Beautiful location excellent food and facilities room exceptionally comfortable but it's the staff that make it so great as they are very friendly and attentive .

This was the most relaxing, peaceful and comfortable stay we have had in years. There were so many thoughtful touches such as a birthday card in the room, treats in the room, a welcome drink and bottles of water for the journey home. This place is exceptional and doesn't try to take every opportunity to charge you extra, room service for breakfast has no charge! Such welcoming and friendly staff. I've already booked again for my husband's birthday.

Just peaceful and tranquil the staff were really warm friendly and welcoming. Food was great. Room was very comfortable. Shower was really good and a lovely welcome goody corner with welcome note on arrival. This really was a lovely touch and highly appreciated. People value that as it really expresses an above and beyond welcome and sends the message you are happy to have me! Also a welcome drink on arrival. Reception staff were really lovely and management present and chatting to customers. A really lovely stay.

No walk on site! I know the lake gets in the way ..!!!!! It is obvious walk is not possible along the extent of the shoreline!!

This hotel is an absolute haven of tranquility from the moment you step foot inside the door you cannot help but get lost in its ambiance the first such sensation being the immediate smell of a log fire then the location is simply wonderful with differing views of the lake at every turn, in store is the sublime pleasure of the amazing food from lunch or afternoon tea to amazing dinner. The breakfast is full table service and an absolute treat. The staff are without exception a pure joy to deal with . Overall a most wonderful place.

Absolutely nothing.

Incredible location and the decor and quality of finishes etc. was exceptional. The staff really made it for us though, there is a very 'make yoursel at home' vibe from all of them from the minute you arrive and we had good fun with the bar staff. The views were great and the food (we had breakfast, lunch and dinner and thoroughly enjoyed all 3), overall it was a fantastic stay and we will definitely go back.

The only downside was the heating in the room. We were in room 209 which was quite a spacious room with high ceilings so I appreciate it's a large room to heat. We had to manually turn on the heating and it was pretty noisy when it was on and didn't seem very efficient when on, but pretty much instantly got chilly if we turned it off. But in the grand scheme of things this was very minor and wouldn't stop us coming back at all.

The staff were amazing and what really make this place from the minute you arrive. They are so attentive and kind and really giving individualised treatment to each guest. Such a beautiful location, our room was fabulous, the food was delicious really high quality ingredients, well cooked. Great wine selection and helpful sommelier. We had a brilliant time from start to finish.

The stunning location immediately puts you in relaxation mode. The welcoming staff going above and beyond to make you feel at home. Bright spacious rooms overlooking the lake. Sunset is spectacular from any viewpoint. The dining experience was definitely a highlight from start to finish. The spa was the icing on the cake as we nearly had to be rolled out of the treatment rooms and infinity pool as the chilled out vibes were at level 10 😄

Very friendly staff a nice warm welcoming from staff on arrival. Premises is very clean well maintained was very cosy and a has a nice relaxing atmosphere. Service from staff was excellent great not be left waiting for service good to see they have enough staff and no staff member was unhappy because of been over worked.food is exceptionally good every bite was delicious nice size portions of very well cooked food I would highly recommend a stay here for any occasion. My wife had a spa treatment and described it has an amazing experience I will definitely return again for a relaxing break.

The rooms are gorgeous!! And the crisps and chocolate in the room I enjoyed :) the hot tub in the room was great, and the view, and that it's right next to a beauuuutiful lake!! The beds are also nice.

The food was not very good! And the waiters also. We spoke to a couple we randomly met later on a hike that also came from the wineport lodge and they said exactly the same thing: the accommodation is beautiful, but the food is really disappointing! Especially because they had high expectations because of a TV show
