Our room did not stink which was relieve (almost everything in mumbai do). The room was also pretty large in comparison with other hotels I have visited yet and was also clean. Staff at the hotel was always helpful and nice. I would like to stress that we even had a separate work room (desk with chair) in the separate room, which we really appreciated.

The swimming pool is parody, hotel bar is a scam (prices are insane even for europeans)...We were also not pleased with the dirty curtain in the bathroom (nothing terrible, but for the price I paid I would not expect it)....I would also aprreciate if the hotel would consider to write allergens on the labels at breakfast.

Good communication in advance. Proactive and generous response to our hassle with airport pick up. Staff were friendly, professional and efficient. Large selection of vegetarian foods on buffet breakfast and evening buffet. Large room with attached office room, very comfy beds and great shower. Very attentive and friendly house keeping staff Great side views of Marine Drive Great roof top pool and terrace with amazing views over the bay and city Thorough but friendly front of house security upon each entry.

Airport Pick up (organised in advance via hotel) was a no-show and we had to chase the driver up twice.

Hotel is lovely with great character. Excellent location in Colaba. Breakfast is fantastic and rooms good size, clean and had everything we needed.

Food and drink in hotel is silly expensive. Old English pub on site just empty with no atmosphere likely due to high prices. Allamanda roof terrace with pool being largely advertised but there is just nothing there. Pool was lovely but only 3 sunbeds, no parasols for shelter and staff started noisily dragging tables around at 4pm to set up evening eating area. Bar on roof was never open. Such a shame as it could be an amazing roof top area. Asked 2 young girls on reception if they could check us into our flight home and print boarding passes as these are required to enter Indian airports. They were most unhelpful and said ‘ oh no we can’t help with that’ . Luckily a slightly older lady appeared and took over and sorted for us.

We liked the views from the room and the dining area of the sea. The beds were comfy and the room was very spacious with everything we needed. We were delighted as the hotel kindly upgraded our room free of charge. The area was safe and the security at the entrance gave us a piece of mind. Everyone was checked and bags screen before entry. Excellent service! All staff were pleasant and kind.

I thought the breakfast was expensive and would have thought it should have been included in the price we paid for the room. We booked 3 days before we arrive though. Nonetheless, the breakfast was good and had a nice variety!

The architecture of the building was lovely in the foyer and the rooms were spacious and clean. The breakfast had a great selection with lovely sea views from the restaurant. The hotel bar on the ground floor is charming and the rooftop bar and pool area is the perfect spot for the sunset.

The decor was ever so slightly tired in the rooms, but it didn't bother us. Same goes for the roof top. It's not fancy but it's charming and a lovely spot to chill above the hussle and bussle of Mumbai.

The staff at the reception service are amazing and their treatment is wonderful a high level hotel and special thanks to the receptionist Rohan. We canceled the reservation and they returned the remaining amount in the reservation. Thank you to them The view is wonderful, the breakfast is very delicious the food is excellent the restaurant service is wonderfuland the price is reasonable ♥️ AISHAH ALHAQABANI

Everything, the location(near everything and we stayd here to watch the cricket at wankhede stadium), the roofstop swimming pool and bar/restaurant that was open evenings(beautiful) with wonderful food Geoffreys pub at the ground floor! We dit not do breakfast at the hotel so was not in the main restaurant. The hotel went above and beyond with adding a TV channel to our room to watch the rugby world cup semi final that isnt in the regular list of channels, Geoffreys also stayd open till 03h00 for the guests to watch the rugby, although they whould put the sound on for the rugby...so we watched the second half in our room.

Almost nothing. The rooftop restaurants prices are real expensive! But worth the location and atmosphere in gold.

The property was beautiful and exactly as advertised. We were upgraded to an executive suite upon check in and the staff in the reception, restaurant and doorman’s were absolutely friendly and helpful.

I was only disappointed that I could not use the pool facilities. Upon check in , the hotel was undergoing renovations on the rooftop and was closed to the guests. The next day , we arrived just after 5pm for shopping and asked the reception to allow us one hour at the pool and he would ask the manager but never got back to us. The hotel should advise guests in advance for planned maintenance so that we may look for alternate accommodation that we want to enjoy. We have paid an expensive rate to enjoy the facilities and make the most of the amenities, but however did not happen as planned. But everything else was exceptional and I would rate my stay 9/10.

+ They were able to welcome us in the middle of the night, that was a lifesaver! + We needed twin beds in the rooms and they were able to make it happen. + We asked for neighbor rooms and it was possible! We could also open the door between the rooms which was super convenient.

- This is a nitpick but I am not a fan of the mime paintings at the lobby, it gives off a weird vibe - On one of the rooms there was a cockroach in the toilet. We were able to flush it right away, but still not good - The rooms felt a bit too dry, I wish there was a way to adjust that

Would highly recommend staying here if you’re supposed to be around south Mumbai area. Nicely done hotel with a fabulous location (right at marine drive) and lovely views from the hotel. The hotel itself is nicely done and lovely rooms. The team very sweetly upgraded me to their suite and it was a large room with a side view of the sea which was very nice. The housekeeping staff was excellent and kept my room clean and spotless everyday. There are many options around the hotel itself for food and being a stone’s throw away from marine drive made it ideal to go for nice long walks and jogs along the drive. In a nutshell this is a highly recommended hotel and I thank the staff for making my stay very comfortable.
