It was a very nice stay, such a nice room even if not that big, I was alone so it was good but for two people it would have been too small. It was clean, I liked the smell, fresh. I loved the breakfast with good choices even for me who doesn't eat Indian spicy food in the morning. fresh omelette and fresh waffle with nutella, masala tea and nice fruits. Amazing foot massage! Really nice terrace to also relax in the evening with free tea and snacks.

Being such an expensive and international hotel, I wouldn't expect staff who doesn't speak English. The breakfast staff was really nice, but it made it impossible to ask for things such as another coffee, or the time or other info. I think this is a very bad aspect of the hotel as it is very important as a tourist to be able to ask and speak to the staff if you need something. The people at the reception, especially the women never smiled and didn't even say bye or thank you when I checked out. I felt unfordable when checking in and out. Maybe some more smiles? It helps to feel welcomed especially in such a nice hotel.

This is a little haven away from the madness of Mumbai - excellent location walking distance from Chowpatty beach, but tucked away from the main roads.

Only minor complaint would be the size of the bathroom, as it was difficult to get in and out, but served our needs for one night.

The room was recently refreshed. There is snack time in the evening in the rooftop which is really nice. Hotel staff is friendly and always ready to help.

We did not have hot water in the shower but we did not ask for. A bit nosy because close to a main road.

Cute little boutique hotel near the busy Kemps Corner junction in South Mumbai. Most likely a heritage building converted into a hotel. Booked 17 rooms for 18 people - checkin was reasonably fast - staff was on hand to take us to our rooms and handle our luggage. Rooms aren't big - I'd say the bed and the room is comfortable for 1 person and slightly cramped for 2. Rooms were quite clean. AC took a while to cool, but the fan helped. Shower pressure in the bathroom is quite good, and there was hot water supply throughout. All rooms are provided with a complimentary snack, fruit juice, coffee mixers and bottled water. Breakfast on the rooftop is excellent - Indian breakfast items (poha, upma, idli, chutney, vada pav), Western breakfast items (eggs, breads, chicken sausages, pancakes etc.) There was a dosa and omelette counter too alongside fresh juices, coffee and tea. Enjoy a complimentary massage and soothing flute music during breakfast hours.

Staff at reception seems inexperienced - checkin could've been faster. It can get slightly noisy during peak work hours, but not too bad.

I love this place. I come to Mumbai often and always try and stay here. The staff are so kind, thoughtful and attentive. The hotel has a very unique character, where else can you have breakfast on a rooftop whilst getting a foot massage to the background of a Veena player The rooftop breakfast is tasty and offers a great choice. The rooms are clean and the beds comfortable. The staff really make Hotel Kemps Corner.

Hotel Kemps Corner is an absolute gem, in a great location. The rooms are squeaky clean, serviced every day and very comfortable. The staff is efficient and courteous and go out of their way to assist with any query. The breakfast served every morning is delightful and generous. A whole buffet of Indian and international dishes is guaranteed to satisfy the fussiest palette. Overall a fabulous stay.

The hotel was very clean and the vibe was cute. They also have a nice common area and breakfast/evening snacks on the rooftop was beautiful. The staff were very helpful and location was in a nice quiet part of Mumbai that was also quite central.

While the location was nice, quiet and relatively central on the map, the traffic in Mumbai means it's still about 30 minutes from any of the main attractions so be prepared for a lot of uber rides.

Super cute and cosmopolitan feeling. The rooftop was gorgeous. The room, albeit tiny, had very functional storage, and we didn't feel the lack of space much.

The staff wasn't as friendly as other places we stayed on the trip, but was still very helpful. Everything on the breakfast spread had green chilies in it, which was even a little much for our Delhi native friend.

The staff was lovely and super friendly. We were quite taken aback by how nice they were. The room was cozy, cool and very clean. The breakfast, even though very tasty, was a bit repetitive. Not really an issue unless you are staying for a week or longer though since you will not have time to get tired of it.

Overall great atmosphere. All staff go the extra mile, especially during breakfast and evening snacks. Incredible complimentary foot massages every day. Comfy rooms.

All in all great value for money. The rooms are very compact, but as I was by myself, no problem at all.
