Sleep Inn Provo near University

Room assignment was near parking area, which I always appreciate. Staff was friendly and cooperative. Breakfast was good.

It was clear from bent page on the complimentary notebook and wrinkled TV channel paper list that other guests had used those. For health reasons, used items should be replaced. After I left the front desk, a guy with a pit bull on a leash was at the front desk. There was a sign at the front desk that the hotel is "pet friendly." Maybe so, but pit bulls are not friendly. The elevator door was slow to open. The guy with the dog approached to board the elevator with me and my luggage, but I said, "Let's NOT share!" He was good natured about it, but I shouldn't have had to warn him off. Good thing I'm assertive!

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, they were always smiling and decorated the lobby for the holiday season, making it warm and inviting even though it would have been a naturally dark space by the building design. Some aspects of the hotel were old, like some of the carpet, furniture, and fixtures, but everything was clean, and my room was fresh and not stuffy. Plus, all of the lights in my room actually worked, which never seems to happen when I stay in a hotel.

There was a space under the door, on room 314, so the hallway lights shined into my room all night.

We like the breakfast and the 24 hour coffee and ice water. The fitness room and hot tub are nice as well however the fitness equipment could use some attention. I enjoyed the walking path along the stream and how close the hotel is to facilities (walking distance) but it's still right outside of town so it's quiet.

It would be nice if the bathrooms were bigger.

apparently it’s against fire code to have a portable crib in the rooms, which I find to be poorly designed. i would consider changing the furniture choices in the room to accommodate portable cribs so babies and toddlers have a safe space to sleep. luckily I brought my own and used it anyway, but it’s a nice accommodation to give travelers and their families, if you can.

The last three times we have stayed there we have requested to be on the ground floor and were assigned to an upper floor but they were able to meet our request. The desk clerk said that they could not see that a special request had been made. The sheets on our bed were very, very wrinkled, made us wonder if they were clean.

This place is great value for the rate. The room, bed and shower were all great. Didn't take advantage of the breakfast but did use the pool area. Overall great and I would stay here again.

Pool area is in need of some love. The hot tub jets were not very powerful and water wasn't very hot in there.

When I check in, the receptionist is extremely friendly, welcoming, and warm!!! Her name is Emily. I feel very happy because it is my first day in Provo. Other receptionist are very nice too! Great location. Super close to the bus stop, where I can take UVX ( free ride) and go everywhere. Safe area. I feel very safe walking around at night. Very close to a lot of restaurants. One of them is Sizzler, I can eat buffet only cost $11.49!! Very delicious!! Emily! Thank you very much for your warm hospitality! I wish you success in your life: )

Breakfast is very basic. But it is okay for me! I love the bagel and muffins! Wi-Fi is a little bit slow. But it's fine for me. Thank you very much!

The view of the Rocky Mountains was anazing. We are from the PNW so we could have stood at our window all night. We really liked the lay out of room too.

We had one bed that was either missing all it's center springs or had been jumped on a lot. It made it uncomfortable for two adults to sleep in.

It was comfortable and neat. They had a fridge and microwave, breakfast, shower and soaps, towels, all the things we needed for a couple nights' stay. The evening staff seemed tired and kind of done with things, but honestly that is fair. They were still nice. :) All in all, it was accommodating and nice.

My only complaint is the walls are thin and sometimes you hear things you may not want to hear.
