The hotel is in a very good location, 15 minutes walk from the central train station, 10-15 minutes walk from all the central sites. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. There is no lobby, but there is a reception office with charming and helpful people. There is no buffet breakfast, instead you can get a boxed breakfast for 7 euros Around the hotel there are restaurants, cafes and supermarkets.

The hotel is on a main road (regular urban) with traffic (buses & cars) and when the windows are open you hear the traffic noise (no smoke or unpleasant smell only noise) when the windows are closed you hear almost nothing, it didn't bother us.

I book the Almarossa whenever there is availability when I go to Bologna. I like the apartments, I like the location, I like the staff at reception. There is a handy laundry room, public transportation, supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants and shops nearby. All places of touristic interest are within walking distance, and the university quarters are nearby. Central station is also reachable on foot. I will continue booking this hotel when available on my futures trips to Bologna, because I feel at home and comfortable here.

This last time there were three things, which is very unusual: (1) I found that the trash from a previous stay had not been taken out. (2) The TV had been disconnected from the antenna and live TV was therefore not available when I first arrived. Because reception closes at 19:00, I waited until the day after to get someone (the always excellent and resourceful Clarissa) to fix it. (3) The laundry soap had ran out and not been replaced. Maintenance of all appliances and supplies should be carried out every time new guests check-in.

Too much noise! Also the apartament has no door between the 2 rooms...

Location was great, 10 min walk to Bologna Centrale. Very spacious apartment, clean with all the amenities you need - glasses, cutlery, table cloth etc. They take recycling very seriously hence so many different bins to segregate your rubbish. Very well working AC, big comfortable bed, amazing water pressure, regular tower change. We arrived well before the check in and we were given the room immediately. Highly recommended.

I only gave 9 of 10 because we all learn from feedback. I’m going to be a little bit picky here but there are important things like refilling our shower gel dispenser. On the last day we had to use the shampoo to wash. Or we couldn’t find any spare rubbish bags. The apartment is clinically clean and empty and I know this helps with cleaning, so there are no rugs or carpets, night stands and stools are metal, no pictures on the walls. This didn’t bother us however it felt a little bit too clinical to me. If you are not used to street noise, this might bother you too. As I live in the city centre, I’m resistant to noise.

Excellent apartment - bonus having laundry facilities free of charge in the complex along with daily housekeeping at not extra cost (which is usually not provided with apartment stays). Everything you would expect for a holiday apartment stay was provided. The staff were highly professional, genuinely friendly and extremely helpful - just amazing service provided! The building is very secure, entry via key card, the premises constantly monitored with cameras, you can contact staff 24 hours / day, there's a lift if required and luggage storage. Communication from time of booking was great - replies were immediate. Online check in is available to speed up the check in process. The apartment is located about 1 km from the main piazza (central district of the city) an easy walk via two main roads so it is easy to navigate (no getting lost). It's also located close by to the main train station, there are plenty of eateries and bars in the neighbourhood, along with supermarkets. There's even a cinema very close by which screens version original movies. I can't recommend this property enough - should I visit again I wouldn't look to stay anywhere else.

Nothing could have been better!

Stayed in the Deluxe Studio which was very clean and comfortable. Great location. Lia checked us in on a Sunday, as she happened to be doing a quality check at the hotel and because it would save us from waiting in a queue on Monday morning. She gave us a lot of recommendations for food and sights as well. This is a welcome and a level of service that you don't get in a lot of places these days and it was much appreciated.

Via Imerio is indeed very busy and loud but they provide earplugs. If this is a problem, ask for a room at the back of the hotel.

We booked 3 superior studios with balcony. Had floor 1, 2 and 3. We were really surprised how spacious and comfortable these rooms were. The photos do not do it justice. Separate lounge/ dining/ kitchen, huge bathrooms with plenty of space to stack your toiletries and great water pressure. Huge bedroom , loads of wardrobe space and a safe and lots of power outlets around the room and beside the bed. The unit was clean, well equipped, had shutters on the large windows. Bonus was having a balcony with private seating that overlooked the outside courtyard, which is there for all guests to use. 2nd and 3rd floor units faced the courtyard and were very quiet, 1st floor was adjacent to the communal area but was screened by jasmine vines. It also had the kitchen area facing the front street but the bedroom faced the courtyard so was still quiet. However opening windows meant passive smoke from other guests. The location was about a 10 minute walk to the old town, less to the Quadrilateral , huge supermarket next door and loads of cafes and takeaway. So a great location.

Overall I'd say it was one of the best of my stays if not the best. The room was very spacious and clean, the bed was amazing and the location of the hotel is perfect: 10-15 minutes on foot and you're at the city centre. Highly recommend!

Probably the only thing I disliked was the noise levels. I couldn't hear anything from the adjacent rooms, but I heard the garbage containers being emptied pretty early in the morning. One more minor nitpick: we got only one keycard for two people in a room, for a couple of times it was a bit inconvenient.

Everything is as described and shown in the pictures. Sparkling clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed and furniture, elegant and functional bathroom, TV set that works (without needing to study a manual), free and clean laundry room in the basement. The location is ideal to reach station and center on foot, and, unlike other art cities, the pavements are smooth enough to be able to pull trolleys without too much effort from/to the station. The apartments (this is my second stay) are large and airy. An excellent stay and value for money.

Nothing important, but adding a full length mirror in the bedroom would be useful.

The room was spacious and clean. There was a coffee machine we could use. The staff was very kind, she let us know when the room was ready so we could check in a little earlier. And we could leave our luggage after check out and before leaving the city. Location is quite ok, for us it was just a walking distance to the main attractions.

Noisy in the morning, but we expected that. But be aware that it’s located at the one of the main streets, traffic starts early in the morning, garbage is collected during the night etc.
