staff were extremely pleasant. lots of nice extras, dressing gown, water, chocolates, Wi-Fi. excellent work facilities.

I expensive restaurant food. the bottom sheet on the bed was horrible fabric, it felt a bit like plastic. chargeable parking.

Everything was excellent.The location very pleasant and easy access ,the entrance well decorated , the staff on arrival welcoming,the room very spacious and exceptionally clean.The breakfast offered a variety of all you could have expected and was replenished all the time.Maybe a second coffee machine would help. We had two dinners as part of our deal and the food was very well prepared,well presented ,hot and served with a smile.No waiting.The staff seemed to be happy to work there and was so attentive and eager to please.

As I said before a second coffee machine would help at peak times.Maybe the children could be better supervised when choosing food at breakfast to avoid too much waste (at a time when so many people rely on foodbanks) but it is more the role of the parents I agree.Maybe young children should be accompanied by one adult. We had a rum and coke at the bar which tasted a bit watery.

Beautiful hotel set in lovely grounds away from the roads. The reception staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, the free spa facilities were a great bonus and very much enjoyed. The bed was the most comfortable we have slept in for a very long time which meant we had a great nights sleep and no noise heard at all. The stay was overall very pleasing and great value for money. Highly recommended 😊

The food and drinks were overpriced in the hotel, and disappointed they were the same if not higher than London prices ☹️ some added vegetarian/vegan options on the menu would also be welcomed. Lastly, the hotel and rooms were overall lovely and modern, the only let down was the bathroom which felt quite basic and dated.

Hotel had very good facilities and staff were very helpful. The breakfast was lovely too and there was a great choice. Town was a bit of a trek but taxis are available but can be expensive. Local bus is the best, a short walk to the bus stop and takes about 15 mins. Very reasonable price aswell. We did enjoy our stay and Cambridge is a great place. We will definitely visit again.

Thought the bar was very expensive and card only which for my self personally I didn't like. Cambridge also has lots of pubs restaurants which are also card only. It is a lovely place but it's very expensive. But they are places that are reasonably priced if you look for them.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful time at the bar in the evening and all the staff we spoke to were very friendly. I was so pleased by how seriously they took my husband's food allergy. Parking was easy and there were lots of spaces.

Breakfast was chaotic. There didn't seem to be enough food for everyone and people are greedy sadly. This meant that while I waited patiently for the next batch of cooked food to come, the masses descended for their third serving and leaving it on their plates unfinished anyway. It was incredibly busy, but I guess not much to be done about that. Maybe the hotel could have served cooked food in two different locations to ensure everyone had a fair chance? I am afraid I only had a slice of toast and a cup of coffee :(

Very attractively decorated, good size room, bed and bathroom. Pool and gym on site. Our room rate included breakfast and dinner, which saved quite a lot money. The meals were generous and tasty and a good menu. Because we signed up as IHG members we also received free parking and late checkout.

It is quite a distance from Cambridge which meant a change of our plans for the day and a half we had there. We had to drive to a park and ride and take the bus into the actual town. There is no refrigerator in the room.

The size of the room, hotel facilities (pool was a bonus!) and the modern feel when you entered reception with all the space, seating areas and furniture was great. The breakfast was fab and really fresh and well cooked, with plenty of options and really proactive staff refilling dishes regularly. The staff were really friendly, polite, professional and helpful too.

The bathroom was a little worn and could definitely do with a refresh; it also could have been cleaner as there were a couple of small hairs when we arrived. A second tea/ coffee machine in the breakfast area would have been good and I’d say I’d needed.

The location is appropriate and easy to navigate to town and shoppings. The most exciting is that it is family friendly. We had 3 comfortable double beds and my kids had the pleasure of having independent bed. The food is good, the swimming pool is shallow enough.

I think there is need to have an expert swimmer on sight for safety reason. The hotel is a little careless about children getting into it. My 8 and 4 year olds enjoyed it because they could swim but if not…?

The lady at reception was accommodating

The lady at reception was accommodating, but the guys who was at reception didn't wanna help with early check-in. Inspite of one another family who came a minute after us and went to the adjoining lady at reception, they were checked in. I went back to the guy again after 10 min and again a negative response. After the guy went for a break I just went to the lady and asked her she promptly checked us in gave us the room. I felt inspite of the room availability this guy didn't wanna help. It was a sad point of stay.

Everything was OK, rooms clean, well equiped with all the necessities (iron, hair drier, kettle etc.), staff was very friendly, excellent breakfast (for the kids as well). Wellness area was closed due to the reconstruction, so haven´t had a chance to try that.

The only downside were higher prices in the hotel bar/restaurant. But I´m not that experienced hotel guest, so maybe they were actually normal. Hotel is located little bit far from Cambridge town center - for those, who would like to walk there...
