So, if you want a reasonably priced, centrally located hotel - this place is it. I've lost count of the number of times I've stayed here in the 35+ years I've been visiting India. They've expanded considerably during that time, taking more and more floors of the building and considerably upgrading the standard of the rooms - now very decent indeed, and now minus the smell of mothballs which used to pervade the hotel. Staff were friendly, and there is even a resident driver who is available to take you hither and thither by arrangement.

There was absolutely nothing I didn't like on this trip. I couldn't have asked for a better stay. Really made my holiday being able to spend the last few days in comfort in Bombay - with all the sights within walking distance.

This hotel's location is fantastic. It's just a few feet away from Marine Drive. The Churchgate Railway Station and the adjoining bus stop are both within walking distance. The room and washroom were both neat and clean.

There was no hot kettle in the room, and they did not have any complementary tea or coffee. It is reasonable to expect given the price. As I was travelling with my child, I had to ask them multiple times through reception for hot water, but it was great that they always gave it immediately.

Location, Room, Staffs all was good. I was there for 3 nights with a family room, I went around 3:30AM in the morning but the check-in was smooth, prior I was in dilemma seeing some previous reviews but when I stayed there, all exceeded my expectations. Room was clean, well managed, Bathroom was good, Staff were loyal, Location was a plus.....Well done guys...!!!

All great except I could not charge my iPhone 15 Pro as there was no socket arrangement for it.

The best thing about the hotel is its location. It's in the lane with Pizza by the Bay on one corner and Churchgate station on the other. You can just walk over to the Marine Drive whenever you want. There are a bunch of cafes nearby you can hop over to (we really liked our meals at Foo and Mockingbird) and Rustom's icecream sandwiches are available right across the street. The staff were really polite and helpful. Our flight got terribly delayed, and they readily welcomed us cordially at 1 in the night. The deluxe room we stayed in was also quite comfortable and tidy. We also liked the simple buffet breakfast that was available here.

This is an old property and parts of it smell off/musty. It mostly does not feel like a hotel but rather a room in someone's home. No meals apart from breakfast are available at the property, but you can order in and they will serve it you with plates, cutlery, etc.

Excellent central location: easy walk to Fort area and Colaba Causeway. Close to good restaurants like Gaylords.

Breakfast was not included in the price of the room; this extra cost, although nominal, was added to the final bill. Most places in the area have this inclusion.

Location is excellent, just on the Marine Drive. The Family Room with beds for 4 adults is ideal for a small family. Nowhere any hotel provides such a room. I recommend this hotel to all small family visiting Mumbai. Binod Chandra Borah Guwahati

Hotel has no restaurant for lunch / dinner. However, this is not an issue. One can order food delivery and there are numbers of restaurant just outside this hotel. Breakfast is available in the hotel. Overall My family had a good experience. We stayed 26 - 30 Oct'23. Binod Chandra Borah Guwahati

Hot water and WiFi ok. Fridge but no kettle. Room cleaned thoroughly and tidied as required. Good location - 20 min walk to India Gate area and 5 min to Churchgate Station for cheap travel northwards.

Breakfast passable but was in a room the size of a classroom with just a couple of tables and line of dozen chairs along one side. Coffee or tea from thermos. Toast or some hot buffet choices but fairly limited. Cost 250 rupees not great value. After one day we chose the Pizza cafe across the road offering breakfast cooked on demand for 400-500.

Hotel staff always available. We were able to check in early and leave our luggage a few hours after check out. Breakfast was tasty, had eggs, banana, chai. Room was spacious, clean, good working AC, wifi, TV. Hotel right off Marine Drive so perfect for strolls and as a base to go exploring. Definitely recommend this hotel.

I think I read in the comments or somewhere else that there was a rooftop area for breakfast but we were just told about 1st floor area. There was meant to be a cashpoint on site but I did not see it.

First and foremost, the exceptional staff left a lasting impression. From the warm and friendly welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable and well taken care of. Their genuine hospitality truly made me feel like a valued guest.

The bed sheet provided in the room, while clean, didn’t quite meet the level of elegance that the rest of the accommodations exuded. It would be wonderful if this small detail could be elevated to match the overall high standard of the hotel.

A great location near Marine Drive and Churchgate Station and a 15 minute walk to Gateway of India. The bedroom was spacious and clean, the staff are wonderfully friendly, the Indian/western breakfast great value. Before this Feb 2024 trip we were there preCovid and the rooms have been smartened up since then. If/when we are next in Mumbai this would be our choice for a reasonably priced hotel. It’s a very good value for money hotel.
