This was a wonderful accommodation for my 3 nights in Ferrara as it was close to everything, literally just across the street from the cathedral. I was able to walk from the train station to the B&B, which was about 23 minutes. Upon arrival, check-in was easy with the keyless entry, but it would be difficult without at least 4G cell service. Manuela was so helpful when I entered the B&B. She provided me with great recommendations for restaurants, the local food that the area is known for, and suggested purchasing the Myfe card essential if you are going to be visiting many of the attractions in the area. The room was very spacious and clean and bright. I loved having air conditioning, since it was hotter than what I thought it would be this time of year. The summer festival was happening while I was there. However, there was very little noise with the concerts that were happening during my stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

The location is excellent, right in the heart of town. The room was quiet, and the reception by the owner handled very smoothly. Although there's no breakfast, you can buy vouchers for the Leon d'Oro cafe nearby on the town square - a great sidewalk experience. Someone is on hand during the day if there are any questions or issues. Windows open in room and bathroom, giving ventilation if desired, and room is still quiet. Kettle, tea and coffee, etc. in room.

The requested on-line check-in procedure is a hassle -- a lot of info asked for, and the terms and conditions take so long to read. We had problems doing it via a phone which didn't work well, but fortunately the owner agreed to take care of it on arrival. At a hotel the check-in is straightforward with a booking.com reservation -- show id, passports and credit card, and it takes only moments. More international channels on the TV would be good.

Check in was really smooth. The building has an elevator and is very well located, literally at the entrance of the old town. Next to the b&b there’s a great restaurant which offers typical food called Cusina e Butega. The room is very well decorated and has everything you need for a couple of days in Ferrara. The staff is really friendly and helpful. They let us leave our luggage after check out and they were really nice and helpful. Will definitely recommend staying here when visiting Ferrara.

Our room was very nice but it didn’t have much natural light nor did it have a view. Having breakfast included would be a plus.

In the city center, though very peaceful and quiet, we received a very warm welcome upon arrival and throughout our stay. In the morning, there was always someone available for a brief chat and to serve us a delicious cup of tea or espresso. It’s truly a wonderful and tranquil place to stay, perfect for relaxing while still being close to everything.

I loved the central location and large airy room with its small terrace. Carlo was a fabulous host who provided helpful recommendations on restaurants, day trips, sights etc. The staff were friendly and kept everything comfortable and clean. Ferrara is a joy with a wealth of interesting historical sights, markets and friendly people.

I can't think of anything.

Complimentary coffee at breakfast, excellent location (direct access from the train station by bus #11, only a minute from downtown), and good cleanliness. The hotel staff is very welcoming and friendly.

The ceiling of the room I stayed in was similar to the roof of a loft, and it happened to be raining during the time I stayed there, so I could hear some rain when I fell asleep at night (the sound was acceptable, similar to white noise) but it still had an impact on people who had difficulty falling asleep. The windows in the room are small, the toilet has no windows, and the room is rather dark probably because of the rainy days.

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant, offering suggestions for dinner and explaining everything in detail. The location couldn't be more convenient for visiting the castle, cathedral square etc. The house had style and nice decorative touches. They also made excellent coffee in the morning and let us leave our luggage after checkout.

The virtual key system was a little hit and miss with our phone. You must have a charged phone with roaming data. Convenient for Italians, less so for foreigners. Nevertheless, they were happy to help people who couldn't get the system to work. I would have felt happier with a physical key, but perhaps that is a function of my age.

We thought it was a hotel but it was a B&B but really it still felt like a hotel as there was a reception and very helpful people checking you in and cleaning rooms. Coffee machine and water fountain available at all times. Very comfy bed with great pillows and lovely white sheets. Excellent shower also. Also a fridge and a walk in wardrobe. Excellent central location made this stay fabulous value.

Central location, comfortable room, efficient and quiet air conditioning.

The mobile phone operated lock was fiddly and it usually took me several attempts to unlock the door. I wondered how I would get in if anything happened to my phone. I can see that it controls entry according to the booking but I think it's impersonal like a supermarket automatic till.

It is a central apartment close to food and shopping. Located inside a - I would say - heritage building. What I loved the most is the opening both of building door and apartment door: one gets via e-mail a link, clicking it doors open. The room floor tiles have a countryside feel.

Just two little things: the shower curtain felt like kind of cheap and the bathroom light was flickering.
