Just beyond the expectations. I had a chance to stay 4 days at kayon valley. Breakfast, food, room, service, smiling faces, view, coctails, spa actually everything was soooo perfect. You are in a magical jungle Just outside of the Ubud (10 min by car) I would like to thank all the employees specially Nano and Iko for this magical experience. Also I had to find a chance to hire best driver in Ubud - Dek Tra for a day trip around temples🙏 I would love to come back here

Wonderful staff, super helpful, kind and make every effort to make your stay enjoyable. Everyone from the reception staff, housekeeping, grounds staff were excellent. Special mention to the entire restaurant staff who were absolutely amazing, especially Oka who knew our coffee preferences by day 2, went out of her way several times (providing us an extra takeaway coffee as we were rushing to meet our driver) and who was so lovely to talk to. The rooms are beautiful with amazing views and the outside private pool area is just gorgeous. The gym was also super clean and new.

Two things we would change. 1. The number of "ads" around the hotel for extras took away from the scenery and cheapened the experience. 2. The main pool hours are far too short. During prime daylight hours in Bali, many people want to go out of the hotel. Closing the pool at 6 pm (before sunset even) is silly.

This is the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in and it’s not just because all the amazing facilities it offers or the beautiful views, but mostly because of the very welcoming staff. It is perfect for honeymooning and I’m so happy I booked it. We had a perfect week, with amazing dinners at the KePitu restaurant where the fantastic Intan made sure we had everything we needed (thank you for everything, especially for the terrific romantic dinner!😍). They also have stunning live performances every evening where we could dance along and had so much fun. Morning activities such as yoga or walks through the rice fields (thank you Rusdi for a memorable experience!) are a must do if you stay here. You must also try some of the massages at the Serayu spa, they are out of this world. The room was also great, we had our own swimming pool with amazing views of the jungle, where we could enjoy a floating breakfast and stunning flower decorations. The main pool is also very nice and almost never crowded. We also visited their sister hotel, The Kayon Jungle Resort, but we were happy we booked The Kayon Valley because it is more quiet and you can relax and enjoy a romantic getaway in a peaceful place. The hotel also has a great location and it offers a free shuttle to Ubud. They can also arrange any trips you want in the area (thank you Coco for having a great time on our tour!). I will again mention the staff, as they truly made us feel special on our stay there. There were so many people there eager to help us that I could not remember everybody’s name sadly. However, thank you Cok Oka, Niki, Dwi Indah, Agus, Sujana, Emy and everyone else! We will never forget you! If we ever come to Bali again, there is no way we’ll stay in any other hotel but this!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kayon Valley Resort for my husband and I’s honeymoon, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. Surrounded by lush greenery and a surreal jungle overview, the atmosphere was truly enchanting. The food was exceptional, offering a delightful blend of local flavors that tasted organic and fresh. The room was clean, cozy and complete with a private pool overlooking the jungle canopy. It was the perfect place to relax and soak in the serene ambiance. The staff, including Gush, Ayu, Suwa, OkY, Asseh (not sure if I am spelling it right) and others whose names we regrettably don't recall, were incredibly attentive and caring. Their dedication ensured we not only enjoyed our stay but also got to immerse ourselves in the true culture of Bali. From their warm hospitality to their nurturing personality, every interaction with the staff left a lasting impression. As we were leaving, the team stood together, gifted us a teddy bear and gave us a beautiful, heartfelt goodbye to us. It's the thoughtful touches and attention to detail that made our stay so incredibly special. I highly recommend Kayon Valley Resort to anyone seeking an authentic and memorable Bali getaway.

Yogi and Sawar, the attentive staff members, went above and beyond to fulfill all our requests, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of remarkable. Their dedication and hospitality truly enhanced our experience, leaving us with unforgettable memories to cherish.

While the prices for transportation services to restaurants and airports appeared slightly higher in comparison to other resorts, this factor does not sway our decision to choose this excellent resort!

i love everything about this hotel - it is perfect private stay for couples who want to embrace the tranquility of Ubud. The highlight is the privacy and services - for privacy, the resort only has 22 separate villas, and no one can see inside your room, your yard or your pool. the resort is super quiet, allowing you to fully immerse in the zen of the Ubud jungle. Services are absolutely top-notch! everything is being taken care of. I am especially grateful for them to keep my afternoon tea until 6pm (original time is 3-5pm), and allowed us to enjoy the full night singing performance. last but not least, I also liked the room and main pool deco (very religious and local), the food (esp breakfast, widest variety I have ever seen), and the cleanness of the room and pool (no need to worry about mosquitos even though inside the jungle)

nothing! I just wished I could stay for longer!!! will definitely come back. however, mindful that this might not be suitable for those who want to be close to Ubud palace and the shopping area - even though grab is everywhere, traffic in Bali is horrible

Beautiful resort overlooking the valley. Very quiet , serene place with sound of nature & birds, surrounded by trees & flowers. Very nice Yoga place. Food was excellent and had wide variety of vegetarian selection. Staff yea over attentive and made sure we had whatever we asked for. They had special entertainment for CNY evening with local dance troupe to perform which was very nice. Checking in and out was very efficiently handled.

They offered many activities to entertain guests and to keep us busy with things to do... but the quality of these activities was not good. They should hire trained professionals to handle - morning yoga session, morning walk to the village walk. They can make it more interesting and knowledgable for the guests.

Beautiful property with fantastic views. Secluded intimate & private feeling. Quiet location. The staff was exceptional! They all acted like you were their only guest. They wanted to know your name & addressed you as so the entire stay. The staff take the resort to another level! Engaging with you in what you did & what they can help you with. They truly care & want to make your Bali experience perfect. Exceptional service special call out to Nano who was extra welcoming, prompt, engaged & takes Great Pride in his work!

Shuttle could be better if used on demand rather than schedule. I understand though that’s difficult being the limited number of guests that it doesn’t make the most sense.

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in and most definitely the kindest and most helpful staff I’ve met. We were made feel like home. The bed in our villa was really comfortable and the size of the villa was more than perfect for a couple (Jungle view pool villa). The people that work in this place is what makes it so great!

The paths to the villas are a bit steep and slippery when it rains so you have to watch out. But they provide buggy if you don’t want to walk. Prices for in-house services are a bit high compared to outside the hotel, but they offer all in one place.

We really, really enjoyed everything here. The promotional pictures of the hotel and the rooms are the same as everything seen, and truly what you see is what you get, this resort is like heaven. The resort is private and luxurious, and there are only 22 villas in the entire resort. Everything in your room, such as the pool and balcony, cannot be seen from the outside or from other rooms. With very few rooms, the whole resort is not crowded, and there is a huge public infinity pool with a great view that is not even used. This makes sense, though, as each villa has its own private pool, which is not very large but deep enough. The hotel breakfast is a la carte system, there are many kinds to choose from and the taste is very good. On the first morning of our stay, because we did not know much about it, we ordered a lot of food, but there was still no waste. The hotel has a convenient shuttle to the Ubud Center, which is ideal for shopping and dining at the bazaar. The hotel also offers a shuttle to another kayon hotel, kayon jungle resort, which offers free access to amazing pool even if you're staying in the kayon valley. The staff at the resort were impressive, friendly, sincere and welcoming, and there was a smile on everyone's face. On the shuttle from kayon jungle back to the hotel during our stay, we wanted to stop by the convenience store so we could pick up a few things, and the driver even took us specifically to a larger convenience store so we could pick up what we needed. And I left my swim trunks at the kayon jungle resort, and the valley resort picked them up for me. All in all, my family and I love this place very much and I will definitely come back again in the future.
