Best decent priced hotel i've ever been to so far.Staff was very friendly, helped us with everything we needed.Yenik from the reception and Oki were very helpfull.I recommend this hotel to everybody.

it’s quiet, not to far to walk to main area, very clean hotel, rooms are spacious, bed comfy, great pillows, great pool, breakfast is cooked fresh for you, staff are fantastic, it was my birthday & they gave me a cake & flowers, highly recommended this hotel

A small boutique style accommodation with only 8 rooms set in beautiful gardens and pool area, rooms are spacious and staff are friendly and helpful. Couldn’t fault the accommodation, staff or breakfasts included in our room rate. The breakfast options were fantastic as well. We hired a scooter from the property and used this as our base for a week in Ubud, it was the perfect location to travel to from coast to coast and everywhere in between. If you plan to walk into Ubud central from here, don’t do it. We did on our first night only and it was a nightmare navigating heavy traffic with zero paths either side, a scooter or car is much safer.

The small road leading up to the property is just terrible. We travelled all over Bali on a hired scooter and experienced some shockers but getting to and from the property was via this road was the worst part of all our 500km plus travels around Bali.

Gorgeous clean and comfortable rooms that all seemed quite new. Our room opened up onto the pool which was great. The whole place looked just like the pictures, absolutely stunning looking over the pool at breakfast each day. One of our favourite breakfasts of our trip also with great pancakes. Food for lunch was also really good. It’s far enough away from the busy streets that it was super peaceful at night too. It was walking distance for us to the main strip but we often just ordered a grab scooter each, which was super easy.

We liked everything about this small property. The staff were all lovely and so welcoming. The room was spacious and super clean and everything was in great condition, you could feel they’ve chosen quality materials for everything. The place is located just outside the centre of Ubud, into a small alley, near forest and ricefields and its quiet, we slept so well. All in all we felt that we got really good value for money. We live in Bali and come quite often to Ubud and try many accommodations there, but we know already that for our next time we will come back to Bubu Suite.

Awesome staff, probably the nicest we have ever been :) Very nice pool, great free breakfast (you can choose fruit, drink and meal for your breakfast), and big and confy room. The food for lunch or dinner was also great and for reasonable prices, so we recommend eating here :) Also massage in the room was very good and the price same as it is in the city, Try. I recommend our room upstairs, definitely less ants than downstairs. What i would give a plus point, it is an air freshener set for approx. every 30min, so your room is fresh and smell great all the time, i love this kind of details. Also, we got the anti mosquito electric thing which was super useful :) Thank you for the stay :)

The location has a minus point from us, not the hotel itself - you need a scooter in this part of Ubud, the traffic in Ubud is absolutely crazy and it is not very safe to walk on full roads without designated space for walking. There are too many dogs in this part of Ubud, so if you are afraid of them as much as I am, we definitely recommend either calling a Grab car or a scooter to pick you at the hotel. And be ready for a lot of ants in Bali, it is not the fault of this accomodation, the hotel is great. :)

Absolutely loved the place! The reception and pool area was so beautiful, and so representative of the idea of "a villa in Ubud, Bali". It does not directly face a rice terrace, but it is set in a hilly area, which is very classic to the Ubud area. The yoga shamla was very beautiful and very cute, and the vegetation around and within the property was so lush and beautiful too. The floor to ceiling windows that open to the balcony face the morning sun, and that was so refreshing and good for the soul. I loved sitting at the little balcony chairs and table to take my morning coffee and tea, while enjoying the morning sun and listening to the songbirds they keep on the property. As for the food, we enjoyed dinner there two nights out of four, after hard days full of adventure. Many thanks to the staff for such homely and delicious meals.

The room was a little dim after sunset, but that is to be expected for Balinese accommodations. Perhaps I'll bring a USB light (or several) for my next Bali trips.

Location, short walk to central Ubud

We were on the second floor and our room was spacious with lots of space for our luggage and belongings. Bathroom had a bathtub and shower with counter space. Balcony had a table and chairs with a nice view. The free breakfast was good but the coffee was not the greatest. Pool was nice with towels and lounge chairs around it.

Side road to the property was a bit narrow and bumpy by car and scooter. At night, you definitely need a flashlight when walking. The shower head was oddly high and the water pressure was not the greatest so made for washing longer hair a bit tough and time consuming. No hot water a couple times we showered.

One of the best hotels we stayed in during our travels (and we've been to a lot of hotels). It's a quiet and beautiful place with a green big garden (we even met a monkey in the garden). The pool is great, clean and has such a good view. The rooms are really big, clean and the bathroom was amazing. Also the balcony was really big and beds really comfortable. Housekeeping was also great. Breakfast was absolutely amazing!!! We could choose between different versions of breakfast and I had by far the best banana pancake in my whole life. Also the other food was so nice! Staff is really friendly and helps you with everything. Location is also really good, it's quiet and not as busy as in the city. We walked the way to the center at least twice a day, some days even more. It's a 20-30 minutes walk but no problem at all (you wont find sidewalks in Bali anywhere so thats normal). You can also call a grab for 2 Euro. If I will be in Bali ever again I will definitely come back. It's a great place for a vacation in bali or for a stay during your travels in Ubud. Can highly recommend!!
