Derek, the host, was extremely attentive, helpful and organised. Everything provided was top quality - chocolates, linen, extra pillows etc. I really liked the written notices eg how to use the coffee/tea machine, where to eat etc. Breakfast was superb, with again attention to detail- lots of cereals to choose from, lovely fresh fruit, great yogart not to mention the hot food you could choose! The location was great, the views fabulous and the garden beautifully cared for. Derek gave us great directions to get there and parking was easy within the grounds. One of the few places that provided a ledge for shampoo etc in the shower. Thanks.

The room was a tad tight if you have a lot of luggage and the shower water spilled over a bit but we could see that Derek was concerned about health and safety.

Loved this B&B. Our host was very kind and helped us with a lot of information. Super nice!! The B&B was perfectly located for us, as we love it in a quiet place. It’s a little outside of Galway and was about 10 min to get into the city by car. It’s about an hour away from Connemara National Park! Our room was good size, didn’t need any more. It has a small bathroom but absolutely enough! Everything is very clean and with love in detail. Rooms also have a coffee machine and hair dryer (perfect)👌🏽 Breakfast was outstanding with such a nice view! You can choose between some main meals which are freshly cooked and there is also a small buffet in the room where you have fresh fruits, Jogurt, granola, cereals,… really nice ! Everything you wish for! We loved it and would highly recommend it!

There were four wonderful choices for breakfast - you picked what you wanted and let the hosts know the night before ... great way to do it! Quality, taste and presentation of food, beverages was super. The property grounds were well-manicured. The hosts were very personable and knowledgable regarding Galway and surrounding towns. Lots of great recommendations were provided by them. Beds, bedding and other bedroom amenities were very comfortable.

Absolutely wonderful place that has been hosting guests for decades. The house is warm, cozy, and spotless. The hosts are super friendly and kind. They go above and beyond to make you feel like at home. The breakfast is fabulous as well. You won't leave hungry ;) Galway city is only 10 min away and if you have a car, the onsite parking is super convenient. We give this place 20 out of 10 and would return during the next visit in a heartbeat. Thank you!

Beautifully decorated with interesting ornaments. Host was extremely helpful with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and location I overlooking the sea.

Hadn’t understood that the bathroom for room 2, was opposite side of the corridor to the bedroom. It was private to the room. We coped with it, but I hadn’t understood. We were given a robe to use by the owner which helped.

Darek was a great host welcoming us right when we arrived and gave us a tour and some history of the B&B and his family and gave us some recommendations for dinner in the city. The facilities were clean and the grounds immaculately maintained. Just a gorgeous view from the dining room in the morning at breakfast. And speaking of breakfast "Delicious", and so much food. Will definitely look for availability with Seacrest if we pass near Galway again.

Seacrest has all the very best a B&B can offer. Clean, comfortable facilities; magnificent gardens and an extraordinary breakfast offering. What we really loved, though, was the welcome and warmth shown by Derek and his dad that made this feel like a homestay with friends. Loved our time here and all the activities Derek advised us about that showed Galway at its best. Thanks so much!

The host and his family were friendly, organized and very helpful. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, the place was one of the cleanest places I've ever seen. Even if the place is not in the center of Galway it wasn't difficult to reach the center also because the host helped us to find the best place to park our car. Thanks for everything.

Nothing could have been more welcoming in Ireland than our greeting at Seaview, a few miles around the coast on Galway Bay. A lovely peaceful room with a comfy bed, coffee maker (no tea kettle, strangely), views of dreams. Lovely breakfast cooked or buffet (yoghurt, fruits, cereals) set at a big dining room table. Hardworking host willing to share (his eatery advice: stop at Monks in Ballyvaughn along the sea between the Cliffs of Mohrer and Galway). MONKS: write it down, look it up, serves non stop during the day) where this Chesapeake Bay foodie had the BEST seafood chowder of her life. It was served with two slices of homemade Irish brown bread and butter. I’m going to put in a photo of our host and his Daa.

Only the tea situation. Prefer kettle to coffee maker, but my Husband loved the coffee maker. Our GPS got us to the house easily. It’s a drag going through traffic to get to downtown Galway but the center of town was not our destination. Could have used a simple local map.

The host was super friendly and gave us many helpful suggestions for places to go and how to get around. His garden was beautiful, and we could have happily spent our entire visit sitting out and enjoying it. Breakfast was delicious, and we set out for our daily adventures well rested and well fed. Parking was plentiful and easy to access.
