Breakfast was very good...certainly had everything we could possibly want to eat! we liked our room as well, it was spacious and we had a balcony with a beautiful view; I loved having the bathtub in the bathroom as many of the newer modern places no longer have them. I was able to soak in a hot bath each night I was there. The staff also went out of their way the first morning we were there. We told them when we checked in that we were leaving early the next morning (before breakfast would be available) and they offered to prepare a breakfast take-a-way which included many items....it was very nice of them to do that as well as give us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony.

that we did not have AC; it wasn't too bad but if it had been hot, we would not have liked it

The location was excellent - close to town but quiet, with beautiful views. We had a family suite that had 2 bathrooms - perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. Choices ranged from fresh fruit through to eggs and bacon and a large choice of delicious cakes and pastries. The hotel also offers a packed lunch which we had one day when we went for a long hike in the mountains. There is a good choice of restaurants in Cortina. One evening we ate in the hotel, and the food was very good. The staff went out of their way to help us. A particular shout out for the young waiter did a great job and always with a smile!

A good hotel for exploring the area around Cortina. The walk into town was actually pleasant and safe.

Staying at the hotel for a number of days meant that we went right round the menu. There was no change in the menu and we were surprised by the choices available. All good/excellent quality but the wait between courses was extended. This had all the feelings of a start of season experience where what is probably a well oiled machine was pushing to getting going again. Start of season = start of getting back to work. New people to train and focus to be made on the future success of an old established business. This is not a bad hotel at all. Just one that exhibits the need for gentle redirection.

The staff was excellent. So friendly and welcoming. By the second day I didn't even need to say "cappuccino" because the lovely breakfast waiter was already arriving with one as I sat in a sleepy stupor. Breakfast was AMAZING. Fresh, healthy, so many options. It really set us up well for the day on the slopes. Rooms are very clean with stunning views. My balcony became a nightly gathering spot for beer and star gazing. Walked into Cortina village for dinners. Great casual cozy Molo Pub really close to the hotel with amazing sandwiches, and all the other dinner options about a 15 minute walk. Recommend Il Ponte. The other meals we had in town were mediocre compared to food on the slopes. The hotel was super clean and toasty warm. I did use my white noise app at night most nights because the walls were quite thin and I could hear late night guests getting home and chatting. Somehow hearing voices in another language wasn't as annoying as it would have been to hear my own language that late at night. You could walk into town for skiing (kind of a hike in ski boots though), but we drove. Parking is so cheap! $5 for the day in most spots. There is also a hotel van to the ski bus, but we always opted for driving. The variety of ski slopes and peaks and the ability to get to them all once you're on one of the mountains was so great. Fabulous trip. Not a cheap area to go by European standards, but this hotel was lovely, and skiing in Cortina is much less expensive than any of the Colorado and Idaho places I've been. Full Dolomite ski pass for about $70 a day made this a holiday that I could much more easily afford. The hotel was the biggest ticket item, and I felt it was good value.

Quieter rooms, but it DID NOT detract from a lovely holiday. Just would be a bit nicer if you couldn't hear others late at night.

Absolutely loved the views from the hotel! Our room had a balcony which we were not expecting and because the hotel is a bit higher up on the montain the view was just beautiful. The room had a safe and a fridge with water and was very big with plenty of storage, the bed and sheets were super nice and comfortable. The breakfast was very delicious and a lot of food options. The hotel was lovely and had a lift as well which was really nice to use since we were on the 4th floor. There's also a storage room where you can drop of your skis. The location is also great, not in the centre but we loved walking into town, only 10-15 minutes and there's a walk path connecting the hotel to the centre. If you don't like walking the hotel also offers a shuttle to several areas of Cortina including most of the slopes.

The room was really warm, we turned off the heating but it was still super hot through the night and we ended up leaving the window open. The restaurant is also a bit expensive but very delicious nonetheless. The wifi was okay during some parts of the day and bad during other times, I think by the reception is where we got the best connection.

Rooms were comfortable and clean and we had a large balcony with great views. Breakfast was generous, eggs were tasty. Location was a little outside center but just a short 15 min walk along the delightful bike path.

The restaurant was rather expensive, although the food was good. One improvement would be the quality of the wifi. It was constantly dropping in and out and made Teams calls for example a little difficult. Also would be nice to see the tennis court cleaned up and in use.

It was really good experience. The room was located on the third floor, with a balcony and an amazing view of the surrounding mountains. The staff was friendly and polite. The room was really big and had everything we needed. The hotel was 15 minutes walk from the center and had a parking area. We enjoyed the breakfast. It also has an elevator which is useful when you return after the Tre Cime :)

The shower was not comfortable. We also received it with a leaking tap. We notified the front desk on the first day. She was very nice, but the problem wasn't fixed. Fortunately, it didn't really affect our stay there. In general, the experience was good but I'm not sure it was worth the money.

The large doona instead of 2 singles was lovely. A short walk to town via a path. Our room had a wonderful view of the Dolomiti.

Needs a bit of TLC, but clean & adequate. There are signs for the hotel pointing in 2 opposite directions & our GPS guided us down the one pointing down a bike path. Why there is a sign to the hotel pointing down a bike path in the opposite direction to the hotel, is anyone's guess. It needs to be removed from the street intersection.

we loved our stay here, and had a great meal at their restaurant. the views and walks from the hotel were lovely. the staff was friendly, and some of them spoke English and helped us figure out hiking routes.

it’s not right in town, but we had a car. also, you could walk to town. we would definitely come back to this gem.

It was a very pleasant experience and the staff over there really made it unique. Location-AMAZING views from all angles. From the moment we have arrived the staff was very helpful and fixed for us a room with a spectacular view towards the valley. Breakfast was more than variated, with lots of options for all tastes, nice atmosphere during the evening, perfect music for breakfast and dinner as well. The staff over there is doing a great job, congratulations!

We liked everything, but maybe more just as a suggestion, not to make the fire on the terrace every evening, even if its very pleasant for the general atmosphere, however due to the fact that our room was facing the terrace where the fire was on, we could easily smell the smoke inside the room. other than that it was PERFECTO! :)
