Good sized, unheated, pool in large gardens that overlooked the lake. The main road was between the hotel and lake but as the gardens were slightly above the road, noise was virtually non-existant. Breakfast had a good choice and could be taken on the terrace overlooking the pool. The hotel also had free bike hire. Two minutes at most (probably less) from the autobus stop. Small fridge and safe in rooms. The staff are both lovely and professional.

Like all the hotels we stayed in during our Italy trip the hotel could do with a little TLC but this wouldn't stop us staying here again.

San Marco is in a great location away from the main towns and tourists with good restaurants a few minutes away. Great to walk along the costal path to Bardelino or Laize. We loved the free bikes which were available to residence. The rooms are basic, small and very clean. Breakfast was very good. The pool was lovely with great views.

We love a cup of tea and there were no tea making facilities in the room. Luckily we brought our own. The tea at breakfast was not very good either so ended up having the coffee which was fine.

The staff are great, both friendly and professional. Nice pool, nice breakfast. Very near the bus stops and across the road from the lake. Breakfast overlooking the pool and lake is a good way to begin the day. We also like that there aren't many English (we're from the UK).

Could do with more plugs in the room. There is one plug next to one side of the bed and another, nearby, lower down.

Great location, in between bardolina and lazise- about a 30 minute walk/10 min cycle each way. Nice restaurants across the road. Lovely pool, bar and restaurant. Breakfast was tasty and the view was beautiful whilst eating breakfast. Staff were exceptional- reception, bar staff and cleaners were friendly and helpful. Great pool area to relax in. Our children enjoyed the pool and the ice cream shop next door!

We had an amazing 4 night stay and highly recommend San Marco. The front desk staff were always super helpful and spoke a range of languages and the bar staff were good characters and always tried to have a laugh. The rooms were cleaned everyday, had plenty of storage rooms, a mini fridge and bathrooms were good. They offered a range of FREE excursions including canoeing and mountain biking. We did the canoing which was along in Garda and it was good fun, we got to Garda by cycling on the free to rent hotel bikes. The location was perfect, a short walk or even shorter cycle to Lazise and Bardolino and just over the road from the lake. The pool area had plenty of beds and umbrellas and the pool itself was never too crowded. Finally, breakfast was always good, typical Italian spread everyday including meats, cheeses, scrambled and boiled eggs and then a range cereal, breads and hot drinks.

The hairdryers were not as powerful as your normal handheld one. If you have room to bring one I would.

Just had an amazing 4 night stay here …. Arrived from Venice by train to Peschiera station & then bus to the hotel. The location was in cinsano a 25 min walk to Bardolino town. The room was very spacious and the hotel was immaculately clean - pool area gorgeous with nice pool snacks and drinks by waitress service . So lovely to be by the pool with a view of the lake . There are 3/4 restaurants just over the road to the left overlooking the lake … so not far to go ! Bardolino is a lovely walk again by the lake. Breakfast at the hotel very nice … eggs / ham / pastries / croissants / cereals / coffee and juices . The staff were All extremely helpful and friendly. The bus back to the airport was a great service - €4.60 each and directly into airport rather than €70 taxi ride ! A fantastic stay and I would highly recommend this hotel and stay again - thank you San Marco 🥰

Breakfast was excellent-quality products and wide choice. Staff were very friendly and helpful and room was very clean.

Our room was on ground floor and close to reception and there was a lot of noise until about midnight-after an early start and a long journey an early night was planned but to no avail

situation was ideal for catching ferries, local buses and easy access to restaurants and nearby resorts. free bicycles with plenty cycle tracks to use them on

a bit bare could do with some art work on the walls

Loved the location, the helpful staff. Was easily able to the bus or boat to other villages. Free use of bikes to visit liaze and bardolino. Lovely breakfast. Clean and accommodating.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location was good in the sense that it was across the street from the lake. The 30 minutes walk to Bordolino center was acceptable. Our room had a huge balcony, overlooking Lake Garda.

No negatives about the hotel. But, I do have one with Bookings… Even though I supposedly received the “Genius Discount”, the rate was still 30€ more than booking directly with the hotel. I wish Bookings would state how much above the hotel rate they charge. Anyway, in this case, we would have been much better off calling the hotel directly instead of going through Bookings.com
