The location and the breakfast. The lift and the storage of luggage after check-out. Some of the employees are nice and kind. But one man at reception is not very welcoming when I tried to check-in. He saw me approaching the counter while he was trying to sit in front of the computer. He sat down anyway and after I said I would like to check-in, he then slowly stood up and walked to the counter.

The room was perfect and the big doors to a balcony was a special surprise. We stayed for 12 nights and were very happy with the service as well as the friendly staff - especially the reception and staff at breakfast. Will definitely recommend the hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy and explore beautiful Florence.

Greeted by friendly and helpful front desk staffs, and enjoyed the stunning yet warm and welcoming comfy antique lounge seats in lobby & well maintained and decorated lounge areas. Room service and cleaning is good, and prompt. Hotel's location is superb within walking distance to most attractions and restaurants, and convenient store. Breakfast service staffs are helpful, efficient and cheerful. Breakfast choices are good, and refreshed regularly with requested soft boiled eggs done to perfection and chocolate milk were simply delightful. A great way to start the day!

Had a room on the ground floor with window view to the road, preferred a room with more private view, if possible, a balcony attached. No daily complimentary drinking water on hot summer days are simply disappointing.

Very nice hotel, very close to the trains station and also close for visiting the city. It has classy, old stylish furniture. Very organized staff, breakfast started at 7AM exactly. The breakfast was very good, varied, tasty with many options for all tastes. The room was very nice, with hard wood furniture, the windows had a nice arcuate form with a view to an inner courtyard. Good air-condition system, which was good on the hot summer days. The bed was very comfortable, clean, with good pillows. Towels were changed daily. We had a good stay and would gladly return.

If I must find some small minuses: we didn't receive an iron, only a steamer, for a 50 euros deposit, money which they gave back the next morning after handing over the steamer. The bathroom was a little small, it was difficult to enter, the door was not opening fully (due to it's weight, scratched the floor). The floor in the bathroom was not very clean. The walls in the bathroom presented marks of saltpeter.

My family and I were pleasantly surprised by Hotel Albani Firenzi. First it is a five minute walk from the train station (Santa Maria Novella {SMN}. Neighborhoods around train stations are never not somewhat sketchy regardless of where you are. However no one bothered us and the staff was very friendly and willing to answer questions. Breakfast was very good with an assortment of cheeses, meats, scrambled and hardboiled eggs, bacon, fresh fruits, pancakes and pastries. Fresh brewed coffee. espresso, cappuccino etc. The dining area was very clean and staff super nice. Our was also very clean and beds were comfortable. When I booked I typed a request to have our family in adjoining rooms or on the same floor. They gave us a family suit and our three boys thought that was fantastic. this hotel has a charm about it with its decor...there are dark mahogony furniture, expensive wall paper (theres an old world charm about it). It really is a great deal for your money. Also, Firenze is a very walkable city and this hotel was perfectly located because we were 10 minutes walk from the Duomo, 20 minute walk from Ponte Vecchio.

Conveniently located in the heart of Florence, easy walking distance to everything. We stayed in a Family room and was particularly impressed by the spaciousness of the rooms. The beds in particular are very comfortable and we slept well. We enjoyed that on check in, we were given a map of Florence and there was a guide book of things to do in the room which helped us plan our days better.

If I am being picky, breakfast could have been better - a note by the pancake machine on how it works would have been helpful. There also isn't a huge choice.

The hotel's location, just a 3-minute walk from the train station, was incredibly convenient, making it easily accessible. The staff were exceptionally nice and provided excellent service throughout my stay. From the reception to the housekeeping staff and the restaurant team, everyone was friendly and welcoming. I particularly appreciated the feedback form provided, as it allowed me to share my thoughts and experiences.The cantucini biscuits provided were a delightful touch, adding a pleasant flavor to my stay. The room itself had a cozy ambiance, and the lighting on the rooftop added a charming touch to the overall atmosphere.

It should be noted that the hotel's pricing was slightly expensive compared to similar accommodations in the area. The overall vibe of the hotel had a slightly dated feel to it, which may not appeal to those seeking a more modern ambiance.While the breakfast offered a variety of options, I would have liked to see more vegetarian choices to cater to a wider range of dietary preferences.

This hotel was very refined and had very friendly staff. We loved the breakfast buffet with great service. The dinner's were equally delicious. The rooms refrigerators were nicely stocked and very reasonably priced! Unusual for a very nice hotel. The location was in walking distance to the train station with luggage in tow even for us 70+ year olds. Their service for parking our rental car each day we had one was very smoothly accommodating.

Absolutely beautiful facility, decor, art, style, elegance, in perfect repair

The front desk team was cold, unresponsive, seemed irritated with having to deal with guests, unhelpful in answering questions about where to eat, transportation around Florence, basic tourist information... I felt like I was bothering them with any little question. Breakfast was lovely and the wait staff in breakfast room was lovely - as were the house keepers. But the front desk team was - awful. So, we found a different hotel and moved on to the MOST FABULOUS HOTEL - The Bernini Palace - now THAT was expert service. The Bernini staff MADE our trip to Florence like a dream!!!

The room was very big and very comfortable, we had the Deluxe room.

The breakfast was very basic for this kind of hotel and orientated to tourists with a sweet tooth!!!!!!!. No much choice for people who like their cereals and fruits in the morning and the choice of cheeses was so poor. Please improve the quality of your breakfast.
