The villa was absolutely gorgeous: air conditioned, lots of amenities (conditioner!), and a private pool. We loved how attentive and welcoming the staff were. I have dietary restrictions and they specially made an anniversary cake with me in mind and welcome design on our bed for our first day. It was very easy to get and use the free hourly shuttle, even if sometimes crowded, and the food and spa were very good. They also provided a jug of mineral water, which was a top convenience for someone who needs a lot of water!

The food/drink, spa, and transportation services, albeit in very professional and warm settings, were a little costly compared to other hotels and spas we came across of a similar calibre. Bogo happy hour was good value. We chose to go to a nearby convenience store for portable water, alcoholic drinks, and snacks the rest of the time.

The place is so lovely and beyond our expectations. Swimming in the private pool makes us relax. Our villa has two rooms in two floors. We can chat with our friends at the living room, and return to our home upstaire without dirstrubing our friend. The amenities were prepared in two rooms including two minibar, two boiler.

One salak prepared on the table of living room was corruption and smell bed. It might be there for a long time due to no one eats it for many days. We misunderstood the breakfast menu and ordered too much, but this is our problem. Luckly, we ate all of them without any waste. If the waiter can hint us, that would be great.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Dwaraka! The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff was very welcoming and helpful, breakfast was very tasty and with plenty of options to choose from (we loved the dadar gulung 😍), the pool is great to relax! The location is a bit farther from Ubud center, but the hourly shuttle from the hotel made it very easy and convenient to reach the main areas of Ubud. The welcoming foot massage was a nice add-on which made the stay even more enjoyable.

This was the best hotel we had during our honeymoon. The room was so big, clean and comfortable, we never wanted to leave! Every day fresh cookies and a small fruit basket were provided. Also, the bathroom has very good toiletries, including also bath salts and bubble bath solution. You can choose to add some extras to your stay, like a romantic candlelit dinner or the floating breakfast. We chose the floating breakfast on our last day, and it was one of the highlights of our stay. The shuttle service to Ubud is very punctual and useful. One day we tried to brave walking from Ubud to the hotel, which is feasible, but be mindful of the heat! The staff was attentive and spoke excellent English. The breakfast was exceptional, and the hotel even provides a continental breakfast takeaway option in case you go for a Mt. Batur sunrise hike. Another highlight for us was the complimentary tea service, which featured also a small sweet treat that changed every day.

Having to leave!

Very beautiful private villa in a traditional balenese style. Great design, furniture, and layout. A lot or space for everybody. Well maintained territory, very green, beautiful swimming pool. Decent breakfast (food is okay but lacked variety), great coffee. It is a walkable distance from the ubud center with a few decent places to eat in less than 10 mins walking distance.

Our villa was adjusent to a local house where people keep chicken. One rooster was especially loud, staring his songs at 4 am. every morning. I had to use earplugs to sleep. But I guess there's not much the hotel can do about the loud neighbors. It's Ubud, after all.

Location is almost 2km from Ubud center, and is nice and a good place to stay.

Good situation, in the north of Ubud, not far from the center (with hotel’s free-shuttle). The nice and kind staff have made our stay enjoyable.

Nevertheless, the hotel standards were disappointing : chaotic wifi, uncomplete room cleaning, extremely long service at breakfast restaurant. On top, Restaurant quality was deceptive for its expensive price, while you can find 5 min away one of the best restaurant of Ubud, with cheaper prices, better quality and atmosphere.

The villa is very beautiful and comfortable! We had a plunge pool for ourselves and a bath tube outside, which made our stay very relaxing! The location is also beautiful! Next to nature and without the sounds of Ubud city center. It was the perfect relaxing getaway.

Our room smelled a bit moldy and for that reason we left our doors open through day and night, which also invites insects in. We also think that the insect net around the bed should be properly washed often.

Decor of the whole premises including rooms was fantastically maintained and clean, the peaceful balinese feel was exactly what we were after in Ubud. The included A la carte breakfast was fantastic, and unlimited. The location was great, only a 15 minute walk into the centre of Ubud, or you could catch the complimentary transfer from the hotel. Would stay again!

The pool, especially the on in Villa was VERY cold. The Villa's also are not very private (just something to keep in mind).
