everything, its a wonderful hotel and oasis in the middle of bali caotic calm. food is quite good, the pool area is a paradise, spa arrangements and bath was lovely, a dream. i cried when I arrived 😍😍

in front of the hotel pool, at the other side of the field are doing some huges constructions (other hotels or houses) which actually doesnt allow you to calm, its quite noisy. its a pity as you cannot really be calm at the pool during the day as a huge construction noises are taking place. the hotel cant do anything about it and I would recommend to go anyway. all bali is being on construction so you probably also will find this somewhere else. we had a nice bath during the night. the massage that we booked at the hotel was not the best. the hotel is not in the center or accesible by walk from ubud. this is important to know before comimg. they offer a private free shuttle every hour.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, the staff is super friendly, the food is tasty. The resort is situated in a beautifully landscaped garden. The hotel is offering a shuttle service to ubud downtown.

Not something the hotel has any influence on but currently there is a large construction site opposite the premises and unfortunately there is regular noise of hammering and drilling. Of course this will be temporary but when we had a lovely massage the ambiance of tranquillity and peace was heavily compromised.

The room (surga) was very spacious, luminous and beautiful, the picture doesn't do it justice (in a good way.) The design and layout was well thought out, with many little useful things available (purified water bottles / kettle / complementary treats / cutlery / mosquito repellent / umbrellas / etc.) The view to the gardens from the balcony was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was delicious and the whole staff was extremely kind and professional (Kadek, Enik and Dian were awesome, super helpful. Thank you for all your support and guidance, ladies!) Loved the pool and breakfast area as well, relaxing but also equipped for working there if wanted. The shuttle service was great as the hotel is far from the center. The good part of the distance though is that you could really rest and feel relaxed here away from all the noise and pollution. Also, there are plenty of options to have some food around if you were caught up by the rain indoors. It was a great stay. I really enjoyed it and would definitely like come back!

Minor things: as it was my first time in Bali/Ubud, the distance from the center was sometimes an issue to move around with more freedom (but the shuttle service helps a lot if you don't have an app for the taxis.) It is missing a roof protection between the kitchen and the breakfast area, and during the rainy season the staff needs an umbrella for walking less than a meter with the food to avoid having it all spoiled/wet by the strong rain. It is an unnecessary stress for the service in my view, so I hope they will improve that soon. Otherwise, it is a lovely space and they have done great. :)

My family of two adults and two teenagers stayed in a two bedroom villa which was a perfect setup for us. It had a large communal lounge, kitchen and dining area, as well as a private garden with water features. This was a great space for us to relax in when we weren’t out doing an activity (there are loads to choose from in the area) or spending time in the pool. The included breakfast was excellent and the menu for lunch and dinner had good options. All of the staff that we interacted with were very professional and the reception staff were very helpful in booking activities.

Everything was superb.

We loved staying here. The staff were exceptionally helpful. We wanted to visit a few places in Ubud that required prior reservation, and we didn't have any, but the lovely lady at reception (I have forgotten her name) called around and got us a booking. Nothing was too much trouble. The suit was very clean, quiet and peaceful. The staff at the restaurant were also very accommodating. We will definitely be staying here again. We had to wait a long time for a cab at one point, but this was not the suit's fault. My husband has a tattoo appointment, and one of the staff members was kind enough to give him a bike ride to the tattoo shop when they noticed he was waiting for a while. They also organised a cab for me to meet him there. (same lady as above).

Loved Calma and the outlay of the room with a little private deck to watch the sunrise! The restaurant and pool area was great. Also had a lovely massage. The property was very well maintained and clean. The staff were exceptional.

I usually pay a little more for accomodation just to have a good matress but the beds were hard as unfortunately and we woke up a little sore. This was the only fault I could find otherwise everything else was great.

The breakfasts were great. The views from the pool were cool. Staff was kind and helpful. Kids liked the open bathrooms (private). Small and intimate hotel.

Breakfast not offered early enough. Officially starts at 8 am but sometimes they were able to accommodate 7:30-7:45. Construction going on near spa so not relaxing until after 5 pm or so.

Everything about my stay at Calma was all I’d hoped for and more. From the moment I arrived, until my departure, I loved noticing and enjoying all that it offers. The loveliest and most helpful staff (Dian especially!), the beautiful aesthetics - from the buildings right down to the smallest of details, the blend of traditional and contemporary features, the restaurant offerings, and relaxation area, ambient music and the day spa services. I will plan to return with family, with friends, and solo. This is also a great location for close proximity to town, yet far enough away to feel calming and serene after sightseeing, shopping etc.

The care and attention afforded us by the staff was way better than we ever could have expected They all made our stay relaxing and satisfying - 10+ Our Villa was charming and contained everything we needed. Beautiful, well kept gardens. Excellent food.

A few things that are endemic in places like Bali, for example lack of handrails on steps. However if you wish to travel in and enjoy other places and cultures you must accept they have different standards to ours

- I liked my room style and the size of it. It was perfect. - I liked the bathtub and bathroom. Really pretty. - The staff was super friendly and helpful. They spoke English pretty good. - I absolutely loved the swimming pool. What a stunning view. - I loved that I could order a flower bath to my room. The price was pretty cheap and it was beautiful.

- The thing that you put a shower head in the bathtub needed to be fixed. - A lot of bugs in the bathroom. - The bedroom was a bit smelly. Smelled like dust. - I wish there were more options of food at the restaurant. - The parking lot was so mall for cars or taxis. - The bed was a bit hard and the bed sheets was a bit smelly.
