The breakfast was exceptional ,the fact its self service is great,the selection is excellent :) and the view wow :)the staff omg should all get a pay rise especially adam Bryan tesse and orlaith they really went above and beyond for us :) yere a credit to the talbot hotel :)

Definetly earlier check in 4.00 is to late,I know ye offer early pool or the play center but still 2.00 is loads of time to have bedrooms done and ready for next guests

Rooms were a large size and comfortable. Breakfast was a buffet style and provided a lot of choice for the customer.

Only a few niggles for us: - after requesting alternative milk for our stay, which the receptionist told us had been done, the restaurant didn’t know anything about it. - Booked the restaurant for dinner and told that they hadn’t booked us in upstairs at all. They had booked us downstairs in the bistro which I hadn’t requested. - Sometimes people could be quite noisy outside and down the corridors during unsociable hours. It didn’t bother myself but it did the older members of our party who were unable to sleep well because of the noise.

Its the second time to stay in a Talbot hotel, the first Talbot hotel was located in Wexford and this Talbot hotel in Carlow both hotel standard could not be beaten, the Service and Staff were excellent Carlow hotel is older and getting revamped. Well done to all the Tabot in both Locations 👏👏👏

Talbot hotel Carlow is a older hotel some of the carpets need replaced, but it was very clean and comfortable.

All staff was very helpful throughout the booking and the stay, the rooms are fabulous and price was very reasonable for the start of the Easter holidays. This is our second stay with my 8 year old son he loves it as with the dome right beside the hotel there is loads for them to do..Great locations with carlow Town only being a few minutes drives away. Breakfast was lovely and bar staff really nice and friendly and good with the children we had brought.

the room was beautiful and really comfortable bed an extra blanket would have been nice though i was a little cold. staff were lovely and helpful

unfortunately breakfast on Saturday morning wasn't great very slow service buffet was slow to be filled up a lot of people were queuing it was cold even when filled and no glasses for juice had to ask but Sunday it was lovely and buffet was lovelt and hot. and topped up.

Dinner and breakfast were lovely above expectations. room was lovely, clean and spacious. there was a big function on and we slept soundly as the reception lady had put us up on the 3rd floor so we wouldn't be bothered.

I had booked a room for 3 adults. There was a third bed put in which was great but the matress was not the same as the main ones and I felt a bit cheated to have a lesser quality matress than my mother and sister.

Room cleaning was superb, food in bar was good value for money and was super tasty great all around staff where so welcoming and chatty made it a comfy stay, All staff couldn't do enough for us. Room where spacious and had all that was needed. Close to shops and the dome which suited as I stayed with my young children

We like everything about it - the ambience, staff and facilities were amazing. The breakfast was good and generous 😋.

The fact the we couldn't get more bottles of water after the first night. We were asked to pay if we wanted more 🤔. We had to resort to drinking from the tap or buying from outside.

I love everything about it its clean its cozy its relaxing but yet fun so much to do My daughter also loves it 😁🥰 be back soon ,,

Cant really fault it it's a bit pricey an have to book alot of things which I didnt mind but it's nice to just go with the flow had to kinda rush now an then to catch the swimming times or the dome area or had to book dinner but other than that was Brill 👌❤

The room was really comfortable, quiet and super clean! The food at dinner was fantastic! Don't normally eat pizza being a girlie, but this was the best I have ever eaten, even more so than when I used to have work trips to Italy as Cabin Crew with BA on a regular basis, and pizza was a regular evening meal for us airline crew. This hotel was right up there with the good hotels I used to have night stops in when working! My hubby was blown away with his food too so we were well pleased!

Would like mugs in the bedroom so I could have a bigger cuppa - not a complaint really!
