The photo on booking.com didn't capture how beautiful Junjungan Ubud Hotel and Spa is. We interacted with really kind and patient staff there. I want to thank Sri for her kindness, Agung for her excellent service, and Ngurah for his professionalism.

The hotel oozes Balinese charm; beautiful with large rooms and the kindest, most caring staff you could hope for. Food and service are exemplary and we took advantage of the complementary shuttle service in to the centre of Ubud and back at night. On the last night we had a dripping AC unit and the staff could not have done more to help us - beautiful hotel; beautiful staff.

It is tough to moan when so much has gone well - so I do this only for the benefit of future future guests: the hotel is on a straight piece of road, where drivers can finally put their foot on the pedal so the road noise can be challenging (make sure you take earplugs). Wi-fi is also patchy.

Our hotel room overlooked the rice fields, and the views from the balcony as the sun was setting was absolutely stunning. The staff were attentive and our requests were all met including for car and trip bookings. We made our own itinerary for a trip to the north part of Bali and they had a driver ready to take us. The free minivan into the centre of Ubud was quick and they dropped us off and collected us when we wanted. The breakfasts were excellent.

Only little things. Their eftpos machine didn’t work when we went to pay for the hotel.

I was travelling with my daughter and stayed for a week in this lovely hotel. Unfortunately I fell and when the manager saw my cut knee she couldn't do enough for me. She cleaned it, got me ice and organised the doctor visit. Everyday after, her and her amazing staff would ask how I was. Their attention kindness and empathy I have never experienced anywhere else. I really appreciate it. That's the best feature of this hotel. The incredible staff. They help you out with anything you need and always with a smile. The surrounding area is so beautiful, rice paddies to look out on from your balcony is so relaxing. We had a really lovely time. Thank you so much from Ella and Brona.

We loved everything

I loved the the intimate feel and the staff or so kind. They go above and beyond to meet your needs and also respect your space. My room was just like the photos and the view of the rice fields was beautiful. I appreciated that it it outside the centre of Ubud and there was a 1 free shuttle for drop off and pick up.

quiet and comfortable room overlooking padi field. staff are very friendly and helpful. Feel warm as there is handwritten welcoming postcard place on table. room is very comfortable, cooling enough with fan, I sometimes not even turn on the aircon. afternoon tea is simple with local food, very delicious. there is free shuttle to and from Ubud Palace upon request. some eateries nearby the hotel within walking distance. a good place for quiet time. Spa is nice.

not enough hot water for bathtub

very friendly staff, very accommodating

bath wasn’t clean, I mentioned a few times to staff and asked how the clean as the grime was very visible. I even demonstrated to two members of staff that there was grime and scrubbed it to show them it needs to be cleaned properly. location is quite far from market but the shuttle bus was a life saver however it was frequently late when it rained - I was left waiting over half an hour 3 times.

Everything.. It was simply one of the most memorable stay of my life. Particularly service of the staff. Those are some of the best people. Food too is ❤️

-Perfect and big rooms, comfortable beds, very clean, view on rice terras from the balcony -Very kind and helpful staff -We had shuttle service to Ubud center, which was very handy -Good food in the restaurant: I had a lovely nasi goreng kampung with typical Balinese seasoning

The hotel is not new but well designed and very well kept. Our room (studio2) was very spacious and cosy, and the bed very comfortable. breakfast a la carte was good. The staff was very kind and professional. Overall, we would come back.

Wifi working but a bit slow.
