I liked the staff , The room had air con. Nice pool .i didnt try dinner in the hotel it looked expensive. Nice breakfast,

I didnt like the price but cant fly abroad at the moment with my sick daughter, and need a break badly . I didnt like my keycards stop working on the 2nd last day, my room was a far walk from reception. Its a nice hotel but you would need a car or electric bike or scooter to get around. . breakfast was part of the price and i didnt have a option of refusing it , so lost some sleep getting up before 10am to have it. If the price was cheaper i wouldnt of got up . Up at 5am , 5 days a week for work

The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a one night stay which coincided with a birthday and a happy birthday plate on arrival in our room was a lovely touch thanks. The beds were very comfortable and a great size room for a family. The pool facilities are very clean and family friendly with huge changing area and plenty of showers. Big plus for us

Unfortunately some of the food during our stay was a letdown but the staff were understanding when we discussed it and they were obliging and other options were given without any big problem.

Most things about my stay (one night only). Room & bed were very comfortable, and staff were helpful & friendly. Bathroom was modern & everything was in good condition. Convenient for M6 west.

After lovely pasta dish, meal was let down by dessert. Rhubarb & ginger crumble sounded lovely but crumble topping was much too hard - way past crunchy, heading towards pebbles, and definitely a danger to teeth. Also, my room had connecting door to next one, and the soundproofing between the rooms was non-existent - I could hear my neighbour yawn...

Very nice hotel, staff are lovely and very welcoming on arrival. We ate at the bar, I wasn't overly impressed with the menu but ordered the burger was nice. Breakfast was delicious and great selection.

I would of loving to do more research on the hotel as I didn't realise the swimming pool was used for classes and open to the public. Was very busy and hard to relax as I was getting funny looks due to my swim suit, which was a basic bikini from penny's from older ladies lol. When we went for dinner as the restaurant got busy I felt our table got forgotten about, we asked for drinks and were left sitting looking at empty glasses and plates dor around 15 minutes, I also asked for the desert menu but that never arrived so we just paid and went around to supervalue for ice cream.

Having stayed at the Athlone Springs several years ago, I was delighted with the new warmth and ambiance- the hotel is maintained to a high standard. The room was large and airy-thanks to the provision of an A/C we were comfortable during the warm nights. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. There was a very good selection provided for breakfast - including creamy porridge. We were glad to avail of the evening meal which was equal to any restaurant in town and very fairly priced. The staff were excellent and professional whilst still being down to earth friendly and approachable even down to the cleaning staff who were lovely and dont often get enough credit. The food was excellent and reasonably priced and plenty of choice for breakfast

The only thing I didnt like and its not anyone's fault but I kept getting a smell of mushrooms out of the bathroom but it's not a complaint its just an observation

on arrival was told my room had been upgraded to bridal suite, spa bath, well needed after the day of travelling and work, facilities very good, staff very friendly, food excellent, room was extremely nice, very comfy bed and very quiet, no road noise (unless you had the window open of course) a fantastic place and one i will be using again on my travels........cant wait to go back

Check in was quick and simple, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. We had an amazing shower. The breakfast was fabulous with lots of gluten free options. The staff were very helpful and kindly went to get me some soya milk as there was none out. The pool was really wonderful and spotlessly clean. There are saunas and a jacuzzi too. (The leisure area opens at 6.30am in the week but at 8am on a Saturday). All in all a really wonderful stay in a great hotel with very helpful staff

The girl on receiption when we arrived is a credit to you. She helped us to book dinner . She was chatty and made a real effort to come over to us and check all was ok. She made us feel very relaxed. Her customer care was excellent. Also the bar staff and waiters and waitresses were brillant . Food was delicious.

Sorry to say our checking out experience was awful the girl on receiption looked like she didn't want to be there let alone check us out. Also she told us and another couple all shops in shopping centre were opened from 10 which she need to learn it is actually 12. So we checked out but had to wait around for 1 and half.

I booked a double room but was upgraded to the presidential suite. I had been travelling alot that day and was extremely tired by the time I reached the hotel so to get such an amazing room was unexpected but was delighted. I was able to fully relax in the jacuzzi bath and lounge in the living space enjoying a glass of wine in the bathrobe and slippers provided. I highly recommend the hotel.

The phone in the room didn't work correctly so I was unable to call down to reception. I had to call direct on my own phone to order room service. The remote control for the tv was a bit hit and miss and wouldnt work correctly. Other then these minor issues the stay was excellent
