it was the greatest place to stay for the value! Our amazing and elegant breakfast was included with the cost of the room. The room was so spacious, clean and elegant. The bottom floor had a large living space with a toilet including a bidet, a walk in beverage room as well on the same floor. The stairs led up to a very large bathroom with shower. Our bedroom had a comfortable king bed overlooking the downstairs. The room was cleaned daily by Tiffany with clean sheets and towels. Every morning Bandara prepared our cappuccino as we went through the buffet of delicious breakfast items. We sat in an elegant dining room with tablecloth and table setting. It is a five Star hotel for the price of a four star.

Breakfast great , the dining area historic. The whole place was a great experience, living in a historical home was perfect for this city! The front desk wasn’t a traditional hotel experience, but they couldn’t have been nicer. Location perfect!!!

The elevator was also an interesting experience, amusing slow!

- Anastasia at the front desk was wonderful, very helpful and friendly - The location was great, very central easy to get to main sights and restaurants/bars etc

- The room was a bit dated - There we’re some issues on arrival eg shower would not drain and lights on the stairs didn’t work (Anastasia arranged someone to come and fix them the next day which was great but she nice we were only staying a few nights it was still not ideal) - When we were there, the entire hotel was covered in scaffolding so the view from the window was totally obscured and I think it would have been right for the hotel to warn us about it

Loved the location, the uniqueness of the property and most of the staff was great. Breakfast was a bit expensive but it was very good. The property was also very quiet.

Our room had two glass doors in the bathroom and, at different times, my husband and I walked into both of them - not a great design. The outside signage for the hotel could be better. Our friends were told that the hotel would handle sending their laundry out with a 24 hour turnaround and then failed to do so, leaving them with only dirty clothes to wear.

the facility was so unique, being an old home. The room has so much space, it was wonderful! we had an upstairs and a downstairs space, which was great at the end of a long day of touring. The bed and pillows were comfortable, as well as the couches. We loved the breakfast that was included with our room. They had scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, meats, cheeses, fruit, fresh bread, crescents, sweet breads and more. such a great variety! We would stay there again if we came back to Florence!

A perfect getaway for people who don't need to see or be seen. There is no lobby bar, no newsstand, flower shop or a gym, but there are big well appointed spotless rooms with highest ceiling I ever saw in a hotel, a quiet salon with an "honesty bar" and a view on the Arno, and plenty of good restaurants around. Breakfast, served by a friendly and helpful waitress, is plentiful, check in and check out are smooth considering that there are only few rooms in this grand XV century's palazzo. I have reservations about Florence, but definitely none about Leone Blu.

Both rooms we reserved were amazing. Beautiful and so much room. The staff was very pleasant and the breakfast was great. I couldn't imagine that anyone would be disappointed when opening the door to their room! The view of the River is one of the best in the city. Really fun to have the Palace experience in Florence.

The best part about staying at Leone Blu Suites is that you may get the chance to meet Anastasia. She checked us in and spent an enormous amount of time giving us a history lesson about Florence, the beautiful building we'd be staying in, and where to go and what to do. She and the team around her treated us very well throughout our stay.

The decoration in our room was a bit funky. I'd prefer a more traditional decoration given the building's history. Also, there's an incredible space on the first floor that is unused. This could be converted into a lounge or an art space.

As soon as we arrived we were welcomed by Anastasia Marcolini with two fantastic details: A glass of Prosecco wine and a history lesson. This while she was doing the administrative check-in process. Between sips of Prosecco we learned that the Hotel building was built in the 15th century (147...) and that today it still belongs to the same family that built it (one of the paintings in the hotel shows the family tree). The rooms have been personalised in the image of ancestral members of the family and are identified with their names instead of numbers. The breakfast is fantastic! The location couldn't be better! We had dinner two nights in Florence, both times in restaurants recommended by Anastasia Marcolini, and they were spectacular experiences. Thank you so much for your hospitality Anastasia!

Fantastic large apartment (much more space than I needed!), perfectly located on the river close to the historic quarter and great restaurants, and incredible staff always friendly and wanting to help make the trip the best
