Our stay at Puri Andong Villa was nothing short of extraordinary. This spacious Balinese house, located just 15 minutes on foot from the heart of Ubud, is a paradise wrapped in an authentic Balinese mood, making it an ideal oasis of tranquillity and culture. The architecture of the villa beautifully encapsulates traditional Balinese designs. The family temple and the intricate details around the villa exuded a charm that is distinctively Balinese. Our room offered a stunning view from a balcony overlooking a serene pool, which turned out to be the perfect spot for a hearty breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, it was simply delightful. The scrambled eggs, Eggs Benedict, and the variety of exotic fresh fruits were tantalizing to our taste buds. Paired with the rich Balinese coffee, it was a great start to our day, every day. The cleanliness of the villa was impeccable. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every detail was spotless, reflecting the dedication of the staff in maintaining high standards of hygiene. The team at Puri Andong Villa was incredibly friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to share stories about the rituals and history of Bali. Watching them make the offerings and light the fragrant 'dupa' incense in the back garden was a wonderful insight into their culture. Moreover, after cleaning our villa each day, they would leave us a Balinese story, tied up with the three yarns used for the Tridatu bracelet, sparking our anticipation for the next day's tale. The location of Puri Andong Villa is also commendable. It's in close proximity to Ubud center, which offers a plethora of cafes, spas, live music venues, and cultural performances like the ones at Cafe Lotus. Also, the villa is just a stone's throw away from the Campuhan Ridge Walk, where you can watch the sunset paint the sky with an array of colors. For all these reasons and more, we extended our stay to 8 days.

It was like a haven in the middle of busy Ubud 💙 - When I booked, I was a little worried, since it was such in the middle of everything, but the reviews were so good, I decided to give it a chance. I am so glad I did! It's not a room, it's a villa with the highest roof I've ever seen and the most amazing headboards! There are only three villas in this hotel, by the way, so it's super quiet :) The staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. I celebrated my birthday while there and they wrote HAPPY BIRTHDAY in petal letters on the bed, they all arrived with a cake at breakfast, singing happy birthday, they were just awesome. Amazing service, quiet air conditioning, comfy beds, great internet connexion, cheap prices, seriously a not-so-hidden gem!

It's in the middle of downtown Ubud, so it can be noisy at night, however, they provided ear plugs for us, so it didn't bother us. There was nothing really that I really didn't like about the stay!

I didn't want to leave, I now when I've left, I want to come back. Friendly and hospitable staff, extreme cleanliness, great food, 24/7 support from the staff, huge room, amazing bathroom, location, pool. I loved every second I spent in there! Staff helped me find a driver with no problems. They suggested what I can do around in Ubud. They were genuinely happy for me, when I told them about my adventures. I happened to visit the villa during the Galungan Holiday, and I was invited to join the morning prayer and I am so so grateful for this experience! I truly felt like a queen while being there, thank you so much! I will come back!

We had a great stay in a double room and one of the suites. The hotel is well taken care of, rooms are nice and clean, there are two pools and a good restaurant that we enjoyed. As others pointed out, the staff is amazing. Especially Septia and Kadek made sure that everything is to our liking and they were always up for a chat and shared interesting things about Bali and Balinese culture. But also all the other employees whose names I don’t know were always really friendly and always had a smile for everyone. It was a wonderful stay at Puri Andong Villa!

The street going into Ubud Center was quite congested every day. Not a problem of the hotel and you can also not hear any noise in the hotel. It’s just an Ubud problem. The streets were just not build with all the tourists and cars in mind.

Get the villa! It looked and felt like being in a private village all your own. It was surreal. No noise, no disturbances, with a Pura on the grounds, it was a spectacular and magical experience. The villa itself was well done. The wood engravings placed all around the villa were mesmerizing. There was not a flaw anywhere to be found with the construction, small details like water dispenser, kettle, glasses, fridge and snacks were just great. The bed was super comfortable. The sheets, pillows and cover were high end, top notch and perfect. The toilet was very well done, clean, the jacuzzi looked new and was super enjoyable. The waterfall shower head with the immense water pressure was the star of the show for me. I LOVED IT. I hadn’t had such a greater shower in many months of traveling. The staff as per previous reviews are outrageously kind, generous and bend over backward to make your stay as great as possible. There was never anything but smiles all around. I can’t imagine anywhere as great as this property or again, THAT VILLA!

First of all, we really liked the staff. They are very helpful, kind, hardworking, and friendly—truly great people in every way. Additionally, the location is perfect, away from the crowds, peaceful, and quiet. As a honeymoon couple, we were given a lovely room, and the bathroom was amazing. There are two pools, and the place is very comfortable. The prices are very reasonable. We walked to Ubud center and explored the area without needing a car. Everything was wonderful. We are very grateful to the hotel family. If we come back, we will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend it to everyone.

They went above and beyond. Two nights before our stay at Puri Andong they informed us that there was an unexpected leakage in the room we were meant to stay in, and asked if it was okay for them to upgrade us to a new villa in their sister company for one night and then to transport us to Puri Andong Villa. We had agreed as we felt it was a good deal. Despite there being a couple of issues with transportation, such as the guy transporting our luggage to the car accidentally dropped my bag in the pond, it was overall a good experience. They did up the room beautifully including a bed design of two swans with lots of flowers. Location was perfect.

The property deserves to be 4/4.5 star rather than 3. It is immaculate and very well presented. The photos on the website don’t do it justice. I didn’t realise it is mostly hotel type rooms and service which we (myself and 19yo daughter) were very impressed by. The breakfast was delicious too. The location was great and even though on a busy road it is set further back so you can’t hear the traffic. It is near supermarkets and proper Money exchange places. We either walked or took a grab scooter to the main street and also to the rice terraces. I’d definitely recommend this property and would love to return!

This place is unbelievable, even by Bali standards. The villas are palatial to say the least - the room is large, the decor is luxurious, the bathroom is built on a separate basement floor and comes with a jacuzzi, there's a front porch attached to each villa where we had all our meals. I can go on and on about how impressive the rooms were, and we couldn't believe our eyes when we saw the price (<100 USD in Mar 2024). They have only 3 villas, so the staff is super attentive and leave no stone unturned. The location is perfect - not too far from Ubud market, and yet far away from the crowds. This was our #1 hotel find in Bali

Nothing significant to complain about really. The place is fantastic. We were mildly miffed about some residual dirt that came out of the jacuzzi taps for a while, but it was hardly bothersome in the larger scheme of things

The breakfast was very nice and so nice that we could order it the night before for a specific time the next morning. I just wish there was a bit more variety in the breakfast choices. The other food on the menu was great as well! The staff were very accommodating and kind and provided us a wonderful experience. The pool was also lovely!

More variety in the breakfast options, larger water bottles provided given we couldn't drink the tap water.
