Amazing location. Very nice location closer to walking distance to most places and great AC in the summer heat. There is tea coffee and water in the common area. Bathroom is closeby across the corridor with private access with a key that will be assigned to you. Beds are comfortable. There is also a kitchen and a fridge in the common area. Downstairs is a nice very cheap grocery store that sells cheap water and nice fruits / essentials. The breakfast is at a nice bakery. Note on Tuesdays the bakery down the road at number 15 is open instead of #17 and it has more variety. The host was very nice and great service.

Location is great, really near the city center, the main fish market, relevant buildings, restaurants and bars. The accommodation was simply perfect organized, and amusing looking, with a coffee machine and water (important since tap water is not potable in wide range of Sicily) included in a common area. Room had small private balcony, but on the other hand common balcony on the opposite side is also available, kitchen was sweet. All in all, value for money (10/10).

Maybe the fact that breakfast is limited to one drink and one pastry, as we expected a small buffet table. Nevertheless, breakfast is enough for the morning and had a delicious taste, so at the end of the day it was something we liked! :)

Tha way of the breakfeast is very well handled, You get vouchers to nextdoor cafetery, where you can get brioch and granita or coffe with croissant. Room was very big and tidy, to bathroom you just have to go accross the flat, but it is still your private bathroom.

In room is instaled aircondition, which is nessesary. But it´s instaled only in rooms for accomodation. In the rest of the flat is just enourmus heat, especialy in bathroom, where you cannot stop thinking if you didn´t miss something and you goes to sauna.

Stayed here for just one night before leaving Catania the next morning. Very good central location – 5 minutes walking to the fish market, Piazza del Duomo, as well as the bus station for taking the bus to the airport. The room was quite large. There were also large common spaces (living room, kitchen), but we didn’t get to use them. The bathroom is outside the room, which can be a bit inconvenient. However, I think we were alone during our night there, didn’t hear anybody else, so it wasn’t a big problem in the end, for just one night. The bathroom is large and comfortable. Breakfast is included in a coffee shop next building, a coffee and a pastry.

The room was facing a very noisy street. The cleanliness of the room could have been slightly better.

The location was very good! It is near, very near, the centre and fish market. The room and the bathroom were very clean. For breakfast we got voucher and could eat in the cafe near apartment (very delicious brioche and coffee).

It was very uncomfortable to find this apartment, because nobody opened door for us, when we rang the bell 'Sicilian Mood' on the building. After only call we explained where we are, the owner opened the door. I think the owners should to explain in advance how to find and get into the building by whats app or in the booking confirmation, because it takes a lot if time and it is very uncomfortable.

It was very spacious and clean. Nice design. Big place for cooking, terrace, balkony. Light. Super nice owner. Helped us to check in. Also there was coffee with capsules available.

Not so comfortable pillows but that's not a big problem

Beautiful architecture. It‘s a joy to look at the ceiling and the floor. We really like the location. It‘s close to the castello Ursino and the fish market. Our fav bar was also very close and anything you need. Also the balcony is a joy and the café where you get the breakfast is very tasty and the staff super friendly.

It could be cleaner and the bedframe is making a lot of noise.

Sicilian Mood offered a good size room with comfortable beds, good size kitchen and the common area where there is a chance to socialize or eat a family meal. In our bedroom we had beatifully decorated ceiling with chandelier.

The only negative is the noise from the main road which is quite busy from early morning. This did not bother us as we wake up early anyway.

Great location in Catania, and lovely spacious rooms. Our lovely helpful hosts organised a good continental breakfast at the local patisserie cafe. We were able to walk to all the sites, and our hosts also offered us fantastic suggestions for local restaurants.

The room was on a busy road, and despite the window shutters, the traffic was quite loud.
