Ewa Hotel Waikiki

Great location close to famous Waikiki beach. The tea and coffee table in hotel lobby is great to start your day. Also the hotel staff is nice and try to help. Because of our evening flight, we asked to leave our luggage at reception during the day and it was not a problem. However we couldn't take a shower in the hotel in the evening, they provided us towels so we could take a shower on the beach.

Be prepared to higher noise from the street and surrounding areas.

My room was clean but no 'regular' tv channels such as ABC, Fox, ESPN, CBS, etc. I was -am thankful for free Oahu newspaper and coffee In Stay hotels lobby. However, the parking lot was full. I have disabled placard due to my stroke in 2014. The Stay hotel in my opinion violated ADA act as I required disabled parking.

Excellent place, a block from the beach! Free tea and newspaper every morning and free chairs and beach stuff all day. At night they have a karaoke bar right in the lobby. (can be slightly chaotic and noisy). Nearby food, shopping, restaurants and activities.

Everything was great

very good location, 2 min walk away from the beach. the price very affordable and competitive with another hotels in the same area! if you’re planning your vacation for being stay out of the room all day.. this is definitely your choice.

Nothing major - the sound on TV had some issues, but to be honest you don’t go to Hawaii to watch TV so it was a non-factor for me.

The location is perfect!

Was clean but felt the room was very old. The AC unit was on a wall of glass shade windows that was letting the heat in so the ac made no difference, it was still warm. Also, the TV was not centered in the room. It was literally all the way to the right of the room and both beds were on the left side of the room so only one bed could slightly see the TV. Staff was nice but would not stay here again.

i love staying at this hotel above the karaoke bar. karaoke is very fun there! great drinks, great people. staff is super nice too. free coffee/tea in the lobby. yes you can faintly hear people singing from 7pm-2am but I didn’t mind. I’m a heavy sleeper

Close too beach, very helpful, close too everything in walking distance. Excellent food places too eat. Covid is the only thing that hider the amount of stuff too do. I would highly recommend checking ahead of time of all places on tours to visit.Security is great. Had free movies. The best was how helpful and friendly the staff was. Really had a great breakfast set up due too Covid.

The pool could be heated and more seating, the sun only reaches it in mid day too afternoon. I like that it’s up on a level by itself.

I like the staff from housekeeping, engineer, especially the front seat staff. They were very helpful, accommodating and friendly! I will definitely come back.

The only thing is that air conditioning need to be upgraded. But it’s doable. I prefer my room on a cooler side.

The location is top, 1 block away from Waikiki beach. The staff is friendly. We had our 9yo son with us, he slept on the sofa. We could borrow beach stuff from the hotel (surf boards, beach boards, and a beach towel for each one), and we could keep it for the day after the checkout too. the Garage is below the hotel, not sure about the cost, but around $30 per night.
