The Hotel was in a perfect location and the staff went out of there way to help us enjoy our stay.The twin room with sea view was spacious, clean and perfect for what we required.The roof top pool and bar were great with perfect views over Marine drive.The food in all restaurants was very good(a mixture of local cuisine and western food).I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Difficult to get a drink whilst at roof top pool and there was a confusion over a taxi to take us to the airport which was easily resolved but not what you want at 6am

The venue was in an excellent location. It was extremely useful for the key parts of Mumbai, all within good walking distance, plus right next to the sea - visible from the restaurant and when outside. It was a great place where I could meet up with a friend and easily explore the key parts of South Mumbai, in short distance, on foot. The venue was well run with a smart, stylish, kind of Indian/Asian chic interior. There was a stunning rooftop bar in the venue. My one regret is not being there for longer, to experience it more! It offered a beautiful drinks and food collection and stunning views over the sea for sunset. That day I was there, there was a beautiful sunset and I would have loved to do it again (and been there earlier). In fact, my friend, who was showing me around Mumbai, was the one who told me about the rooftop bar. The indoor restaurant, is also intimate and very nice. It has a near complete view of the sea. It has some outdoor seating, but this is always taken very quickly in the morning and I did not fancy getting up extra early on holiday! In both the restaurant and the rooftop bar, they offered very good dietary options. In particular, there were a number of Vegan options on the menu in the rooftop bar (although, I did not have time to have them as we were going on to dinner elsewhere) and in the restaurant, they made me a beautiful Oatmeal/Oatmilk porridge in the morning, which was delicious. Plus, they had a beautiful fruit selection. The room had all amenities, including a powerful shower and toilet, comfy, firm bed and good laundry service. I also liked the useful amount of shower and similar products and pressable bottles in the shower. There were also other items, such as a pen and pad, suitcase stand, fridge, comfy chair and other useful facilities and items. The room was a very good size. I would certainly consider this venue again, the next time I am in Mumbai.

The WiFi needs to be examined in the rooms. The WiFi worked very well in the restaurant, rooftop bar and entrance area. This was very useful in the mornings and evenings, when responding to messages or planning my day. However, due to the very patchy and limited (low) coverage in the room, I had to stay, downstairs, in the main entrance area by the front door, in the evenings, to send messages or make WiFi calls to family back home or for other activities (flight checkins, event bookings, etc.). This is something easy that can be looked at.

There was a particular event that we found very weird. In the middle of our stay we got waken up (not very nice since we were resting with a bit of Jet lag) with a call from front desk asking us to please come down to do a pre-autohorization deposit to cover our whole stay plus additonal possible costs we might incurre during it.... when actually we have already paid for the first night and left our credit card. It felt like if they didn't believe us that we will be able to pay at the end of our stay. If it wasnt for this incident, I would have rate them with a 10

Besides the location which is the best part...the staff are cordial and welcoming towards the guests. Having mentioned the personal event we even got upgraded to the sea view suite similar to our previous experience which was very kind on the part of the staff. the housekeeping staff too were punctual and responsive to our request

Similar to my experience and perception last time ...the buffet spread is not very enticing. The layout of the buffet spread makes you feel confused Additionally the staff at the breakfast duty either laid-back in their responses to the guests or just confused as to what needs to be done I feel that the breakfast venue could be shifted to their other restaurants on the upper floors

Our stay at the Intercontinental was a pleasant surprise with a lovely personalised experience. Fahad and the hotel staff were polite and very responsive to our needs as I was travelling with my parents who are seniors. They did not overpromise but assured me that early check in would be granted basis room availability. We arrived early and they not only made a room available but also gave us a surprise upgrade to a sea facing room ...the view of the ocean and large sized room made our stay memorable. The hotel doesn't have a spa, but we got complimentary foot massages in the hotel room with spa music et al. The other surprise element was the food...I was expecting standard 5 star hotel food, but the food was outstanding, especially their Bombay style tiffin. The breakfast spread was amazing with freshly squeezed juices (no canned/packages stuff) and a machine for fresh sugarcane juice! I loved that the property is cozy, has large rooms and the personalisation now make it one of my fav places to stay in South Mumbai :)

Practically everything.....the location of the hotel and the unbelievable hospitality of the staff. From reception to housekeeping to rakesh and friends at the Dome, breakfast and food at the restaurant....it was an experience that will be very difficult to forget....well done to everyone at the intercontinental. You have the perfect business model....your care for your visitors cannot be understated....a memorable stay!!!....will be back again and will most certainly talk about you to everyone in South africa.....God bless you guys!!

Absolutely nothing....

The room was spacious. The team of staff at breakfast service were very friendly and welcoming. Being greeted by them was a great way to start the day. The door staff and security team were also very friendly and helpful. Front lobby is very open and welcoming.

There are certainly aspects of room and facility cleanliness that could be addressed. There seems to be more surface cleaning than actually deep cleaning. I didn’t want to touch the inside of my room door as it had food other stains all over it. Also wallpaper bubbling and peeling off of walls in some areas. The front desk staff although helpful when engaged did come across as inconvenienced when asked for assistance. There was also something wrong with one of the elevators, the door kept opening and closing repeatedly before moving to the selected floor.

- Large room kept nice and clean. - Very good choice and variety of food at breakfast - compliments to all the chefs and cooking team. - Excellent staff in the restaurant especially Prerna who is exceptional in her level of efficiency and customer service. - In fact all the restaurant staff were good including Brijesh, Habiba and Avizo. - Staff on security/ at the front door are all very welcoming and helpful.

Bathroom is a little dated and could do with modernisation.

We were celebrating my fiancé’s birthday at the property and what an amazing property, location, rooms, staff Everybody was very kind, making everything very smooth and quick for us They went out of their way to make our celebrations special. Every request was fulfilled and how! Within minutes we would get everything we asked for Would like to give extra extra thanks to the entire team of Intercontinental Mumbai Raymond, Shruti, Vikas, Clarabelle have all served us and made our stay extremely memorable Already planning to re-visit very soon Thank you so much team!!!!

Morning breakfast buffet service was impeccable and very sweet staff but food was average.. didn’t like the taste of few things, that’s the only thing I can say which can be made better but even the live kitchen staff was very sweet to us
