Great room - breakfast option was great - not available last time I stayed - came with my 18y old daughter who absolutely loved the hotel and its decor and will definitely come again. Location is great if you don't mind a 30min walk to Harvard Square. Ping-pong in the foyer - always a winner. Heaps of great eating options within 500m westward. All in all - excellent!

Bit pricey for the location. Some confusion over the payments and deposits - but all sorted eventually. Would be nice to have a kettle! These are all small points in the scheme of things. If you get the chance - try this hotel!

Delightfully funky hotel with unconventional design. The reception is also unconventional, but once Johnathan attended to me at check in, everything became conventional and efficient. He competently answered a long list of questions that I had (most were not even related to the hotel eg parking charges in Boston, bus number to Harvard Square, etc). He was helpful and efficient. I like the hotel's location. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Boston and Cambridge. Yet these places are easily accessible because there is a bus stop at back of hotel. The local bus takes us to Harvard Square. From there, walk to Harvard University if you have business there. If your destination is Boston, the metro is right at Harvard Square too. Ample car park lots in the hotel's premises and they are free! Restaurants & supermarket are also behind the hotel - a short walking distance. In front of the hotel is a nice park along Charles River. There are geese and ducks in the park. Overall, the hotel is clean, quiet and everything functions well. Will stay here again if visiting Boston/ Harvard University.

The look and feel was very inviting. The room was large and comfortable. Best of all was the wonderful art work throughout the building. Very nice studio.

My biggest complaint was the air conditioning system. It was always 68 degrees and there was no variability. This was a major distraction for me. I loved the room and I was always shivering. Eventually they brought a space heater that warmed the room. I guess this is how an older building is, but it was a challenge for me. My lower rating on value is because I don’t understand the designation of the resort fee add-on. Seems like a way to add originally hidden costs.

We liked the hotel location and positive staff attitude. The breakfast was very good with high quality items and fresh fruits (best hotel breakfast we had in all our month long trip). We also liked that the hotel had free covered parking that was easily accessed from the main road. The rooms are pretty, although small. The hotel gives good value for money for this Boston area.

The room was very small, almost no storage space and room design was lacking. The bathroom door was a sliding door, with no lock and slots on the sides. Anyone standing in the "hall" could see through it. The hotel has two buildings (we were not aware of it). The second building is further away on the back. Our room had a view to the adjacement building wall. There is a washer and a dryer available for the quests, which is a big plus, but there is only one washer in all the hotel, on the 3rd floor of the second building.

Hotel has fresh fruits and decent selection of pastries. No hot breakfast, just cold ham and cheese. Location is nice, right next to the Charles river, and only a short 15-20 min walk to Watertown mall and Arsenal park.

The family next to my room was kind a noisy and chatted loudly starting in the evening even until 1AM! I couldn’t sleep early or very well because of that. But this is not the fault of the hotel. Just wish I had brought a headphone. Also, there were few restaurants nearby, only a Shabu Shabu and a grill and bar so you would have to Uber to Arsenal park for more food choices.

1. It's not cheap but cheaper than most of the other hotels in Boston. 2. Breakfast is very good. The cafeteria is good, the kinds of bread change every day, a microwave is available. 3. Coffee is provided 24/7 4. Parking lot is very big and easy to access. 5. Communication is super easy through text.

1. No noise-proof at all. The sound from the corridor and adjacent rooms is very noisy. Even the sound from the bathroom is noisy in the bedroom. 2. Mobility is uncomfortable. There are stairs between the main building and the south building, so it's hard to move with heavy carriers and strollers.

The location is a little out of the city, but is easily accessible by public transport as 2 bus routes stop outside, which run to/from subway stations on the Red line. Public transport is great for getting around Boston and cheap using a Charlie card. Staff were very helpful with lists of local attractions and restaurants. The hotel is about a mile from Harvard and in an area with a number of art studios around, reflected in the rooms decor. We were able to leave our luggage securely on our last morning while we visited Harvard. Breakfast was fine, mostly fruit, toast bagels, cereals. Waffle making appeared one morning. I would recommend this hotel especially if you are happy to use public transport.

No tea/coffee making facilities in the room, though we could have asked for one to be supplied.

Stylish Boutique hotel, located 15min walking distance to Harvard University and its popular nightlife. To reach Boston city center, either 45min public transport or 20min taxi ride is required. Room was very clean and adequate in size. Wifi very good. The gym is small, equipped with basic stuff, but ok. Breakfast is ok, offered in a nice environment. Friendly, supportive staff.

I did not like the pricing policy: The hotel is charging 36$ per night/room for "resort-charge", on top of the usual tax - which I have never seen before, nor is this hotel a resort! So better check the final price when comparing rates!

Friendly, helpful staff. They were happy to switch us to a different room for our second and third nights. The hotel has great breakfasts, with lots of fresh fruit, pastries, yogurts and cold cuts, included in the rate. It’s very close to bus lines that connect to the subway system, so it’s possible to get anywhere in Boston by public transportation from the hotel. The bus stop is on Western, the street running behind the hotel, at Everett. Everything in the room was clean and comfortable.

If your main destination is downtown Boston for tourist sites, you’ll be spending around 45 mins on public transport to get there. And the rooms with a (bolted) interior metal door to the adjacent room seem to get a fair amount of sound from the adjacent room.
