Beautiful design forward hotel in the perfect location to wander around Bolzano. The apartment was incredibly spacious with everything you would need. We only stayed one night so didn't get to take full advantage, but the room had a full kitchen and laundry. You do have to walk (about 5-10 minutes)from the car park to the hotel on cobblestone streets so be prepared to carry your luggage. There is a new lift to certain floors in the hotel, so if luggage and stairs will be a problem, request a room with lift access. Don't miss the tiny roof deck with excellent views over the city. Overall, nice stay and would recommend if you're in Bolzano.

The bathroom decor was quite sparse and the color made it feel like a hospital bathroom. Compared to the lovely design of the rest of the hotel, this felt like an afterthought but it was clean and roomy.

The place is amazing, the architecture. The atmosphere. The location. Just amazing. The apartments are spacey equiped with everything you'll need.

If you are coming with a car. The walk from the parking is quite a long 7 min walk with luggage for a family There is no piece of cake and we had to make a few trips back and forth. On top of that the building is an amazing 17 century with no elevator and the apartments can be 3 - 5 floor with steep stairs. It was very hard. I think all they need is someone who can help you with the luggage. Also coming with a baby stroller taking it up and down the stairs every time you wanna hang out really makes you think twice of going out lol. They need to have a stroller parking in the street level area. I notice other guests having the same struggles

Loved this hotel and the decor was STUNNING. Location was perfect, right in town by the market. The staff were incredibly lovely and helpful especially as we turned up on bikes! Make sure you climb up to the roof top terrace as it has stunning views. Definitely recommend staying here!

Not the hotels fault but there was a lot of noisy music at night, but you are right in town so that is understandable - something to bear in mind

Maybe a warm porridge could be added to the breakfast menu? Maybe a few more utensils could be added to the in-room kitchenette? (Plates, bowls, a pot?)

The location and staff were exceptional. The B&B is in literally steps away from the shopping area. Plenty of dining choices nearby and an open air market right around the corner. It is a 10 minute walk to either the train station or the cable car to Oberbozen. Ana checked us in and helped us a great deal including getting our Sudtirol Mobil pass ready for us to explore the region during our stay. The breakfast was very good but we stayed in one of the apartments with a kitchen and bought groceries from the market for our breakfasts. Housekeeping refreshed the room daily and left towels and duvets folded artistically each day.

We weren't fully aware of the stairs accessing the property. While the apartment provided nice views, 4 flights of stairs were hard on our older knees. The mattress was a little uncomfortable and it seemed to tilt lower on the head end.

Absolutely amazing stay, we loved it. Was blown away by how beautiful the place is and how friendly the staff were. We travelling for a wedding and family were all jealous of our accommodation, and it was cheaper than other places.

Maybe would have been nice to have a warm option at breakfast, although this is not really necessary as the breakfast has a lot of choices already

The room was fabulous. Very nice decorated . It was very well heated . We didnt feel cold at all. The location is superb. Very central yet quiet . The bed was very comfy. I really loved everything about the building and the decoration. Really worth the stay

The only negative I could say is that it is a bit expensive .300 euros per night without breakfast . I find it a bit expensive. However Bolazno is an expensive city..

Beautiful place with complex architecture. Our apartment had rooftop terraces on 2 different levels. Right in the heart of downtown. Anke was great, very helpful to us. Great breakfast buffet. Attached to wonderful restaurant (thanks, Christian).

2-bedroom apartment is at top of 76 steps. Not enough wastebaskets. Spacious, but not enough places to set luggage.

This boutique hotel is fabulous. It is comprised of two impeccably restored and fully connected adjacent historic buildings in the heart of the Old Town. Each room is unique with beautiful bedrooms and gorgeous modern bathrooms. Most importantly, however, is our gratitude to the friendly and helpful front desk staff. Cannot say enough about how warm and welcoming they are and willing to do whatever they can to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable and to help you navigate the city and enjoy the sights. We feel like we have made new friends with Manuela, Dalila (and the other wonderful front desk person, apologies we did not get her name) who were simply terrific! Bolzano is a beautiful city and this hotel is a gem!

Wish we could have stayed on in Bolzano and at the Goldenstern for more than the two nights and 3 days of this vacation. We will definitely return.

Beautiful apartment with wonderful terraces! Great shower, comfortable beds, and pleasant modern decor. The apartment is very spacious. One thing to note, the second bedroom doesn't have a door to separate it from the living room with sofa bed.

We were in Bolzano for my daughter's graduation. On the day of her presentation, workers needed to access the roof through our apartment for most of the day.The crew was very professional and careful as they did their work, but it added stress to an already hectic day.
