The hotel is in a stunning location in the middle of the jungle but is also very well connected to Ubud thanks to the free shuttle, which makes it peaceful but also not isolated. The Spa is a bit expensive but therapists are great and probably we had in there our best massages of our stay in Bali. The kindness of the staff and their general attitude was outstanding. Everyone in the staff from the restaurant to the Spa was just so lovely to interact with. They also had a great service recovery and made up for a few little problems during the stay.

Being in the jungle and so close to the waterfall makes it very humid in the room (although probably it didn’t help that we had rain the first few days). We found the Villa to be a bit overpriced for what you get and cleaning standards for the room and the pool in the Villa could be improved.

One of the most comforting Zen experiences I've had where there's never a dull moment. We stayed here for 3 nights and there was an activity or a dinner performance planned for each day... Everything from their restaurant to rooms to spa, pool to touring the property touched our heart. The location is out of the world...in the middle of the jungle beside a waterfall and river. Special thanks to Saiya who was an amazing host, she helped us relentlessly with our Gili bookings and had some amazing stories to share . Also Ayu ( both ladies), Sang Aya and Wayan had been extremely warm and helpful ... Loved the personal photographer, the infinity pool, margapati dance and definitely recommend the food( Fillet Mignon, Nasi Goreng is truly tasty) and spa here!

The staff were extremely friendly and attentitive, taking the time to personally get to know us and learn our names. Every member of staff was very friendly - Doni and Nani as well as a number of others whose names we have unfortunately forgotten. The events that were put on in evenings were brilliant and gave you an opportunity to learn and understand Balinese culture. The shuttle service into the centre of Ubud was really helpful. The hotel is located close enough to Ubud to enjoy what is has to offer, but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility of the area and be removed from the busy centre. The room, spa and facilities were lovely.

It would be helpful if the shuttle service into Ubud could start earlier. Also, if there was yoga in the late afternoon aswell as morning.

the employees, the amazing food at Kepitu Restaurant and the entertainment and thematic dinners including halal meals, nothing beats this after a day of excursions, walking around the hotel with every step being immersed in nature, which is so good for your mental health. Our room had a balcony which overlooked the jungle and we could hear the sound of the waterfall, which was so relaxing to sleep to. The shower was amazing with all of the amenities. The perfect Balinese massage with the sound of the waterfall. How romantic the hotel is and adults only. The hotel arrangements for transport. Front desk were exceptional in meeting all of our requests. We have travelled all over the world but the Balinese experience received from the employees have been first rate we have left the Kayon resort feeling relaxed and refreshed with treasured memories.

The dining experience was a delight and I will write a separate review for the Kepitu restaurant. The guided tours and excursions were well-organized and led by knowledgeable guides who enriched our understanding of the destination's history, culture, and natural wonders. Beautiful rooms and view! The little extra benefits ie complimentary short massage and afternoon tea were lovely. Enjoyed breakfast with a big selection and delicious. Plus the free morning shuttle to Kayon Jungle was great. All the staff were exceptional and very helpful.

Simply amazing! Kayon exceeded all expectations! It's small and cozy with great pool and absolutely incredible staff who spoilt us and fulfilled all our desires. The housekeeping staff were super fast in making up the room and the turn down service was great (thank you to Susilo and his team!) The food was excellent and they accommodated my allergies without any problems. I want to come back to Kayon again and again! Thank you to the management and all staff for making our experience unforgettable!!!! The NY party was sensational!!! The location is superb and the sound of the river was so beautiful.

The rooms have a slight mouldy smell but it didn't bother us too much. Maybe a good clean of the walls would help to get rid of the smell.

We were 4 days at the The Kayon Resort. It was amazing. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. They made us feel so special. During our stay we booked the "Day of healing". It was a new and cool experience. Thanks to our healer and Yoga teacher Ketut and the girls from the Serayu Spa Mira and Odra. Every night they have an entertainment program (live music, Bali dancing show etc). The singer Felix (BimBim) has a voice like John Legend - unbelievable. There is a free shuttle to Ubud (10min) every 2 hours and free bikes to rent (for a ride to the next village) - very convenient. The housekeeping team from Susila (Manager) did a great job twice or sometimes 3 times per day - excellent. The whole staff from the restaurant and the reception was incredible, everyone knows our names, they fulfilled every wish. And the food was delicious in the restaurant. The entire trip at The Kayon has been phenomenal, intricate and romantic. An absolute recommend to anyone considering staying at the resort. 1. The breakfast and dining options at in-house Kepitu restaurant was truly splendid and energizing. Options on the menu are diverse, covering both local and international cuisine. Food is scrumptious, beautifully cooked with local flavors and aroma bursting in your mouth 2. The resort is nicely situated on a hilly setting within the heart of Ubud and is half hour drive to the city center 3. Something that differentiates the resort from the rest is the unparalleled service and is top notch. 4. Rooms are spacious and sparkling clean with a large in-villa pool. Staff is very attentive to smallest of details and everything is engineered for pleasure and privacy of the guests
