Gana Hotel & Restaurant

Staff were amazing. Breakfast tasty & included juice and coffee/tea. We had four rooms and most days we felt like we had the hotel to ourselves. It was a a magical find with an old Bali feel. We loved it.

They were building a hotel next door and sometime you could hear the construction noise. The neighbours peacock made an early morning noise, but it wasn’t that bad.

Breakfast was fantastic, perfect location, not too close to the party scene but close enough to everything ubud has to offer.

Music was loud from other venues on Friday and Saturday nights but quieter by 11. The restaurant only does breakfasts, can’t even get a drink by the pool at other times.

Bath+shower in the room. Long swimming pool. Staff of the hotel are amazing. Ponds with fishes. Location. pretty good Wi-Fi

Gana H & R is the best place I've stayed in Ubud. Helpful and smiley staff, clean and spacious room, pretty garden with a nice pool. The hotel is in the city center, so you can walk to many attractions.

I had food posioning the entire time from eating at a local cafe, the staff were very respectful and responsive to my needs, water, toilet paper, even delivered a smoothie to my door that was ordered through Grab. Place is clean, comfortable and shower had good pressure and hot water which I have struggled to find at similar nearby. Will stay again.

From the moment you walk in the staff greet you with warm smiles and kindness. Any requests that you may have the staff will be more than happy to help you with. In a location with great restaurants around it. Very good value for the property. There was construction next door during our stay from 8am-5pm but then why would you be in Bali and not be up that early so was no problem. Would highly recommend for any guests.

Staff are very friendly, we were able to check in 2 hours early and were greeted with a complimentary juice while they checked our room was ready. Rooms were clean and we had a very large balcony. Staff were able to organise transport to travel to the port which was helpful.

The staff was very friendly. Location is close to many amenities, less than 15 minutes by motorbike to reach destinations such as Ubud market, monkey forest and Campuhan ridge walk. When not going anywhere, many different restaurants, cafes and food stalls are just a stone-throw away.

During my stay, the construction next door was a bit disturbing. I was on a vacation and wanted to wake up a bit late. But it was difficult with workers started their work well before 8 a.m.

Breakfast was lovely. The staff were so friendly, made me feel right at home. Fantastic location and the place itself is beautiful and peaceful.
