We chose this place as a quick getaway for a few days in Goa, our first visit. I was advised to stay in South Goa as North Goa tends to attract a boisterous crowd around this time of the year. Seems all guests received the same advice as of them, during our stay, seems so well-behaved but kept to themselves. This boutique resort seems to be newly refurbished. We booked 2 rooms facing the seafront for 4 nights. The rooms were neat and clean. The housekeeping was great. Special shoutout to Anupam. The room bookings came with buffet breakfast, generally with Indian spreads and a few continental offerings. We also had dinner on a couple of evenings. You get both buffet and ala carte choices. We also tried room service. Quite satisfied with the food, as we were quite free and easy on this trip. Staff were very business-like and helpful. There is a spathath offers Ayurvedic massage. Was ok. The beachfront is about 150m from the resort. We spent quite a bit of time on the beach. The centre of activities is about a 1.5 kms walk southward. The beach was clean though the swell was a little too high for swimming into deeper waters. There are lifeguards positioned about every 200m and they continue to warn you if you stray into slightly deeper waters. We also tried a few restaurants outside in Colva area and they were wonderful, attracting both tourists and local patrons. Also don't miss the food at the shacks on the beach. If you are going for just winding down on the beach, then the Sea Queen is not bad.of a place.

The WiFi connection in the rooms were poor often and had to go to the lobby to get a good connection. The swimming pool was a little too small for us, and was only 3.5 ft at its deepest end. We didn't get into the pool There wasn't any other activities organised by the management during our stay. FiFA World Cup 2022 was on and the resort could have had some activities including live screening of the matches for guests to watch together. Didn't meet any senior management of the resort who greeted or spoke to us. This can be improved. Such little friendly conversations provides lots of comfort for guests. The resort is located about a km from the main road and the access road crosses farms and paddy fields. You have to hire a tourist taxi to go anywhere from here.

Great location, right in front of Colva beach - you can walk down to the beach in just couple of minutes through the private walkway from the hotel to the beach. The property is very clean, I saw people cleaning it round the clock! The staff is polite, helpful and courteous, and service is great. At breakfast, while the spread is good, it didn't have sausages and bacon which I had put down on the feedback form - the next 2 days they arranged for it separately for us ( not as a part of the spread, but served one on one which was impressive) (Frazer is the guy at the restaurant who got this done)

Nothing much to say really - Food quality on their menu can be improved. Should add more Goan options in their main menu.

I was overly impressed with this property and their service. The resort is just away from the crowd, and felt quite private: including their adjoining beach which didn't have much crowd, even though it's just about walking distance from Colva beach. The rooms we had were comfortably furnished and the housekeeping staff were quick to respond to our requests, with the staff appearing in just a minute or two after a call. The restaurant on the property also served excellent food, you should try out their Goan menu tucked away at the end of the menu and ask the servers for the specials there. Except for breakfast, we usually ordered a-la-cart. The pool looked quite clean and had a crowd in it most of the times. With the beach in walking distance, we preferred the waves and the ocean instead.

You should ask for a room away from the pool area and the bar, if you plan to turn in early or traveling with kids. The pool and bar area get quite animated at night if there are folks in the party mode and conversations get loud.

The resort being in the midst of nature offers calm and serenity . The call of the wild peacocks was music to our ears. The staff is incredible right from reception to room dining. The room decor and layout has been well thought out with attention to detail. We were given an upgrade for the last four nights, which was a pleasant surprise.

The restaurant and shack could offer more Goan culinary fare which is quite rich and varied in flavours. Goan bread like poee and sannas, would complete the Goan food experience

This was a great hotel in terms of location - beach was very quiet & very accessible. It was also great it wasn’t a large hotel. Very reasonably priced - a hotel down the road was £900/night for a smaller room! We had a family suite which was a great size. We ended up eating here every night - 5 nights. Good portions were very reasonable, food was tasty & prices were good value. I had a facial with Shaneeta in the Spa - she was brilliant & highly rate her. The Margharitas were very good!

