One of the highlights was its convenient location, situated near the train station and the historic center, which made getting around the city effortless. I also liked how friendly the cleaning staff were. Moreover, the surrounding area felt safe.

Our stay was alright, but there were a few things that could have been better. The room seemed clean overall, although we did encounter some stray hairs on the towels, which was disappointing. The breakfast selection was average, and the staff, while not unfriendly, could have been a bit more welcoming. Additionally, noise from neighboring rooms was a small issue at night.

The space of the room, and there is a very big balcony. The breakfast is quiet, and it's near the train station and many buses can get.

Before the final day, when I went out for the breakfast, I met the cleaning person, she asked me in Italian that I cannot understand, then she asked one more time, I just think maybe she asked whether I left at that time, then I told her no. After breakfast I went out and put the label to clean the room outside the door. But when I was back, I found there was no any room service. So I think the cleaning person should have some train in English, if they cannot understand, it's better don't make the decision by themselves.

old building, high ceilings and wooden shutters. bathroom was very clean and spacious. housekeeping were amazing re sheets/towels. breakfast was lovely and Italian (cakes, tarts, “brioche”, preserved aubergine, a honey comb on the breakfast buffet oozing real honey. reception were excellent - helping with a 4:30am taxi to the airport. overall staff were friendly.

renovation has turned it into a generic 3* hotel so no Bologna/Italian character in the room. lighting was a bit cold. bedside lamps were stylish and created shapes echoing the wallpaper but a functional reading lamp would have been great. no kettle in the room. more places to hang clothes/towels in bathroom would help.

Everything was lovely! All staff members, from housekeeping to reception, were very kind, the room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, the breakfast was great and varied and the terrace was lovely. Location is very close to the city center and a map was given to us at the reception. Great comodities and everything was functional. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend and return!

Althought the shower was good, it would be nice for it to have the smaller head and some shampoo. Other than that, everything was perfect.

Location was great. Five to ten minutes from the train station. My room was off the street in a secluded courtyard so very quiet. Breakfast was adequate. Bed was comfortable and the sheets were crisp. The air-conditioner was a bit funky and would stop every once in a while. TV was large. Bathroom was good size, clean and well-equipped.

Girls on reception extremely friendly Owner Giovani was very nice. Coffee available all day. Breakfast was good. Plenty cheese and ham and croissants. Beeajfaat area was small and could be plunger. We gas a balcony with our room. Which was a bonus. Robins very clean and water was freely a available in fridge .location perfect. Small shop around the corner. We were very happy After reading terrible reviews, we were sceptical, but we were extremely happy. Hotel needs some TLC in some areas but rooms were fine. I could not get good wifi, but my daughter did.

Helpfulness of staff. Especially appreciated were the availability of different Italian-type coffee throughout the day (Cappuccino was excellent). I was able to bring back a pizza and eat it in the breakfast area. Breakfast was delicious with yoghurt, cereals, different cheeses, lunchmeat, eggs (scrambled and cooked), different delicious-looking sweets, apples and oranges, as well as juice. Room and bathroom (modern, smallish)were very clean, bed very comfortable. The property is in a residential area, way from street noise, yet only an 8 minute walk from the train station and close to the center of town. The elevator was much appreciated! Very good value for a big city hotel.

Hallways could be made to look brighter, but they were clean.

We picked this hotel because of its proximity to the train station and old town. We arrived in Bologna by train from Rimini. The hotel was just a 10 minute walk from the train station. When it was time to leave, we conveniently walked to the train station and took the Marconi Express train from the station to the airport. Walking to the old town was a 19 minute walk. Once in the old town, all the attractions were within 3-10 minutes of one another. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Choices included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, pancakes, juices, breads, cheeses, meats, fruit and pastries. Room was large and bathroom was clean with a good strong shower.

No on-site restaurant. WiFi access was limited. Apparently you are limited to the number of devices that can connect. My wife was able to connect with her phone and tablet and the connection and speed was good. I only was able to get a limited 56MB connection with no internet access. Room had limited storage for clothing. No dresser or closet. Only a long table with one drawer and an open area containing 8 hangers.

The location was very convenient, close to Old town and the Central station. I liked that the breakfast had hot food items such as sausages and scrambled eggs, also good coffee. The room was renovated and very pleasant, the street was quiet, the bed comfortable, bathroom clean and the shower worked well. The hotel has a lift, though very small.

The breakfast room was not very spacious, though I easily got a table, so no complaints. The reception area also very small. It is an old and narrow building.

The breakfast was really good, the room really spacious, bright and warm (it was very cold outside). The bathroom was really nice too. Very comfortable beds. The people working in the breakfast room were very friendly and attentive. The location was ok - safe and quiet. Only 5 minutes walking to the train station, maybe 15-20 minutes to the central square.

Some noise could be heard coming from other rooms/ bathrooms, the reception could try being a bit more welcoming (just a suggestion).
