Our business made me and my wife stay at this hotel longer than we planned. The hotel is old and in need of refurbishment, but the staff tries to keep it as clean and comfortable as possible.

When we went for a swim in the pool, I told my wife that it would be nice to renovate the place. We swam in the pool only once! Construction workers arrived the next day and started the renovation. For three weeks we lived without a pool. Next time I will be more careful in choosing the wish. If I knew that I was only entitled to one wish, then ask fate to win the Megamillion Jackpot, and not repair the pool. ;-) Pool is closed.

There wasn’t anything and nobody let me know what the internet was and password, where the laundry facilities were, and or any information about the restaurant. It would be nice to have a sheet of paper, like a little welcome letter in each room that explains all this and whatever else to your customers.

Newly remodeled rooms, very friendly staff. Last 2 hotels I stayed at didn't have ice machines that worked and this one did. Property is about 15 minutes from legoland, 45 depending on traffic to disney (when we went it's was 1.5 hrs due to wrecks). About an 1.5 hrs to any beach as well. We went to Vero Beach.

APRIL 8-10 2022 ROOM 219 WAS SUPER CLEAN!!! CONVENIENTLY LOCATED AND VERY AFFORDABLE!!! We were there for the Lakeland Sun and Fun Air Show which was amazing. Definitely 100% better than the Fort Lauderdale, FL Air show. We just needed a safe, clean and affordable place to sleep as we would not be in the room much. The WiFi worked and the amenities were basic. The room was nicely decorated and the best thing was that it was SUPER CLEAN "THANK YOU SONIA" and the bed was very very comfortable!!! Sheets smelled fresh and had NO stains!!! The pool looked very nice but unfortunate we didn't have time to enjoy it. They actually even called me twice to confirm my arrival and to see if I needed anything else since I had asked for a roll up bed, which they do not have but provided a room with a sofa bed (twin). I plan on staying there again in the future and recommend anyone that just needs a basic clean room to stay there. Also found Pizzano's Pizza about 5 mins from Royale Inn and that Pizza was one of the best we have had and there are thousands of pizza places in Miami and Fort Lauderdale FL we have tried through the years.

The only thing that I didn't like that needs to be cleaned is the shower head as it had some black mold on it. But hard water and other situations naturally can cause that situations. A little cleaning product will take care of that problem in room 219. The shower curtain had two small tears at the seam but no big deal! The sofa bed is not that comfortable, so get 2 dbl beds if available. But as a sofa it was very nice to able to sit there and not on our bed. You do have to ask for the sheet SET if you need to use the sofa bed.

The room is according with the money we paid. It was cleaned, and bed comfortable; the issue we had was that the sink was clogged. We couldn't use it at all, fortunately the shower was good and the siphon went down without problem. The room has tile which is great. It is noisy as it is located on the main street, so you can hear the traffick, but like I said before for the price is good, if you willing to expend a few dollars and get a 5 starts hotel then this is not for you, but if you go only to rest after a long day at a park, you can go there as you are saving money. Fast check-in and check-out.

Restaurant next door was great and Breakfast restaurant within walking distance. The manager was understanding about checking out late. All was cool.

I couldn't find the ice machine. I arrived at 5:00pm and had to check-in talking to a man behind a large plexi-glass and he didn't speak English very well. Luckily, I was there because at midnight I got very sick with vomiting and diarehha. The room kept nice and cool at 72 degrees.

I loved the bed, it was so soft I slept all night

There was road work it was hard to nagavate through the road work. I traveled there alone to see my daughter, I wanted to use the swimming pool with my daughter. For some reason a guest of the person resistered cannot use the pool along with the registered.

Clean inside and out, cleaned room every day, replace dirty towels every day, it was great place for the price, nothing fancy, Hot shower and bed!!

Think the mattresses could be updated, they were pretty hard

The manager was very helpful and friendly. The room looked newly updated. My famiy lives in Lake Wales and that was very close. I do appreciate a reasonably price option when only staying one or two nights.

The pillows were very uncomfortable.
