I liked the room it was really tidy and the bathroom was clean and had everything you would need including tissues and a lot of towels, it was just what I needed for the week I was staying, free coffee and water in the room is great to have and you have a safe to keep valuables stored at no extra cost. The cleaning staff was super kind and helpful as well as the frontdesk staff, they stored my bags in a very safe way so nobody else could pick up my bags while I was out on my last day and they were always super friendly. The shared facilities such as the lobby, restaurant and dinning place are very beutiful and nicely kept, the decorations are very pretty and everything looks tidy!

The room had a little bit if a smell when I got there but that went away after opening the window and starting the AC for a while. The breakfast was a little underwhelming lol you could see people faces getting a little sad when the saw it, maybe some hams&cheese would really help to make it better, there is nothing hot for breakfast other than toast/bagels so I think some warm fresh food would really help. One bad thing for me as a solo traveler was the location but this is not the Hotel's fault. I didn't feel safe walking around alone (I identify as woman) and everyone said to not walk at nigth in the area. Just to keep in mind in case this is your first time here, maybe in a group it isn't as bad, if you don't mind using Uber or Lyft then it shouldn't be a problem.

the hotel was quiet and centrally located -- within a short walk of the LA Convention Center. The rooms were clean and modern, and very comfortable. I had enough desk space to work, and the wi-fi was reliable. I appreciated having a bar / restaurant in the lobby for a quick bite. The surrounding neighborhood, while it can be hit-or-miss in DTLA was fairly safe and quiet, relatively speaking, and close to places to eat or pick up groceries for a quick snack. I liked the Nespresso machine in the room -- that was great to get a decent cup of coffee in the morning, and the refrigerator was nice and cold (which really isn't a given in some US hotels nowadays). Overall, a good value for the money, especially on Fourth of July weekend, when a lot of the nearby hotels were booked up and quite expensive.

The breakfast was OK -- it was nice that it was offered and included with the room, but it was pretty simple - just fruit, bagels and (kind of overcooked) hardboiled eggs. As long as you don't expect anything fancy, it's enough to get you fed and out the door quickly. My room had a view of the brick wall of the adjacent building, but i guess that also meant that I had a lot of privacy. ;-) The bathroom soap/shampoo dispenser was hard to use -- i could barely get a few squirts out. After the first night, I bought some travel sized shampoo and conditioner from the nearby drugstore.

There were many great things about this hotel. Close to Metro Station and walking distance to places in DTLA. The room was wonderful and comfortable. It felt modern and cozy. I noticed how clean the room, hallways, and property smelled. So crisp and clean. The breakfast was modest but pleasing. Just enough to satisfy hunger and wake up. The fruit was fresh and really good. The coffee was decent. The croissants were light and flaky. The staff was great. The manager was so kind and let me check in a few hours early. I was on vacation for my birthday, so this kind gesture was really appreciated.

The fire alarms went on two nights in a row after midnight. It was startling and woke me up from a dead sleep. I was worried if they might go off again on my third night, so that made me lose more sleep. I wouldn’t blame the hotel for this, as it more than likely was a fellow guest who might have over indulged in something. Also not anything the hotel can do, but downtown LA has a high amount of homeless people. It can be a little unsettling when seen, some appear to have some serious issues, so one should proceed with caution if walking around the streets. The street where the hotel is located isn’t that bad compared to other areas like Skid Row.

Happy to have had warm hard boiled eggs as part of free breakfast. Convenient 7 min walk to Staples/Nokia/LA Live. Ralph/Kroger grocery store only one block away, plus secured parking,

No ice machine on each floor. You have to call down for ice or go to lobby and request some. The only ice machine is accessible by employees only, but they were very quick to get it for us!

Personel was great. They were friendly, professional and helpful. Breakfast also quite good. Bagels were delicious, fruits always fresh. Breakfast area were stylish. There were hair dryer, iron and security box. Thats nice. Location is good for subway.

Room and bed small unfortunately. For one day maybe enough but we stayed three day it was not comfortable. Room wiev was parking place, it was not nice as well. We didnt say to reception this situation maybe they could change room. Telephone line was broken for communication. Location was good for subway. But especially night time there were so many homeless.This was general Downtown problem I think. We didnt experience any problems in the area. We mostly used Uber.

The stuff is very kind . Good breakfast, a little more than continental breakfast. I enjoy the different fruits that were served: strawberries, grapes, oranges, apples, bananas. The rooms have a coffee maker with ceramic mugs and glasses, and also a small fridge. Bed are comfortable and not tightly made like the majority of the hotels I visited. Lo action fantastic: two blocks from the subway, seriously!. And something that is crucial for my health: individual control of AC and heating. I had a marvellous time there.

The windows do not have a view, but you are in Los Angeles to go around, are you? They also are a little dark, but the system of lights is very well planned.

The room was cute and cozy, looked exactly like the photos :) Felt safe and secure for someone travelling alone. I brought an extra lock and didn't feel the need to use it. Breakfast amenities were basic: cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, muffins, fresh fruit and other. Can't complain! Location was perfect, in walking distance to where I needed to be.

Some people complained about the loudness- which is a given and expected since you are staying DTLA... Out of the 7 nights I was staying, I only had one night trouble sleeping due to noise. Not really the hotels fault- that's just the location! Wifi was kind of slow but again, to be expected.

This hotel's location and price made us choose it. We got to many parts of the city just using public transportation, and it's great to be near the 7th Street Metro station. The breakfast selection is not that great currently, 3 types of bagels, hard boiled eggs, cream cheese, croissant, jam, butter, cereal, coffee, tea and orange juice

Maybe it depends on the room type, but the photos look way better than in reality. Our room was a bit outdated. Breakfast was served with plastic cutlery which was thrown away, you might feel a bit bad about this and I think the breakfast deserves proper cutlery that can be washed. The breakfast selection could improve a bit.

Great location to explore not only the downtown but also and the metropolitan LA, very helpful staff, comfortable clean room, large shower with big portions of shampoo, showergel, etc.

Very very poor breakfast (not value for money), some rooms are over the ventillation of the kitchen (noise problem and bad smell).

The hotel all in all was as expected for a 3 star hotel. Don't expect as many luxuries, but expect things to work properly. Breakfast was ok (many packaged foods) in a mostly shared table, staff was very nice and helpful, room was an adequate size and comfortable enough.

Although you cannot expect the cleanliness of a 5 star hotel, I think they could've done a better job with the rug in the room. But that is just cherry picking. Everything else was very clean and up to high standards. Asides from that, the bathroom door is a glass one that slides, so it doesn't give you the best privacy, but it works.
