The location was great. The rooms were modern and clean.

The dark entrance and staircase should be better lit at night. I couldn’t navigate it without the flashlight on my phone.

The location is very good- literally less than 5mins away from Ponte Vecchio. 5mins - 10mins away from boutique shops and your high end brands. A few local restaurants were pretty much within 50ms once you step out of the accommodation. We thought it was a hotel- but its a 'bed and breakfast' accommodation. We booked out 3 rooms, we pretty much had the entire space to ourselves. The accommodation did have a lift- like most places we've hit on this trip- it only does max of 2 peeps. Love it but, old school and historical artifact Uber is good if you can't hail a taxi- which can be difficult as the accommodation is tucked in- you will need to walk out maybe 100m before coming out onto the main road. Uber is pricey- 10-18 euro nearly one way (and that's on the cheaper end. We found that if you order an uberX , you still get the Van LOL- only 1 company, and they run with Mercedes) Walking the streets had such an awesome vibe- unlike us who had an elderly parent We only stayed in Florence as a pit/resting spot for seeing the Leaning tower of Pisa- The host was good- she was onsite managing the place from about 0830-0900hrs until 1800hrs. The only concern I had was the strong odor which came out from the bathroom in the room I was staying- the lovely lady did offer to swap out rooms but I thought it was pointless as we were leaving the following day- nothing like an open window to heal them nostrils. She told us that it's likely due to the old sewer system. Beddings etc...comfortable, clean- we had nil issues in this department The ONLY bad critique I have and it is not just for this accommodation, but for all the places we have been- whats up with the coarse, hard and sandpaper like toilet tissue LOL

Could have had free bottles of water per day- finding a local grocer is a little difficult Instructions on which level the accommodation sat on- I had to go onto every level to find the right floor- no biggie, but if you have no access to roaming/internet and if your running late (out of business hours) then finding the right floor could be a challenge

The room was very comfortable compared with some B&B rooms I have been in. Even the shower was a good size, which is excellent. The manager was pleasant and helpful. And the location was in a street with some interesting (and expensive) shops. It wasn't far to walk to all the main attractions of Florence.

The main downside was breakfast. The manager gave us a voucher each day to use at a cafe on the other side of the river. The idea is not a bad one, but the breakfast was rather minimal: one coffee, one croissant, one orange juice and one water (although sometimes the water wasn't provided). Our understanding was that we would also get a so-called "salty" item (savoury, I assume). However the people serving at the cafe were not aware of this. Probably the manager and the cafe should achieve a common understanding of what would be served.

Clean, updated rooms with good counter service - we had a taxi called and they didn't show up, but it was no fault of the hotel. They apologized for the inconvenience. Good service in trying to help us find a post office that would ship our stuff back to the US.

Nothing - clean and quiet stay, just how we like it!

A very modern fresh and spotless room. The location was excellent in addition to being opposite to one of the best restaurants in Florence (Parione, an absolute must in my opinion)! It's on the 3rd floor (with a quaint lift if you don't want to use the stairs) very quiet with a comfy medium firm mattress with two soft pillows each meant we slept like we were at home. Excellent air conditioning kept us nice an cool in the hot weather with a mini fridge, hair dryer, small coffee maker, and lovely bathroom with one of the best power showers I've experienced in any accommodation. Even a decent sized 40inch TV on the wall in front of the bed if of course you wanted to watch anything. All that coupled with lovely helpful staff, although they are only there in the mornings. The breakfast was always a worry in Italy as they don't normally serve savoury food typically sweet with cakes, etc. So for us having the option of boiled eggs with toast (brown or white), jam, honey, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, nuts, tea, coffee, fresh milk and oat milk, with 3 cereals, cocoa pops, corn flakes and granola we were well fed to start our day!

MThe hotel is in an old building, but the room is modern and comfortable. It is very well located, you can walk to the main attractions of Firenze: Ponte del Vecchio, Uffizi, Galeria, Duomo. The location is on the front of the Arno River, with several restaurants, bars, ice cream parlors and shops in the surroundings. The check-in system is self-check-in, you receive instructions by email or WhatsApp and a password to access the building, which also houses offices and shops and not just the hotel. Identifying the exact door of the building was more complicated than the rest, as the numbering of buildings in Firenze does not follow a logical sequence. Everything was very ca and the cost-benefit is very worthwhile. I had to leave very early on the day of check out and there was no one at the reception. I informed by e-mail of my consumption of two waters and received the affectionate message that they were on the house, due to the heat wave of the day. Sensational experience, I recommend it.

Nothing!

The landlady is lovely, friendly and helpful. The room I had was spacious enough, the mattress was firm enough, the shower had enough pressure. All communication before my stay (half a day later than we had anticipated due to flight problems) was swift, professional, and courteous. Check-in was pleasant, all amenties were presented and, if necessary, explained, as was the operation of the keypad to open the outside doors. The warm welcome and farewell left me looking forward to a hopefully speedy return.

Nothing.

Location was excellent!! Very clean, modern room in a quaint old building. Charming. The elevator is a hoot. Great wine bar that served a good menu and had lovely helpful staff is right next door.

Not properly named as a B & B because no breakfast is included, just a minibar. Even coffee and water are priced. Should maybe be called ‘Boutique Rooms’ instead, but even in those we have had biscuits & bottled water included at the least. Not crazy about the self-check in. We like yo meet and ask about local advice from our host where we stay.

Loved everything about this stay! Rooms were spacious and property had elevator which was helpful with luggage. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and had coffee machine in room. Location was great, close to river, attractions and restaurants.

Only thing to dislike was the noise when entering the property and different rooms. The buzzing was quite loud and actually woke me up when others came in later.

The location of the Amabilia was close to the train station (apprx 10 mins). The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. Food, shopping and attractions within walking distance. The Amabilia staff also responded quickly for all inquiries.

There wasn't anything that stood out as "unlikeable". The elevator is small. You could only fit 2 people. We were a party of 4 of which two were seniors. They took the elevator and we walked up the stairs most of the times - roughly 3 flights. Not bad.
