Mare Nostrum is perfectly located in a quiet street in the old town. Only 7 minutes on foot from the train station, even less from the central square, places of historical interest and the sea front. There is a small supermarket and a bakery shop in the same street. Studio was spacious, clean and well equipped. Breakfast consisted mainly of buiscuits, jam, yogurts, juice, coffee...The owners are really helpful with advices on good restaurants and things to do in the town. I could leave my bags in the studio till late in the afternoon on the last day. Brindisi is easy to walk around and a fun especially on a sunny day. Highly recommended.

giuseppe and his brothers are very kind and friendly , ready to help you and give you good tips. they do their best so that you will feel at ease. you have everything for your breakfast in the fridge and when it is empty you advise giuseppe. (coffee, milke, yogurt, biscuits). no fresh bread.. flats are well situated with a bakery and small "mercado" close to them by foot as well as the port with restaurants and bars. 15 mns about from train station and a market . you can go the beach by bus nb 4 and 5 i do recommend !

Very easy to find, very good located, quiet area, not far from the bus stop and railway station. The owner was helpful and answering all my questions, also tried to give us apartment earlier:) Hovewer we didn't meet him personaly, as some of the feedbacks said. Our apartment in general was clean, in kitchen you have everything you need for cooking- olive oil, sugar, salt, tea, coffee. For breakfast there were some yogurts, juice, cookies, croissants and jam. I think we would come back!

the previous guests left some cutlery and plates dirty, that's not on the owner, but could have been checked. Already told the owner about it, and hope that will be improved to make the stay of the others even better:)

Great appartment in the heart of the historic centre of Brindisi.All amenities we required for our sadly too short stay and the host Giuseppe could not have been any more helpful and welcoming. Excellent communication, and information for our stay, not only whilst in the apartment but also in advance of us arriving there, highly recommend and will hopefully return to Mare Nostrum if in Brindisi again. Good kitchen facilities and breakfast provided.

Only negative for us was no air conditioning (we knew this in advance) not an issue for our stay but would be a consideration if we returned in the height of summer. Fans provided however to help with cooling.

As I didn't know anything about the city, I took the first accommodation I came across. We thought we were just staying the night and didn't care what the place was. Now maybe I will choose a different accommodation, because it was only when we arrived that we realised what a wonderful city this is. But this apartment is in a great location, close to the station, close to the centre, walking distance to the nearest beach is about 5 km. The owner was happy to help with any questions, we liked having someone to turn to when we don't know where something is when we first arrive in the city. We felt at home, with a spacious kitchen and the possibility to cook.

The shower could be more spacious :) The interior is not very new. It might be a good idea to update the interior.

The place is really typical Italian flat (decoration etc), it was really clean and comfortable. really close to the train station/bus stop (+- 10min) in the center so this was really convenient ! :)

The breakfast was a bit disappointing “self service buffet” which is basically some industrial bread/croissant individually in plastic bag (the one you buy at the supermarket) in the wardrobe. Apparently it is because forr the law, they can't prepare food but we must give to the guests only closed and packaged food. However I think hit would be possible to provide more quality packages food and not industrial one found at supermarket. However this is the only little dark thing, all the rest was really nice and perfect. the price is also accessible which maybe explain the breakfast.

We only stayed overnight, but it was an extremely pleasant experience and we strongly recommend it for those staying in Brindisi. The room was spotlessly clean, there is a well-equipped kitchen available and the room was very spacious. The highlight is the care and helpfulness of the owner, Giuseppe. This B&B is charming and cozy. A lot of thought and care were put towards making guests comfortable, with different amenities in the room (extra pillows, snacks, etc).

We stayed for only a few hours, so we can't fairly assess the downsides. We could point out two things: Wi-fi seemed to lose signal in certain parts of the room. This B&B is located in the old town and in a narrow street, so there is some loud motorcycle traffic at times.

While choosing this place, you book not just a room to stay in Brindisi, but the unique experience! Hosts (in my case it was Daniele) are in love with Brindisi and what they do, so they are giving you a special treatment, providing with a detailed recommendations about what to see, where to eat and even welcome you with a glass of wine in their family souvenir shop around the corner. Overall, I had a feeling that I became a part of the family and not just a tourist. All the small issues (I couldn't turn on the heating) are being solved within minutes. Would be more than happy to come back some other time!

It's an old apartment, but it's exactly as you see on the pictures (actually, even better in reality). No complaints about that. Even more, it provides an authentic charm of a true Italian accommodation

Thumbs up for English communication with the host! Giuseppe is the perfect host, very friendly and informing us ahead of time with all the details we needed! The place is perfectly located in the Old Brindisi district on a quiet street short distance from the port, attractions and restaurants. What I loved was the selection of teas and the quality 18/10 stainless steel pots, a true rarity these days, incomparable to Teflon, even if we just used them for boiling water for tea or eggs for breakfast!! Throughout the apartment you can notice the attention to details, the style fits the architecture and the city yet well suited for our needs. As we travelled with kids they had the sofa bed which previously was always a challenge to set it up, but this time it was ready when we arrived as well as the fridge and cupboard stocked up with breakfast items.

The breakfast options are on the sweet side, which is of course typical of European breakfasts. We are a more savoury kind of people, but for 2 days we indulged and if visiting again I have been reassured that Guiseppe can accommodate our preferences :)

This is a very nice and really big apartment right in the heart of Brindisi. I loved the atmosphere  and it was a pitty that I only made use of it for one night. Guiseppe  was very helpfull  and arranged a taxi to the airport for me in the middle of the night. He has a lot of tips for the city and showed himself a great host. Brindisi has a very nice boulevard and beautiful shopping street and was really alive In the evening. This apartment with everything you need is perfect for a longer stay.

I don't know about parking in the centre. The bed wiggles a bed but that is just a small thing.
