This B&B was simply the finest my wife and I have ever stayed in! The location (Bunclody) was an amazing experience filled with polite and fun loving people. The accommodations at "Mon Petit" were exceptional in every way; clean, secure, peaceful, operational, and neat. The breakfasts, prepared by the host (Cathy), were very tasty and well prepared. But the most impressive part of our two week stay at Mon Petit Cottage, was the hospitality. Cathy and her husband Paul were nothing short of amazing! They weren't just simply warm and welcoming, they went above and beyond in every way for each customer who stayed there. During our two week stay, we witnessed Cathy and Paul comb the entire town (including the golf course) to locate a visitor's lost wallet, run guests to and from various locations (always on-time), offer local advice, give logistical support, cook amazing meals, ensure every request was attended to, and even offer accurate and insightful information of all the area activities and places of interest. In short, if you are looking for an amazing place to stay while visiting Ireland, look no further, Mon Petit Cottage is the very best you will find ANYWHERE! 5,000+ stars!

We were in Berna's Cottage for nearly 2 weeks and from the moment we entered the cottage it felt like home. The Cottage is cosy and perfect in every way. Cathy and Paul are perfect hosts and give you the feeling of a warm welcome when you arrive. The view from breakfast/Diner room is stunning and nice to start your day with.(and ofcourse the rest of the day) Bunclody is a lovely town with all needed for all that visit Berna's Cottage. Well, this is one of the rare occasions where the review system utterly fails. Our outstanding experience started with a very warm welcome in beautifully decorated, spacious and completely new rooms, complemented be a modern guest area. Enjoy the evening in comfortable chairs with the sun setting over the small mountain range and look forward to an extraordinary breakfast prepared to order with a smile. Bunclody is a lively village and certainly deserves more than just one night's stay. If you do so, and the breakfast menu calls for it, you might as well do a little world trip through the theme rooms. Good luck to the hosts Cathy and Paul this stay was a very positive outlier in the many B&Bs we stayed during our trips over the last couple of years.

It was a incredible experience. The host was super nice, explained everything perfectly, and also gave us some tipps, for the next stops of our journey. The rooms were brand new, super clean and very comfy. We had a french breakfast, which was created freshly from our host and what should I say, it just was incredible. Overall it was sad that our roadtrip only allowed us to stay one night, because we would have definitly enoyed more.

Fantastic hosts - Cathy, Paul, and Matthew - friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Fantastic location, fantastic accommodation, fantastic hospitality, fantastic breakfasts,and fantastic service. We had such a lovely time - modern, clean, and comfortable place.

Nothing - everything was great

Great host, Cathy was very friendly, and made our stay very comfortable. The rooms are like a 5 star hotel, absolutely stunning beautiful rooms. The breakfast was the best I've ever got on a trip, fresh fruit, cereal, full Irish breakfast and even salmon! The price here was cheaper than any other property at that time by a long way. Even the location is only a very short stroll from the town of bunclody. A very nice garden to relax on a nice day made our stay even better. I would highly recommend this property and will hopefully be back some time in the future.

Amazing hosts. A large, clean, comfortable room. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! A lovely town, plenty to do in the area. Breakfast was the best I’ve ever had in Ireland (hotel or B&B). Tasty, healthy, imaginative and well presented. If you are in the area and are looking for a place to stay - just book this one. You will have a great stay!

Everything, the theme of my room - the attention to detail. Host made me feel so welcome at at home!! The best nights sleep I have had in a long time. There were so many options for breakfast - I need to go back again to try them all. Everything was so fresh!!
