We stayed at the 3 bedroom villa with private pool. Excellent open space design with a lot of tasteful balinese details. I really loved the architecture and design of the place! Large bathrooms with large wardrobe and very large private pool. On site restaurant serves very tasteful food and all meals including breakfast can be served in the room. Breakfast a la carte with sufficient options and quantity. Very friendly staff. We also enjoyed lunch and dinner very much! Two very nice shared pools in the resort. The Spa is small, but private and very nice; very good massage. Gym basic and bit too hot. We enjoyed our stay very much despite some minus points and would recommend this resort.

- bit secluded from Ubud, due to trafgic much longer drive than expected, also not really walkable; - hotel offers shuttle service only 3 times a day and not in the evening, but arranged additional at extra charge; - out of a 4 night stay, private pool was not usable for 2 1/2 days, probably should not have been used the first days as well…; - lot of stairs to climb and longer walk from lobby to room, so maybe not recommendable for guests that might have trouble with such; - matress not too comfortable.

No information about walking or hiking routes. The beauty of Ubud is in the hidden green areas.

Everything was absolutely perfect! We stayed in the Hill Villa and it was beautiful! We were surrounded by tropical nature with a beautiful pool. Breakfast was marvellous, fresh and delicious! We thank the restaurant team for all the delicious breakfast,lunches and diners! We all had a massage at the spa and the team was very sweet. We highly recommend the “Chakra Dahra” massage, it is really worth it! It was definitely the best massage of our life. A big thanks to the reception team, we felt welcomed and taken care of from the beginning until the end, they made our first time in Bali so much more special than we expected, we have no words for it! Thank you so much for your professionalism but all also for your kindness. Special thanks to Joni and Mohammed for being so patient and caring during our tours! location and hotel excellent, stayed in a bamboo villa and would highly recommend. Would definitely return.

Breakfast was very good but disappointed in wine selection with dinner. Very limited selection of not great wine. Would have eaten at hotel more frequently bar for this fact particularly as traffic into Ubud town centre gridlocked a lot of the time.

My family and I stayed at the 2 bedroom Hill villa and it was the most amazing experience. As many of the reviews mention, the staff here are an absolute delight and we instantly felt so comfortable and well looked after. Shout out to Sudarma, Choki, Depi and Chef Putu for making our stay so special. We enjoyed breakfast every morning and even tried out floating breakfast in the pool. Because it was so hot, it was such a treat to take a dip in our own private pool as well as use the shared pools. It wasn’t too busy at the time of year that we went so it felt like we had the resort all to ourselves. Besides a day trip to explore Ubud and some time exploring the city we mostly stayed at the resort to relax and eat. Well-maintained and beautiful garden and surrounds - it really felt like a tropical jungle escape. There’s so much more to this special place and I don’t have enough words to describe it all - just that, you should definitely stay here. I’ll be recommending this place to all my family and friends and hope to be back one day soon.

We stayed at 3 different 5 star locations in Bali and this place was the best! It was very relaxing, secluded, clean, staff was awesome! Sadarma, was the villa supervisor, in which treated our family like celebrities, very nice and personable! Anything we needed was very quick. Definitely recommending to others that are going to stay in ubud and when we come back, we will stay here again! We had a family of 4 and got to stay in Joglo 1, the best they have. if you can get this, definitely worth it.

Wasn’t within walking distance of the city, but we would get the free shuttle or pay a few dollars for a taxi.

Purist Villa was a great place to relax and recharge!! The staff were extremely friendly and rendered excellent service. All the staff ( reception, spa, housekeeping and drivers) were all wonderful, helpful and accommodative to our requests. To top the experience was the high quality food at the at the resort’s restaurant, Balisimo Cafe, a good option of local and western cuisine with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. We would like to express a special thanks to Yuli , who was very friendly and provided great service for 3 nights at the cafe. We left feeling wet rested and pampered😀

The property had two common pools in addition to the private pool at the villa. Lovely landscaped gardens. Super friendly staff, and a excellent restaurant for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea & dinner. The Purist Villas provided free daily transfer into Ubud, but if you want to keep your steps up, you can walk into Ubud centre within 20 min.

The villa had two air con units plus two ceiling fans, however at times they were unable to cool the villa.

Two bed villa, with a private infinity pool. Free water and complementary snacks and drinks inc. beers. Food and breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Ample room for each of us to have space. Shared shower and bath but spectacular as it’s indoor/outdoor. Rooms and bedding very comfortable. View from the villa is that for the forest, you feel the sense of being surrounded by nature and this helped us to relax even more away from the hustle and bustle of other places in Bali. Staff all very friendly and super helpful. Nice touches like chocs and notes on the bed every night. Really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend for location as it’s a 5/7 min ride away from central Ubud.
