Kind reception staff. Good accessibility to the means of transport for the city. Large but expensive parking lot (20Eu) Large rooms but equipped with the basics.

Mini bar with few products. Agglomeration at breakfast. Average quality of breakfast. People from outside the hotel have access to the pool. The jacuzzi is always full. At the bar, although we had free soft drinks, we were asked to pay for them, one evening. Inadequate quality/price ratio. Noise due to some parties until 2 am, during the second night. No one took a stand.

This big hotel has a four star look and feel with a large shiny lobby with bar and restaurant, but the rooms are a bit outdated. Breakfast is absolutely fine. Most important: the thermal pool totally makes up for the outdated rooms, there’s a 15m pool at 27 degrees, then two smaller pools at 33 and 38 degrees - included in the room rate, and open from 7 AM to 10 PM. Bathrobes and slippers provided in your room, towels for free at the spa bar. It’s a 5 minute walk to the nearest tram station - take the A1 tram for two stops, then the metro line 3 takes you anywhere in Budapest. Visit Terror Haza or the Franz Liszt house. Tickets for the opera are not expensive. For authentic Hungarian food you dont need to go far - a good restaurant is 5 minutes walk away: KĂ©hli VendĂ©glƑ, live music, always crowded so better reserve a table.

the rooms are outdated, some things are loose or broken, and it smells a little musty.

Room was ok. Clean and tidy. Could do with an update. Close to a nearby railway stn with Good transport links to trains trams buses. Metro. Was away from city Centre, but meant u got a good nights sleep. Breakfast was fine also. Recommend the visit to smaller Baths Lucaks Baths quieter than the others and only 4800 florin per adult for day pass. 72 Hour Travel Card 5500 florin for on adult ideal to get you around on trains metro trams and buses. Overall great City to visit. Also Visit Margrets Island with air Ballon and musical Waterfalls in park area

An issue with Hotel bar downstairs having to repeatably tell them that we had an executive room which included Complementary tea coffee and soft drinks. They said it was not on their system from reception ???

Overall, it was a positive experience, especially the breakfast, which was plentiful, of good quality, and varied. I would have appreciated more attention to the dessert section, perhaps with a tart or cake instead of the usual frozen pastries. The true highlight of the hotel is the wellness area, which made the stay very relaxing. The Finnish saunas were in perfect working order, although they were separated for men and women. The hot tub was excellent.

Unfortunately, the 38°C hot water pool was out of order and drained, and I would have preferred to be informed about this during reservatione rather than upon arrival. The spa staff were not particularly welcoming, especially when I asked for a larger bathrobe. Initially, they seemed annoyed and said they didn’t have my size, but after I insisted, they managed to find one. I rarely saw the staff smile, which I think is important since a smile is the first sign of a warm welcome. The room was cleaned only twice during a five-night stay. Lastly, I would have appreciated a wider selection of food at the bar.

We stayed at Verdi Budapest Aquincum from August 6th to 13th with my family, and it was a fantastic experience. We came to Budapest for the Sziget Festival, and this hotel perfectly balanced the festival excitement with our family comfort. First off, the hotel's pools were like a spa paradise! Perfect for starting the day with a burst of energy. And the breakfast—what a treat! It was like a breakfast show every morning, and even our little one had her own mini breakfast party. With our Budapest Pass, we zipped around the city effortlessly, and getting to the festival grounds was a breeze. The hotel’s location near the city center made it easy to explore during the day and return to the festival fun in the evening. The hotel staff were like superheroes; whenever we had a problem, it was solved instantly, and always with a smile. Despite the hotel being busy due to the festival, everything was incredibly well-managed—no delays, no waiting around. They truly deserve a round of applause! In summary, Verdi Budapest Aquincum added a crown to our Sziget adventure, offering a warm and welcoming experience. If you're looking for a place to stay in Budapest, I highly recommend this hotel!

Spa open from 6:00 to 22:00. Amenity is good. You can rent towels and the pool.Breakfast is good. it’s far from town but you can access to the tram easy. Overall it’s worth for the price.

Wired stain on the floor of the room and it’s covered with a red and blue spray paint. Pool area should be cleaned more often. Shower pressure in the women sauna is too low and I informed the pool attendant but he said that’s what it is. It was cold at night and no heater but they had some blankets in the room.

The wellness is big and awesome, amazing lobby with a lot of Xmas spirt at this time at year. The room are a lil outdated with a few flaws then they fix tho! but still some nice rooms size wise tho and view. Room service was fast to jump if troble. Evening/night staff was some awesome people. We had some food heated in 2 am as a lil help, night staff leight some of the most sweet people you could ask for, same goes for cleaning staff.

Now the bad part. Ms blond and brownie Karen team at the reception, two bitter and rude woman, a ton of attitude and failure to do their job. A day before we are suppose to leave the Karen team call us and ask "when are you going to leave?!!" In a very rude and aggressive manor, a minor missunderstqnding booking wise. There had been smoothen out before that, we go down to the lobby to talk with them, the manger was there, seemed very displeased with her Karen team, next day.. time before checkout they call the room phone hours before just to hang up at checkout Karen the brown smiled with a anyoing smirk look, so the Karen team, two sad people who brings a great hotel down.

My husband and our adult children stayed here while visiting friends and family (my husband grew up nearby), and it was exquisite! The rooms were well set up (we got two adjoining rooms), the facility was beautiful (make sure to go to the indoor pool!!), and the cafe was a delight. My daughter is a barista back home, and she had high praise for her coffee; and we enjoyed chatting with the friendly & professional fellow barista who prepared it. Everyone working there was really helpful, and the location is good for walking to the nearby island park or Obuda eateries and small museums.

Everything! Spa is amazing, cozy and clean, very romantic. You get bathrobes and slippers from hotel. Room is clean and comfy, we had our own bathroom with tub, equiped with towels, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer, shower cap. We had water boiler and few instant coffees, really nice gesture. Mini fridge with water bottles and small milks for coffee. Don't expect brand new furniture, but it is not important in this facility. We spent most of our time in spa and walks in the neighborhood. I strongly recommend goulash in Csalánosi Csárda Óbuda near the hotel. Beds are the comfiest we ever had. In case you were wondering , it is possible to merge twin beds. Really nice experience, we will definitely come again.

Staff were super friendly and very helpful! The thermal baths were amazing and beds were super comfy. Hardly heard anyone in the corridors when passing our room and to add to that any outside noise was muted as soon as we shut the windows.

The only negatives that we had with our stay was that the shower wasn’t the best as the shower head trickled water but in the end it did its job but it just took a bit longer. Bathroom randomly got wet during the night from the toilet area? But a quick wipe with the towel seemed to help just a bit weird. Last thing was that the air con wasn’t cold enough for us but we kept the windows open during the day which helped us sleep better at night.
