, and on the right-hand side, a cafe that makes delicious coffee. You do get a kettle and tea/coffee bag in room but no milk. You also have 'Ferenciek tere' metro station within a 5-minute walk and bus stops to take transport to various attractions. Also, there is no swimming pool at the hotel, as shown on Google Photos.

The location is great, very close to Astoria. Old fashioned hotel with good vibes. The room was spacious, clean and old fashioned style. The bathroom is clean with a good space. Breakfast was good and the restaurant was very beautiful and stylish. They saved us by giving us a kettle, it was very important to us.

The staff attitude wasn't very friendly except for the ladies. The bathroom needs to be upgraded. The breakfast options can be modified and increased.

Location was great for getting around without being right on top of busier nearby areas of attractions. My room was very comfortable and the shower was better than many places I have stayed at. Nice to have the table and chairs so that my friend and I could sit in each other's rooms to plan our days in comfort with maps etc. The space was clean when I arrived and I only wanted cleaning service in once as a short break but that was carried out well. I had asked in advance for a kettle which was in place on arrival.

I would have liked to have a cup to go with the kettle as I was clearly going to make hot drinks. However I just used a take-a-way cup and spoon when I got my first coffee out and about. Just a small thing. It might also be nice to have had a brochure or information pack in the room or available in reception on arrival, I asked for and got a free map at reception which was very helpful. Not everyone has smart phones .........

We arrived earlier than expected and before check in time, however we were happy to hear that the room was ready and we could go straight up - a very welcome start to our stay. The room was opposite the lifts but we did not hear any noise or disturbance. The room was clean and a good size. The position of the hotel was ideal for seeing everything that we wanted to see in the city. The cleaning staff were all polite and happy - always a good sign!

I found the breakfast to be ok but my partner was not keen on the bacon and the sausages weren't great. The buffet area was far too small for the number of people using it and it was difficult to move around with hot coffee and platefuls of food. However, the breakfast room was spacious and interesting and, I believe, part of the evening restaurant. On our last morning we had an early breakfast and the eating area was restricted to one small part by the buffet. This was not good - very crowded and dark with poor lighting.

The location were very good. Near bus stops metro stations and even a hop on hop off bus stop. Near the Ruin Bars and nice restaurants. We could walk to city centre and the river. The room and bed was fine. We stayed 4 nights.

Small things. There was no wastepaper bin in the room. Only small one in bathroom. The cleaning of the room every 2nd day is acceptable, but the glasses were not even washed and were still where we left them, towels not folded and put back on rail, and the plastic bags in which the glasses originally was not even taken away. Only the beds were made.

Very close to the city center, the guy in the reception is very polite and handsome 😁 Clean and small room. Breakfast was good. But I recommend to wake up earlier, cause restaurant is small and you may need to wait for an empty table. You may use minibud shuttle services from and to airport. You will see their desk at the exit of Budapest airport. And you can book your departure time as well.

They do not provide slippers and tooth paste. And you have to ask for a kettle in reception, then they will provide.

The location is amazing! Right in the center and within a maximum 25-minute walk from everything worth doing and seeing! Beautiful area too. The twin room we got wasn't very spacious but it was just fine. Beds and pillows were comfy and the bathroom was clean. Staff were accommodating when we needed information, extra towels, luggage storage. Very happy with it for the price we paid!

It's not a particularly beautiful hotel. Don't expect any luxury or modern facilities. It's very good as a 3-star hotel in the center of Budapest.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in even in the middle of the night was good and desk helpful arranging airport shuttle (wish I had known this earlier though as the Booking.com arrangement was dreadful) Location was good. Breakfast and rooms were okay.

Some more rye bread would have been good (as I can't eat wheat) and it was only there 2 days in the week. Some pillows made of natural fibres would have been good -- they were a little uncomfortable

The location is perfect- walking distance to the city centre, near to 2 metro stations & a tram station (from different directions), it’s a peaceful area even though it’s located somewhere around the heart of pest, Budapest. The room is comfortable & spacious for a family of three. Everything is clean including the bathroom. The service is really good & helpful. There are no convenient supermarkets nearby to go to at night (to buy water) but the restaurant next to the hotel lets us buy bottle of water from them.

It is slightly noisy There were stains on one of the towels & beddings. There’s no kettle provided in the room as well as at the reception.

Very well located hotel in central Budapest (Pest). Been here before, very happy and was so again. Nice room and very quiet. Efficient and helpful staff. Good atmosphere in general. Would stay again. Only issue is that guide books recommend not eating in the local area, because of possible issues with the bill. So I travelled a bit to eat- and went to Kecskemet one day, can recommend strongly.