Wifi was abysmal. It cut in & out a lot. It was very difficult to get any wifi in the evening which meant it was hard to watch anything on the Netflix as it just didn’t load. Unfortunately there was a corporate event - albeit small - being hosted on our last evening. Most of them got quite drunk & we were woken up at 1am when a number of them decided to jump into the pool. This however shouldn’t put you off but would recommend a room away from the pool so you don’t get the noise from guests swimming early morning or late evening. The hotel manager did kindly compensated by paying for our taxi to the airport. My suggestion to the hotel would be make swimming pool only open 7am until 7pm & not let outside guests enter the property beyond this time.

Comfortable and clean. Nice pool and bar area. Spa onsite. Food was good with a wide choice. Staff were helpful. Netflix and YouTube available on the TV in room. Travel desk is helpful and hotel can arrange local taxis if you are going out and about. Rooms have balcony and are spacious and well decorated. WiFi good in public areas. Room service available although a little on the expensive side. Free bottled water available in room.

WiFi at the resort inside the rooms is appalling and the resort knows about the issue and is working on a solution. They should notify the guests in advance as it is a big problem. They did relocate me to another room where they are trialling another provider. WiFi service was much better but still dropped out regularly. Beach was across the road from the resort (just 3 minutes walk) but didn't look great. Don't arrange airport pick up through the hotel as they add 1,000 rupees to the total cost as their commission. Late September rained every day. A little over-priced for what you get. Forgot my in-room dining order on one occasion.

I had planned a 4 day stay with my wife and 2 kids. Went with very low expectations as had read mixed reviews about this hotel. But I am glad to say that this hotel performed much better than my expectations. The room we were given was a little smaller but was beautiful and clean. I want to give a special mention to Dylan, Ralino, Suvojt and Roshan. They are a gem of staff this hotel holds. We were always greeted with a smile on their face and they always had great ideas and suggestion for us for our trip. They were attentive to our needs when we had our food and always around to serve us. They made us feel comfortable. Special thanks to Dylan, a reason we would want to return to the hotel again. Their chef Mr. Kuldeeo and their team of cook are just amazing and cook amazing food. One of the best that we have had at any hotel stay. They took your requests and suggestions seriously and all our requests were answered to. My kids once wrote in feedback that they wanted donuts to be part of breakfast menu, and to their lively surprise they were greeted with yummy donuts the very next morning in breakfast menu. Over all it was a pleasant stay, with lovely staff who fills up the gap the hotel property lags behind on.

No WiFi signal inside the room

It was a family vacation and Sea Queen resort was a perfect stay for 3 nights. The beach was right in front of the property making it convenient to spend longer time on the beach side. The facilities at the resort are good and it is maintained very clean. The food was good and the restaurant staff was courteous. The rooms were well maintained and were hygienic. Overall it was a pleasure spending time at Sea Queen.

The location is great..very close to the beach. You can also walk to colva beach which is hardly 900 mtrs in case one wants adventure or want to do shopping. Food is very good and great variety loved the moongdal halwa The staff is very good and helpful. The facilities are good with pool, bar and good ambience. They provided me with a complimentary cake for my wife's birthday 🎉 which was amazing

The in room dining person who seems to pick up the phone seemed to be from kolkata region was very rude. The 24*7 room service is not really there if you want to order a heavy dish as the guy would tend to discourage you from ordering with timelines of more than an hour. A senior person checking with guests would have helped. Staff can smile a bit more 🙂..but overall it was good

Very good location and very near to the colva beach.. the resort also has the beach right in front. Rooms are well maintained and family friendly. The hospitality was top notch and very good staff.

Coming to critics part : The breakfast buffet options are very limited and food is not served fresh or hot. One more biggest disappointment was wifi access .. the rooms did not have proper wifi access and it was too slow.. I wanted to work from remote and ended using my phone hotspot.. I would really recommend the resort folks to work on the better wifi option…
