Breakfast and dinner were generous and delicious, with excellent options for my gluten free requirements. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable with gluten free options. After a tiring day it was great to be able to eat in the hotel.

There were a lot of stairs down to our room, and we had bulky luggage. Although the lift came up to our floor, we still had a steep flight of stairs to manage. We didn’t like the What’s App contact from our room to the front desk, and would have preferred to have a phone available.

It was a pity that our stay coincided with a heavily attended funeral wake that lasted substantially longer than had been anticipated by the Hotel. Also this coincided with a children's event and a major Womens' golf dinner so it was extremely busy especially for parking to find a space, and for having dinner in the main restaurant - we had eaten at The Smkehouse the evening before. Had we know on our arrival we would probably have changed our evening meal venues and switched them around.

Check in was super, the room was clean, a few marks in the Bathroom but looked like nail varnish so would be hard to remove. Every single member of staff was exceptional. The food in the restaurant was beautiful and well presented and food and drink was very reasonably priced.

There was a musty smell in one of the corridors, fortunately it didn't carry through to the rooms. There were a few handles missing of cupboard doors but nothing too off putting. When we first entered the room it was a bit chilly as the heating wasn't on but was soon rectified. We had drinks from the bar and they were all very nice apart from the mojito which was just alcohol in a generic mojito mix. And garnished with mint and lime as opposed to being crushed. Must have been the mixologists night off. Just a few bits but I think its best to give feedback.

Room was very comfortable. Food was lovely. I was more than happy to see a trio of craft taps from the local brewery. Had a great night I'm the company of wonderful friends. Enjoyed to walk in Avoca for coffee at lunchtime the following day. I really nice hotel that I'd happily recommend.

Hotel prices in Ireland aren't good value for money currently. Weather that's the room price or €3.50 for a cup of tea or the increases in the price of the pint.. Woodenbridge reflects that reality.

Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were brilliant, service at dinner and breakfast was very efficient. Good selection on offer at breakfast and dinner. Excellent location for visiting Wicklow.

We have stayed at this hotel many times over the years. We preferred it when it was smaller and more intimate but they have to progress and the new extension is clean and bright , just a bit more noisy and spread out however the service from the staff is as good as it always has been.

The Wooden bridge Hotel is a lovely hotel and was packed it is in a lovely location and the views were breath taking,Would highly recommend,the staff went above and beyond and even brought down coloring for yhe kids to do.The hotel takes both Cash and Card which is brilliant nothing as bad as a place that dosent take cash we just avoid them.

I really couldn't fault one bit the meal was just amazing and not small portions you get loads you will definitely be full.The staff were full of life the guy with the red sparkly tie was great craic and interacted with us all so did all the staff,the hotel was packed and they were all well used to it.The staff are a credit to the hotel they do deserve a big Christmas bonus.There were 4 adults and 3 children and we were in room 103 and 104.Thanks guys our stay was really enjoyable and we will definitely be returning again.Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all🎅🤶🧑‍🎄

The staff were absolutely amazing.I booked a table in the bistro for dinner and the waitress had set aside the table at the window for me. So I had a lovely view while eating. The food was amazing. I ordered the turkey and ham dinner and the vegetables were very fresh(not frozen) and the chocolate and Bailey's cheesecake which was yum. I also ordered a sparkling water and was surprised to receive a carafe/jug of it, which only cost the standard bottle price. The dark haired waitress who served me(I'm sorry I didn't get her name) was extremely helpful and funny and came back to check on me. I would definitely return back. This time I might try the lodge part of the hotel. This is situated across the road from the hotel and has an amazing outdoor seating area and a Smokehouse serving burgers and the normal menu. It is so peaceful and by the river.

The room was pretty basic and dated but extremely clean. There was seating out the front but I would have preferred an area at the back of the hotel away from the road. However, the lodge, across the road,which was a part of the hotel had an outdoor seating area and is located beside the river.

We were at a wedding nearby and the checkin was at the same time the meal at the wedding was so they let me checkin and get the keys ( I didn’t need to go to the room and it wasn’t ready yet anyway) so we could go back and enjoy the rest of the wedding. Room was spacious and clean.

We only stayed one night and it was very expensive €215 without breakfast but near the wedding venue.

I recently stayed here while attending a wedding in a venue nearby. The rooms are newly renovated, look great and are extremely comfortable. The staff were so lovely and really helpful. I was really happy with breakfast options. Great full Irish buffet and the brown bread was unreal!

It would be great to see the lobby area getting an upgrade in line with the updated rooms to give the hotel an overall more modern feel.

Great value, great location and extremely friendly and helpful staff. A special mention to Sylvia in the bar restaurant. She made sure we were looked after on arrival.

Just a small disappointment, my evening meal could have been better prepared, huge chunks of dry chicken breast in the carbonara, that said, it was tasty and it served its purpose after a long day of walking.
