The welcome email/WhatsApp message was fantastic!It had ALL the information provided to ensure a problem- free self check-in. The proximity to the train station is awesome. There are plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops nearby. The room was super clean, the bed was comfortable, and the coffee machine was a life-saver in the morning.

Everything was great. One small recommendation: perhaps in the welcome message, it could be mentioned that if the elevator door is not closed while it's on a higher floor, it will not come when called... I dragged half my suitcases up to the 2nd floor when I realized that the little, old elevator was stuck on that floor, because the doors don't close automatically and therefore it will not work when needed downstairs. So I closed it and sent it down, and all was fine. 😊

Lovely clean room, welcome hamper was very nice and the bottled watered was very handy and well appreciated.. the beds were comfortable and good air conditioning. I was also able to use my Netflix so we liked that we could watch some TV in the evening. It’s convenient for the train station being right across the street.

The only downside was that our room was right next to the main entrance and so we could hear the door buzz every-time someone came or left but that only happened a few times. It’s right next to the main road so you can hear traffic early morning but for us it was fine as we are use to this and use the noise of traffic as some what of an alarm to wake up!

Very nice and clean room. Great location, everything was within walking distance.The complimentary coffee and crackers were nice to have and appreciated. The room got cleaning everyday and all the essentials and complimentary coffee and crackers were refilled. The street and traffic wasn't too loud or disturbing, despite the proximity to the train station.

The room was described as soundproof, however, we heard almost everything from the hallway, which woke us up earlier than planned on many occasions.

The Amendola 16 met our expectations. Everything was according to the information on booking.com when we made the reservation. The room was very nice, absolutely clean, check-in process was clear and easy. It was very comfortable that the room was cleaned up everyday and the refreshments (coffee, water, juice, sugar, tea, milk) were filled up each day. The communication with the Landlord through Whatsapp was smooth and fast. We really enjoyed and were satisfied. We can only recommend this accommodation and if we will back in Bologna, we will stay again in Amendola 16. :-)

Nothing to mention

Extremely convenient to train station, very clean, very comfortable bed, bathroom was great with awesome water pressure. Enter from street through a massive digital coded door, then another coded door to get down the well lit hallway to the room that you enter with key code so we felt very safe and it was very quiet. The room was cleaned every day and clean towels were provided every day. Windows opened for a nice breeze and fresh air, or use the a/c. Host provided clear check in/out instructions and was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We enjoyed staying here.

Very good location near train station, in city center. Clean, bathroom well equipped. Walking distance to all that city center have to offer.

Being near street was kind of noisy at night. Bed with hard mattress for our taste.

The rooms are excellent and clean. The owner is very quick in response and even the rooms are cleaned and the towels are changed almost everyday. Excellent service and condition of the room. Hope to come back again.

Maybe a little bit more information on the limited amount of hot water to be used, can be added in the description a bit, but apart from that it's an incredibly lovely, enriching and private place in the heart of Bologna.

We loved the complimentary tea/coffee and croissants left in the room and the water in the fridge - the water was great for each day we were out. Location was beyond fantastic as super quick walk everywhere in the city but also 1 min walk to the train station which was brilliant for other city day trips (we went to Verona, Venice, Ravenna, Parma and Modena during our stay, as each distance was less than an hour on the train and very reasonably priced tickets). Also made getting to and from the airport very easy too. Check In and Check Out was probably the easiest checking in/out I'e ever had. Staff were really polite and extremely helpful, answering my questions by WhatsApp withins minutes. We would absolutely stay with Amendola16 again. Highly recommend.

Nothing! Was Perfect

The room rate was without breakfast but there was a coffee machine and also some basic breakfast snacks (small packs of toasts and TUC biscuits). The location was excellent, less than 10 minutes walk from the station and a short walk to the centre of Bologna. There were also a selction of restaurants within very easy walking distance.

When we returned from our first day out, the Nespresso pods and TUC biscuits hadn't been replaced. We messaged the host, and these were produced by the cleaner the next morning which was good.

Cleanliness of the room was impeccable. Moreover, the vicinity of the B&B to the Bologna's Central Station is simply unbeatable.

The total lack of the staff on site, at least during the check-in/check-out, was something I really did not appreciate as it led to us to communicate with them and to send them copies of our IDs via WhatsApp. Also it should have been mentioned in the description of the B&B that the exact amount of cash should be on hand to pay for the tourist tax as this amount is to be left within the room to be later collected by the staff.
