We had a great 3 night stay at Grand Jules. The hotel is well located, just 5 minutes walk from the nearest tram stop and 10 minutes from the Metro, both of which will take you towards all the important places! The view across the river of the Parliament building is spectacular, and worth choosing this hotel for alone. Rooms are comfortable and clean, with a special mention to the extremely helpful and friendly Dominik on reception.

Perfect location at a good price. We bought a hop on Hop of ticket & the bus stop is just across the road (just before the bridge) Rooms are small but cosy & fridge works like a dream. Breakfast is amazing & the breakfast person organising it all was just on top of it all! Highly recommend 💞

Something different and in a location that is hard to beat. Staff were all great and helped out with extending our stay due to unforseen circumstances.

Watch out because the stairs are steep as you would expect on a ship. Some sun loungers on the upper deck would be good.

The location is superb; it is a quiet place, yet centrally located. It provides a unique experience. Breakfast is tasty.

However, the room is smaller than we anticipated, and the walls are thin, making it possible for neighbors to be disturbing.

The location is amazing, exactly what you would expect. The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. The breakfast was diverse and plenty. The room was big enough, but i would recommend if you can, go for the family one even if you are a couple. The other rooms are a bit small. We have found a parking space and there were plenty of free ones, but keep in mind that this is a PUBLIC parking space and if you can not find a free spot you have to search for another parking lot and even pay (except on Sundays, when it is free, from what we have been told). I have seen other feedbacks regarding the specific smell and squicky floors, but it wasn't as bad as described l, in my opinion. Afterall, you are on a boat, not a building...

The shower goes right into the toilet and there are no windows or ventilation. The walls are REALLY thin and you can hear other people snoring. I recommend earplugs.

Lovely location with free parking space in front (if you are lucky), the room was clean, a bit dated but we didn't mind. The bed was comfortable, the amenities very basic but fine. Staff were wonderful, super helpful and nice. Breakfast was a little on the simple side, but fine. The coffee machine didn't work and they gave us instant coffee, but I hope it was a one time thing. The view is incredible and having your coffe on the top deck was such a treat. Can't wait to go back!

This place is in such a beautiful setting on and overlooking the River Danube with lovely views from the rooms. Set within walking distance to some bars and restaurants. Lovely area for sightseeing and all looks beautiful at night when it's all lit up. The rooms are comfy and the ensuite is a wet room so not very big but adequate. Lots of choice for breakfast with hot and cold buffet. Very friendly helpful staff at checkin and breakfast. Free parking is available although hard to get in and out with the busy road. All in all a great place to stay when visiting the area.

The main road was quite dangerous to cross at certain times of the day but that wasn't the the fault of Grand Jules.

I can't imagine a future stay in Budapest without staying on the Grand Jules. From the free parking right in front of the ship (with a superb view of the goverment building) to the best breakfast I've had at a hotel stay for at least 5 years. Our stay was perfect, we didn't feel any ship movements, like other reviews state. The beds were comfy, maybe a bit squeaky, but the view from our room was splendid. The overall furniture on the ship is not new but the room and everything on board was super clean (under the bed, under the mattress and everywhere in the bathroom aswell). Definitely would recommend this stay!
